Letters of Love and Support
As James navigated his first year at Hogwarts, his parents, Harry and Ron, made sure to stay connected with him through letters. They wrote to him regularly, sharing updates about their lives, encouraging him in his studies, and sending words of love and support.
James cherished these letters, reading and rereading them whenever he felt homesick or overwhelmed. Harry and Ron's words reminded him of the strong bond they shared and gave him the strength to face any challenges that came his way.
One evening, as James sat in the Slytherin common room, reading a letter from his parents, Draco approached him with a curious smile. "Another letter from home?"
James nodded, a smile lighting up his face. "Yeah, they write to me all the time. It helps."
Draco sat down beside James, glancing at the letter. "Your parents care a lot about you, don't they?"
James nodded enthusiastically. "They're the best. They always know what to say to make me feel better."
Draco's expression softened, a thoughtful look in his eyes. "You know, James, I think they would be proud of you no matter what house you were sorted into. You're a strong and determined young wizard."
James looked at Draco, feeling a surge of gratitude. "Thanks, Draco. That means a lot."
Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of an owl carrying a letter addressed to Draco. Draco opened the letter and read it with a mix of surprise and warmth. It was from Harry and Ron, expressing their gratitude for Draco's kindness and support toward James.
Draco smiled, a sense of pride and appreciation washing over him. He had grown fond of James and felt a sense of responsibility toward him, wanting to see him succeed and thrive at Hogwarts.
