Unwanted Celebrity

I never wanted to be famous.
Got no choice,
Forced to comply.
Thrown into this world,
An outsider who didn’t belong.
Dragged into the unknown.
On lots of crazy adventures.
Fought battles,
Defeated foes,
Lots of traveling…
Finally finishing off the divine.
War has been won.
No more evil.
My name, a legend.
Legend for being an outsider.
Legend for defeating a god.
Legend for being myself?
The world knows my name.
Younglings grow up hearing the stories,
Of my grand adventures.
Not my, our.
I wasn’t alone.
Lots of help,
From the party and allies.
A dwarf and his daughter.
A “traitor” and his pet.
An elven prince.
All famous;
Our names, legend.
Legend for defeating the evil.
For saving our Author.
