And because of what she did and said napa tutok sa kanya ang lahat ng camera, when I heard my wife napatayo ako agad and I ran papunta sa kanya.
I hugged her so tight, so tight, and I was carried by that beautiful moment.
“Love, you need to stop this presscon. please don`t do this, I forgive you, I forgive your father please don`t ruin yourself and your family for me, I am begging you to stop” Jasmine said habang nakayakap ako sa kanya.
Hindi ko alam what change her mind at nandito siya telling me that she forgives me pero after she said that pinuntahan ko agad si ate celeste and whispered na we need to talk first.
So ate told the press to give us time muna meron lang urgent na kailangan asikasohin.
And here we all are sa loob ng malaking opisina ni ate.
“So, Jasmine speak” ate said sa asawa ko
Habang kaming magkakapatid ay nakatingin lang sa kanya,listening sa lahat ng mga sinasabi niya.
Kahit una medyo naguluhan kami after she said her story,
We all understand what happened, what really happened, and instead of being angrier because of what she said, we found ourselves understanding and accepting what happened in the past dahil wala na naman kaming magagawa but to learn and not do the same mistakes our parents did.
We all look at each other, agreeing on one thing: not to proceed in telling the truth about our father.
Ate Celeste, look at me and Jasmine. “So any idea, ano sasabihin natin sa press? We can’t just send them away.”
Katherina stepped in and said
“I have a crazy idea, and since our beautiful jasmine here told everyone, she is pregnant, what if we tell them na pinapunta natin sila dito, so we can invite everyone in our sister wedding with of course jasmine and this time will make sure it’s real, yun nga lang if after everything you both learned mas pi-piliin niyo parin na mahalin ang isat-isa?”
I looked at Jasmine. “Yes, I still choose her, and I will still love her despite everything, ganun ko siya kamahal.”
I can`t believe I just said that out loud sa harapan ng mga kapatid ko.
We all look at Jasmine as we wait for her answer. she smiled at lumapit siya sa akin sabay hawak sa kamay ko, then she faces my sisters.
“Mahal na mahal ko tong kapatid niyo kahit pa minsan-minsan mas mataray pa sa akin, and yes I will always choose to love her kahit buong mundo pa kalaban ko, I know that is cheesy but yes, I love her”
Caroline clapped her hands. “Fantastic! Now we have a wedding to plan”
Now, all of us looked at Ate Celeste, waiting for her approval, but instead of speaking, she smiled while looking at Jasmine and me. After that, we all went out together, and this time, I am holding the hand of my wife.
“Thank you for your patience, we know it`s early in the morning and all of you is here, we truly appreciate that and as a token of our appreciation, we all want to invite you to witness, the wedding of the year that will happen two days from now, I know I already did introduced jasmine to our closes family, friends and business partners but this time, I want to call Davina my sister and jasmine her wife and let the world witness, A love that conquered all the odds, A love that will make us believe that no amount of pain and suffering can stop two hearts that beat us one”
Ate celeste said and give that wonderful piece, sa lahat ata ng sinabi niya sa mga ganitong event ng pamilya for me eto ang pinaka-magandang narinig ng tenga ko.
As the press conference proceeded, Me, Jasmine, personally invited the public to come and witness us as we again became one, and this time in front of everyone’s eyes.
We ended that with a bang and seeing everyone with a happy smile sa mga labi nila, it was ended successfully thanks to ate Celeste, my siblings and my wife.
Now here we are alone in our own house, this house witness how we started as a friend turns to be a fake mag asawa and now this house will witness, how I will love my wife for the rest of my life.
Nandito kami ngayon sa pool area ni jasmine, holding a bottle of beer sa kamay namin.
I look at her and I cannot believe na after everything we went through eto kami eh kakasal with the approval of the masses and of course with my siblings agreeing and being so damn supportive sa aming dalawa.
