Chapter 3
Due to the loud volume of the door swinging open, Snape lost control of his wand. It clattered to the ground loudly, and before Snape knew it, so did James Potter…
Whoops. Oh well.
“JAMES!” Lupin’s voice echoed into the empty night. Snape stood frozen, wondering what the fuck just happened. Clearly, Lupin had faster reflexes, as he quickly pulled out his wand and muttered a levitation spell to bring Potter back up.
He landed on the floor of the tower with a soft thud, panting loudly, his glasses completely gone, most likely on the grass below them. Snape prepared for the rage of one Remus Lupin, but he quickly realised that he wasn’t mad. He accio’d Potter’s glasses and whispered something to him, the boy nodding and leaving the tower.
“What the fuck was that?” Lupin questioned, souinding more confused than mad.
“You scared me, I didn’t mean to drop him!” Snape spat back defensively.
Lupin ran his hands over his face before giving him a very stern look. “Look, I get what we did was pretty shit, but you can’t fucking kill him!”
“I wasn’t going to! I was just meant to scare him a little! It’s not my fault you barged in!”
“You still don’t dangle someone off the fucking Astronomy Tower Snape. What if we didn’t catch him in time?!”
Snape just stood still, staring at the ground. Lupin sighed frustratedly, walking away from Snape and towards the door.
“Look, Snape, if you want to us to apologise we will, you don’t have to kill one of us!”
Snape saw red. He was angry. His vision went red when he was angry.
