A wonderful team, we are.

Feasting on lovely three course meals.
Large, fancy houses:
Our playground.
Making our own fun –
Breaking vases and plates
Sticky fingers, we have:
Solid alibis, we don’t.
Unaware it’s us –
Couldn’t catch us if they tried
Blaming it on the weather
Not thinking any the wiser
Like another cat,
Infamous, we all know
All red and angry
Defying gravity with snake-like movements
Everybody’s worst nightmare!
We laugh, we sing.
We have a good time,
Dancing with our friends…
Under the full moon,
In the dirty, old junkyard
Many shared stories
Stories of many cats
And even some dogs…
All dancing under the pale moonlight,
Wishing to be chosen
On this special night
Of the Jellicle Ball.
