Summary
Regulus is overseas in Europe fighting World War 2, and James is in America training new soldiers. They keep in touch through letters, sent from the heart of enemy lines, through tragedy, heartbreak and eventually a happy ending for them all.

Dear Reggie, We rejoice to hear that Remus is safe, though Sirius has worked himself into a fit of worry. We pray Remus recovers quickly. Good luck on your journey to Poland, and be safe. I got a group of new recruits to train for the war, and most of them aren't good, but they just need more training. A few of them are excellent, they will be ready soon. They work relentlessly, day after day to be good enough to join the war. I miss you so much.
