Chapter 6- Harry
Harry,
What were you thinking, going after You-know-who alone? Me and your dad were extremely worried. You can’t be this reckless, Harry. I will be giving you a stern talk once you get home.
Please do not interact with your potions Professor (this is a note from your dad), he’s quite dangerous. I hope to god that your friends are alright. I can’t believe how brave you were, but please stay safe. I’ll see you in a few days!
P.S: We might be going to France this summer..If you don’t get into much trouble
Yours Always,
Moony
Harry sighed and put the letter back into its envelope. It arrived just as he started packing. The letter doesn’t seem too aggressive but Harry knows he’s going to get it when he goes home.
“You’ll write won’t you?” Draco asks.
“Of course I will,” Harry answers. Draco nods happily and goes to the bathroom to fix his hair. Harry rolls his eyes as Draco slathers on layers of gel. Instead, he takes out a quill and finds a piece of parchment.
Dear Moony,
I’m sorry I worried you. I hope you and Dadfoot feel at rest now. Hagrid, the groundskeeper, told me about my real parents. He said James was always in trouble and that Lily was ‘the kindest witch I’ve ever met, aside from Mcgongall, o’ course. Tell Dadfoot Happy Birthday for me. I hope he has a great 32nd birthday!
And I’ll be so excited if we get to go to France!
Harry
“Right, everyone. Remember that you cannot use magic outside of school, Yes Mr. Zabini, it is forbidden.” Professor Snape rolled his eyes at the thought of him doing that. Now, I will walk you down to the Hogwarts Express once it is time, so for the remainder of time, please stay in the great hall with your belongings,” Professor Snape announces drily.
So, Harry waits. He makes a bit of small talk with Pansy, who seems excited to go back for Summer.
“We’re going to France this summer!” Pansy shrills. Everyone on the table rolls their eyes at her. She was known for going on the most extravagant vacations.
“Oh, my dad said we might go to France as well, want to meet there?” Harry says. Pansy then launches into a long tangent on the time and places of everywhere they were going. Harry wished he hadn’t said that, and decided to look at Draco. It had become a nice activity of his to look into his stunningly piercing eyes.
Then, all the Heads of Houses walk into the great hall and all the students stand up at once. Then, Professor Snape leads the Slytherins to the train station.
“Harry! This one!” Draco exclaims. He, Draco, Pansy and Blaise sit down in a compartment and Harry takes out the masses of candy from his trunk. Blaise’s eyes light up in joy and they all laugh.
They don’t speak much on the ride back, just soak in each other's company and eat candy. When the train touches down, Harry can barely hold his excitement in. He launches into a run as he sees his Moony and Dadfoot.
“Harry! Slow down!” Moony exclaims, a bit scandalised. Then, he and Dadfoot wrap him in a hug. It smells like chocolate and oranges. Nice and comforting, Harry thinks to himself.
“So Dadfoot, are we going to France? My friend Pansy is going as well!” Harry asks eagerly.
“Yes, Harry. If you would like, we could arrange something with your friend,” Harry’s dad replies. Harry is ecstatic. His first time going to another country and meeting Pansy? His luck couldn’t get better.
This was going to be one hell of a holiday.
