He was more than okay with the man being his father. He had kind eyes. The man looked like he was about to cry.The man said yes.OR,My excuse to make a socmed fic in AO3, with Harry Potter being Tony Stark's kid.

Chapter 1

Chapter 001

Harry had thought, foolishly, that picking up a random, drunk man from the sidewalk was a perfect way to attain a biological parent.

Said random, drunk man, with no significant other, kids, or STDs, and just so happened to be, apparently, sick and dying. Perfect. Just what Harry was looking for.

A no-strings-attached biological parent, whose life and relationship Harry wouldn’t ruin because of his (magically modified) DNA; the latter of which because the man had none, the former because he wouldn’t have it for much longer.

Harry cared about the latter because the man had kind eyes. Sure, he was a drunkard, and, yeah, apparently, he partied a lot and slept around (Harry doesn’t judge—Sirius was the same—and this helps Harry’s case, really). But that man cared more about that than Harry did, and he cared that Harry might, which is nice because no one ever really cared about what Harry might feel about their actions and how they could affect him. So Harry wouldn’t want to ruin his image or put a wedge in his relationship with a significant other by being the man’s biological teenage son.

The dying part, Harry couldn’t help out, no matter what he’d like to do. Episkey can heal minor wounds, not illnesses, and his potion skills, even if he had the appropriate ingredients, might just kill the man rather than help him.

It all worked out.

Until the man survived his supposed-but-apparently-not deadly illness.

“The 2000 US Census recorded over 34,000 individuals with the last name Stark.” In summary: stop bothering me about my surname ✌️
