Summary
Regulus is overseas in Europe fighting World War 2, and James is in America training new soldiers. They keep in touch through letters, sent from the heart of enemy lines, through tragedy, heartbreak and eventually a happy ending for them all.

Dear Regulus,
Your letters continue to scare me and I worry about you. The army issued me with a job, to train the new recruits to aid the war efforts. Sirius misses you and Remus every day, though he doesn't show it much. Mary and Marlene send their love. Dorcas too, though she is quite busy trying to get enlisted in the army. She wants to help. We all do. We worry quite a bit, and I can't wait to see you. Give us word from Lily and Remus as soon as possible. Stay safe, I love you.
