They'll All Die In The End

Peter died about 2 years after Sirius, in march of 1998, he was 37 years old. He regretted nearly every choice he had ever made.
Peter knew that if anyone ever told his story, he would be labeled as the evil backstabber who betrayed his friends, and Peter fully accepted that he had earned that title, it was true, and he felt awful for it, but there it was.
But was Peter Pettigrew truly evil, or was he just a scared teenager who made a series of bad decisions?
Peter was 19 when he took the mark, it was a moment of weakness, he had been caught, he was scared they would kill him, so he took it.
He regretted it instantly, but by then there was no backing out, no one ever just leaves the death eaters.
He never was as strong or as brave as the others.
In the end it was that weakness that killed him, too weak to leave, too weak to fully stay, and voldemort was no fool, he saw peter as a liability, and he was.
Peter was afraid to die, but he was not sad, he believed that he deserved this.
The last thing he saw before he died was the face of Harry Potter, who looked so like James, but with Lily’s bright green eyes.
“I took his parents from him” he thought, “I am the reason they are dead”
And then peter was gone
But it didn't matter, they'll all die in the end.
