Summary
Regulus is overseas in Europe fighting World War 2, and James is in America training new soldiers. They keep in touch through letters, sent from the heart of enemy lines, through tragedy, heartbreak and eventually a happy ending for them all.

Dear James,
I wish you well on your job. Remus's health has slowly started to get better, and it is quite wonderful. We have been able to move quicker now. We march on steadfastly, and plan to go through Switzerland and Austria to avoid passing through Germany. We have gotten reports from Berlin, that the Germans have started drafting boys as young as 17 to fight. They suffered huge losses at the battle of Stalingrad, and we carry hope that this may be a turning point in the war. For now, we have a job to do.
