Summary
Regulus is overseas in Europe fighting World War 2, and James is in America training new soldiers. They keep in touch through letters, sent from the heart of enemy lines, through tragedy, heartbreak and eventually a happy ending for them all.

Dearest Regulus,
We have the soldiers training with weapons, and you'd be surprised on how many still don't know how to fire a gun. Good luck on your march to Poland, though I know I have already said this before. People in America are finally starting to see the injustice and horror that have been done to the Jews. I am so proud of you for trying to stop it. I miss you so much. Marlene sends word to the newspapers every day, trying to get them to publish these truths but she has had no luck on the matter. Keep trying and keep working
