Dear diary, my dad is amazing!
Today the three of us went to Luna's house. Xenophilius, Luna's dad, told us that his wife and daughter were in the backyard trying out a new spell. Dad ran into the house, and I lost sight of him just as a loud explosion sounded. I saw dad cast a strong shield over Luna's mum, but Pandora still ended up with many burns. Dad said she could have died, so I'm glad he was able to save her.
Xeno did his best to heal his wife, but the burnt skin deformed her face. I stayed at the Lovegoods' with my brother while dad went back to Prince Manor for the ointment and snake skin he used to heal me. Luckily, there were still some at home, or else we would have had to wait a month for it to be ready.
When dad returned, he explained to Xeno how to apply it and what would happen next. Xeno was so grateful because dad saved his wife's life, and now dad even gave him a potion that would restore her to normal. He started crying and said that the Lovegood house would always be in debt to the Prince house. As soon as he said that, I felt a slight tug in my chest. Dad explained that it was the magic accepting the new bond.
I'm so glad that in the end, everything turned out okay and no one died...
