Annabeth's POV :
I was busy preparing the gift for Percy for our 6th anniversary which was tomorrow but the thing that was nudging me continuously was that he hadn't asked me out yet. I was starting to think that he forgot about it. Then he entered my dorm so I quickly hid the present and asked him "What are you doing tomorrow?"
I had high hopes that he would remember at the last moment and wish her on time but he said "Ughh I know, I know I have a maths test tomorrow and I should study for it but let me rest for some time, not everyone is as studious as you wise girl"
I became a bit sad but got into a playful mood because of him and started joking around. After an hour or so I told Percy to go to the library and that I would meet him there in 15 mins with my maths book and that I would help him study. Hearing that I would be there he happily agreed and went out.
After studying both of them had dinner and said bye to each other and went to their own dorms and slept off.
In the morning I told Percy to meet up after the exam but he said that he would be busy god knows doing what. Then after lunch, he hurried off to swim. I was too disappointed to care cuz I know he is very forgetful but when it comes to me he usually remembers shit so I became mad at him and called him up. HE IGNORED ME! HE FUC-ING IGNORED MY CALL! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!
I just gave up and went to my dorm and took a long nap. I woke up at 6:30 and saw a beautiful black dress with grey owls adorned on it. There was a box on my study table with a note on it. The note said:
Hey sleepyhead,
Get into the dress with the jewelry kept inside the box.

Chad is the annoying guy who always tries to either flirt or bully me. I never really understand what he's doing but whichever it is he fails miserably at it. Either I beat him up or Percy does. He's the only guy who thinks that he can break me and Percy up. Either way, he has never done something like this before but I would like to beat him up again whether or not I was wearing a pretty dress or not didn't matter so I just went out as is. I didn't change into the dress but I did keep the dress as it was too pretty to be given back to that jerk.
Once I went out I checked but no one was there. Then I saw a light coming from a corner and found Percy wearing a confused face and looking at me. I understood and went to him and whispered "If you wanted me to wear the dress you should have written your name, not Chad's."
He made a puppy face and said "But then the surprise would have been ruined." I smirked at him. After dinner, we sat on the ground and looked at the stars and he asked me "Did you like the roses?" I answered softly "Yea, I saw them." He gave me a teasing look and a sweet smile. I shrugged it off by saying "Yea yeah whatever let me sleep goodnight." and ran away smiling like an idiot not wanting to admit that I was just too happy to notice the flowers.