“Love?” jasmine uttered
Dahilan para mapunta sa kanya ang attention ko
“Yes, mahal ko?” I replied habang naka-ngiti sa kanya
Lumapit siya sa akin then inalis niya sa kamay ko ang beer na hawak ko at inalis din niya ang sa kanya.
The moment her soft hands touch my face, hindi ko mapigilan ang hindi maluha.
She wipes my tears “Love, I want to say sorry for leaving you kahit na alam ko na wala kang kasalanan, your father`s fault is never your fault, I am so sorry at nagpadala ako sa emotion ko, hindi dapat kita iniwan, dapat pinaglaban ko ang pagmamahal ko saiyo”
she said magsasalita pa sana siya but I kissed her right away.
Slowly and as gentle as I can, I kissed her, making her feel my love, and while we are enjoying this moment biglang umulan ng napakalakas kaya agad kaming napatigil sa paghahalikan and we both laughed.
“Halika na, pasok na tayo sa loob” aya niya sa akin pero instead na pumasok
I carried her like a bride, and I jumped sa loob ng pool with her in my arms.
She laughed at what I did, and we both enjoyed the raindrops in our bodies. I look at my wife with all the love I can give, and once again, we share a beautiful kiss under the rain inside our pool.
That was such an epic moment, a very wonderful way to start our day.

It is now 7am at eto kami nakahiga pa sa kama magkayakap.
“Love,I`m thinking kung pwede ba na dalawin natin dady mo?” I asked
Because of that napa-alis siya ng hawak sa akin, “But alam mo naman nasa kulungan siya diba?”
I looked at jasmine and said “Eh ano naman ngayon, gusto ko siyang makausap at isa pa I admire your father”
“Admire him? Bakit naman wala naman ata siyang nagawa na tama maliban sa he surrendered sa mga pulis” sabi niya
I smiled “exactly it takes a lot of courage and love to do the right thing, lalo na for sure alam niya na kapag ng pahuli siya hindi ka na niya makikita kahit kailan niya gusto”
“dahil nasa kulungan na siya” I added
Jasmine stared at me hindi ko alam if she agrees or not but when umakyat siya sa akin since naka higa kami and she kiss me.
I guess that`s a hint na oo?
She kisses my lips so wildly, slowly putting her tongue inside, I welcome it with mine, sucking her tongue while my right hand slowly travels inside her clothes.
“Opps…not too fast my love, pakasalan mo muna ako, so tara, get-up let’s eat and cook our breakfast together” jasmine said sabay tayo niya sa kama.
“Love naman,nakaka-bitin…arghhh!” I said dahilan para matawa siya pero wala akong nagawa, tama naman siya, we should wait, ngayon pa baa ko hindi maghihintay.
So, we went downstairs to cook together, hindi pa kami magkasundo sa kung paano ang luto sa itlog.
“Sunny side up? Or Scrambled eggs?” I asked
“I told you, scrambled” she uttered
“Eh naman kasi, sunny side up nalang” sabi ko naman ulit
“ahh… bakit ba kasi nakalimutan natin bumili ng itlog hindi sana tayo ngayon ng tatalo kung paano lutuin tung isang itlog nato” sabi niya and after she said that nagtawanan nalang kami sa trip namin.
Kahit naman biruan lang namin ang pagtatalo kung paano lutuin ang itlog ang saya lang na ngayon nakakatawa na kami at sa ganitong maliliit na mga bagay pa.
After cooking and sharing a beautiful meal agad din kaming nagbihis para mapuntahan sa prisinto ang tatay niya.
“Hey, relax love nandito lang ako” I said giving her assurance na magiging okay ang lahat, nandito pa kami sa loob ng kotse habang nakatingin si jasmine sa presento kung nasaan nakakulong ang ama niya.
“Tara, I am now okay,” she said, then she showed me her smile to let me know na she is really fine, but I know deep inside she is not- not today, but I know she will be someday.
