Wedding
“Oh, Vesper!” Delia gushed excitedly as she and Briar stepped into the room and saw Vesper fiddling with the sleeves of the dress he was wearing, he flushed as he turned away from Ezekiel to look at them.
“Do you think it's too much? Should I just wear the suit instead? I should probably just wear the suit, this was a bad idea” He muttered anxiously only to yelp in shock when Ezekiel whacked him in the back of the head.
“I will hit you again if you doubt yourself one more time” He threatened seriously and Vesper pouted slightly as he rubbed the back of his head.
“You look wonderful Vesper” Briar said warmly as he gently cupped the endermen hybrids cheeks, Vesper took in a deep breath before giving his brother a warm smile.
“The ceremony is about to begin you guys ready?” Arven asked as he poked his head into the room only to pause when he saw Vesper.
“You look amazing Ves” He complimented genuinely and Vesper smiled a little bigger in thanks.
“You ready?” Briar asked as he held his arm out for Vesper who took in another deep breath before picking up the bouquet of purple roses and linking his arm with Briar.
“Yeah let’s do this” He said confidently and the other four shared a smile before making their way out of the room, Arven went to take his seat while Delia and Ezekiel took the lead and Briar walked Vesper down the aisle.
Theo gasped in awe as he watched Vesper only to tear his eyes away when he heard someone take a picture and watched as Ezran slipped his phone back into his pocket.
“It’s for the scrapbook” He said in a poor imitation of Cyrus making Theo chuckle softly as he shook his head fondly before turning back to face Vesper who was now standing before him.
“Hi” He said shyly earning him a soft smile from the taller boy.
“Hi” He said back equally shyly which made Theo’s smile widen.
“Welcome, family, friends and loved ones. We gather here today to celebrate the platonic marriage of Vesper Glintwood and Theodore Hollows” Eric announced as the wedding properly began.
“I now pronounce you platonic husbands you may now…” Eric trailed off as Dawn whispered something in his ear and a fond smile appeared on his face.
“You may now headbutt the groom” He continued with a fond chuckle. Theo and Vesper grinned as they gently headbutt each other, the rings on their horns glinting brightly in the sunlight. The audience erupted into cheers while a few wiped tears away as they smiled brightly at the couple.
“That’s my nephew!” Eliza cheered happily as she bounced a little bit in place and Theo blushed a little as he waved at her shyly while Dawn and Caspian chuckled fondly.
“I think Gabriel might be crying” Dawn snickered as she gestured to her uncle and everyone got a good laugh as they saw Gabriel try to subtly wipe his tears away as he smiled warmly at this son.
“Let’s go join the others” Delia said sweetly and the others nodded as they made their way towards the rest of the crowd all of them beaming with happiness for the new platonic husbands. Eliza wasted absolutely no time zooming over and pulling Theo and Vesper into a tight hug.
“My boys” She said warmly as she smiled lovingly at the two who smiled back as they melted into her hug, soon being joined by Dawn, Caspian, Gabriel, Briar and Delia the two small families fully embracing the fact that they were now one big family.
“Let’s party!” Ezran cheered breaking up the tender moment and earning him a bunch of loud laughter and bright smiles.
