The End (of Bellatrix Lestrange)
The room darts between focusing on the two battles, the one between Molly Weasley and Bellatrix and Voldemort’s three-on-one. Admits the crowd huddled on the walls, a voice rung out, a hard, loud, scratchy voice hoarse from what it seems screaming, “BELLATRIX!!” It rung. The figure screaming squeezes its way out, shoving George Weasley’s arm away from them, it was Orion. At the sound of the voice, both women’s gaze break and their eyes land on the boy. Orion’s body was disheveled from the war, to hiding in the early bits, to fighting currently, his body was unkempt and riddled with blood. Scars line the once pale, slim face as he began yelling once more, “Back away from her!”. Mrs.Weasley tried to shove Orion out of battle, given his deepened injuries, but in response he glared at her, “I have more grievances than you can imagine with her, leave her to me.”. With those words, she backed away partially, wand still raised at Bellatrix. Orion had grown closer to the two, his wand outstretched, directed towards Bellatrix.
“My dearest son,” Bellatrix’s crooked smile twisted its way back up as Orion stared in her face, hatred and malice boiling in every fiber of his being. “You have no right to call me your son,” he spoke, voice outstandingly calm, but hatred seeped in his words. Orion was shed in a new light with his actions, for all Harry knew of him was that he was a gentle soul whom never picked a fight unless family he loved was involved, but now he was the one stepping up to Bellatrix Lestrange, his insults at the tip of his tongue. “Nor to Cygnus,” Orion glanced gently to his older brother who was now at the face of the crowd, watching as his living family members dueled, “you were no mother to the both of us, just because you are blood gives you no right to say that!”. Orion swept forward with a slash, stumbling Bellatrix back. Surely, he wouldn’t kill his mother, would he?
“You abandoned your sons for the dark lord! You had your own sister burden your children while you sat in Azkaban!” In both phrases, Orion thrashed his wand at Bellatrix, who only blocked them. She was in amazement. The son she hadn’t seen in over 16 years now stands in front of her, trying to kill her. How ungrateful, she must think. “You were fine at Cissy’s, especially seeing as you liked her enough for her to be in your dreams!” Bellatrix retorted, finally slashing back. Her slash was blocked by one of Orion’s. “In which you only knew about because you tortured me! You were happy in Azkaban knowing you could torture your youngest with the images of dead loved ones! You caused every bit of me to be cold, you fucking ruined my life !” Orions frown folded up into a wicked smile, one resemblance of his mother, but his was out of desperation. Tears formed at the bridges of Orion’s brown eyes, and people watched as his yells began to be cries, “you ruined every aspect of my life making me believe I should never care for a single person ever! You made me believe I didn’t deserve love, that they were all to leave me in the end! You made me scared to live!”.
“And after all of that, you think you can call me your child?! That I am your son?! That you’re my mother?! You don’t deserve that title, especially since you stripped me of the only family I ever had!!” Orion’s last hate-filled statement ended with a multitude of thrashes, all blocked by Bellatrix, but it was evident Orion was moving closer to her. “You killed my dad, the one who actually cared for me, you killed Sirius Black!! And now, your people have killed my father, Remus Lupin, the one pulled me in and saved me from you monsters!” Orion’s eyes were filled with tears at this point, the wand moving on its own as he stared at Bellatrix. “You think that monster was your father?! That blood traitor your dad?! That,, disgusting blood traitor and a half-breed half-blood?! Have they tricked you that well, my son?!” Bellatrix was grabbing at straws as she insulted Orion’s fathers, but he still inched closer, hatred never backing down. “YOU GOT WHAT YOU WANTED. THEYRE DEAD. STOP TRYING TO TAKE MY OTHER FAMILY AWAY!” Orion bellowed, thrashing his wand repeatedly at Bellatrix. It was unclear whom Orion was speaking of, let it be Cass, the only remaining Lupin, let it be Cygnus, his older brother who was tricked to the dark side, or let it be the Weasleys, the ones who took him in when he was with George. “The only reason I haven’t killed you yet is because you need to hear everything you’ve done to me, you’ve killed my spirits, then my fathers, and next you try for my only family left, what kind of vendetta do you have against me?” Orion was calm again, and now Bellatrix was backed to the wall. With one swift motion, Bellatrix’s wand was gone, discarded, and Orion stood over her body that was shaking below him, staring up at him. “You’re a sick person, no not even a person, you’re a parasite, who leaches off of other’s demises. I hope that death treats you horribly,” and with those words, Orion struck Bellatrix just at her heart, and a shriek emitted from her body reminiscent of Sirius’ when he entered the vail.
