James Fleamont Potter believed in soulmates. There was simply no other explanation for the way his parents loved each other, his entire life, they were completely in sink, unwaveringly in support of each other, utterly and unconditionally in love since they were 15 years old.
James, now 11 years old , couldn't wait to meet his soul mate.

Lily Jolene Evans didn't believe in soulmates, she prided herself on being a logical person and, logicly, even if soulmates existed, the statistical probability of actually ever meeting yours was very low. This was not to say that lily didn't believe in love, of course she did, her parents loved each other, they loved her and her big sister, and she loved them all right back. She loved her best friend, Severus. Lily believed in love, and at 11 years old, she couldn't wait to see all that the world had to offer.