I can see how uncomfortable she is, but she is trying as she looks at her father na papalapit sa amin.
He wanted to give her a hug, but my wife refused to pina-upo niya eto agad sa harapan namin, and I notice na hindi siya comfortable seeing people na nakatingin sa amin kahit sampu lang kami na nandito because meron pang iba na bumibisita din sa mga pamilya nila.
Kaya tinignan ko ang head na police sa prisinto nato and used my card para malagay kami sa isang private na lugar na kami lang tatlo kahit na ayaw kung gumagamit ng kapangyarihan, I need to for my wife.
“Ikakasal na ako, I mean ikakasal na kami” jasmine said finally nagsalita na siya pagkalipat namin sa lugar na kami lang.
Her father looks at me “Kamukha mo ang papa mo, salamat hija”
Hindi ko alam kung paano ng connect yung dalawang sinabi niya pero I said “salamat po at wag po kayo mag-alala hindi ko pababayaan anak niyo” hindi ko alam kung bakit ako kinakabahan pero nasabi ko naman ng maayos.
Her father smiled then she looked at her daughter “ anak, maging masaya ka, pasensya na wala ang papa sa darating na kasal mo” and he is trying to not cry habang sinasabi yun.
Alam ko na may kakayahan ako na palabisin kahit saglit ang papa niya para makasama namin sa isa, sa importanteng ganap ng buhay namin pero syempre hindi ko yun gagawin without her permission, without asking if she wants her father na nandoon sa araw na yun.
Jasmine stand-up mula sa pagkakaupo and uttered “Salamat po, aalis na kami but please know na I forgave you, hindi pa man kita maka-usap dahil hanggang ngayon masakit pa rin but know I already forgive you,ingat po kayo” as she try her best not to cry.
I look at her father one last time and give him a smile, an assurance na hindi ko iiwan, pababayaan ang anak niya kahit ano man ang mangyari.
At ngayon na nandito na kami sa sasakyan, hinawakan ko ang mga kamay ng asawa ko to let her know, I am proud of her at naharap niya ang papa niya.
“So…saan mo gusto pumunta mahal?” I asked
“Well, gusto ko sana asikasohin ang kasal natin pero I know mga kapatid mo na ang gumagawa so… let`s have fun instead” jasmine said then she finally smiled.
A smile na this time alam ko na she is really smiling. Well, tama naman siya pati ako gusto ko asikasohin ang kasal pero since sabi ng mga mababait ko na kapatid na hayaan nalang sila na gawin yun bilang regalo sa amin so we did.
Me and jasmine decided na sila na gumawa ng lahat at mag asikaso dahil wala naman Talaga kaming ideal wedding na gusto namin, what we want is to get married kahit saan or anong klaseng kasal pa yan.
We might have a little touches sa wedding but the rest sila na ang bahala, I really appreciate my sisters in doing all of this for me and jasmine besides alam ko it will be epic because the people planning my wedding, our wedding is the people who first believed that I deserve to be loved despite kung gaano ako ka maldita.
We spend our day, doing fun things like riding a bike sa park, eating kwek-kwek, squidballs at lahat ng streetfoods na makita namin wala kaming pinalampas.
Then we stop here kung saan makikita mo ang magandang paglubog ng araw, we loved watching the sunsets, it brings us peace everytime we see it together.
“Here love, beer?” I offered habang sabay kaming nakatingin sa papalubog na araw.
Nandito kami ngayon naka sandig sa kotse habang nakalagay naman ang ulo ni jasmine sa balikat ko.
“Thank you love for coming with me para makita at masabi ko sa papa mo na hindi kita pababayaan at iingatan kita palagi kahit na alam ko na ayaw mo sana pumanta doon” sabi ko then I kiss her forehead.
She smiled. “I love yo,u Davina Marshall”
Tumayo ako ng maayos so I can face her I look at her with all the love that I can give
“I love you most, Jasmine, today, tomorrow, and everyday”
