Relief
Regulus p.o.v
I sat down on the chair that was occupied by Remus before taking my brothers hand in mine “You’ve to wake up brother, I don’t know how else to help you.”
“Reggie.” A hoarse voice calls my name. I look up from Sirius his hands only to stare at my brother bright grey eyes.
“Siri.” I sob before almost diving in his bed, clinging to his form “You’re here.”
“I am death right, this is heaven?”
“No you are very much alive, it worked.” I sob in his chest “I can’t believe it actually worked.”
“What did you do?” Sirius lift one of his hands to stroke my hair, something he used to do to comfort me when I was little. “I remember pain and you in the avatar state but nothing much after that.”
“When we went to the North pole and I met Narcissa she gave me a vial with water of the spirit oasis, the home of the ocean and moon spirit.” I explain to him “It had extraordinary healing abilities. I used everything I had on you. I wouldn’t let you die you stupid prick. I need you, I need my brother.” I look up at him “I might not say it a lot but I do love you brother and I can’t lose you.”
“Oh Reggie.” Sirius mumbles “I love you as well, you are my little brother, I will do anything for you.”
“Then live.”
“Of course.” He smiles before his eyes move to my cheek where the burn mark was located, I noticed his eyes then travel to my arms as he took in all the burns. “I should heal you.”
“You need rest.” I push him down on the bed “I will be fine, I have ointment for them.”
“When I feel better you will let me treat them, do you hear me.”
“Of course Sirius.”
“How are the others.” Sirius then asked as he realized it was only us in the room “they are okay right?” I recognized his voice getting higher as he starts to panic “Where is Remus, oh god where is James is he okay? And Dorcas? Or Lily?”
“Sirius calm down everyone is alive and well.” I reassure him “I forced Remus to eat something he hasn’t left your side ever since you got hurt, he will be back soon. Lily and Dorcas are with the Kyoshi warriors as we speak.” I sigh “I do not know where James is, Dorcas told me she worries about him, it seems that James blames himself for what happened to us. I was going to look for him after I made sure you were fine.”
“It isn’t his fault.” Sirius says “You have to help him see it, James has a habit of blaming himself even though it isn’t his fault.”
“I will talk to him.” I tell him “Then I will drag him here.”
“Good.” Sirius smiles looking tired
“You should talk to Remus as well.” I tell him “He is pretty shocked by what happened to you, especially since you almost died after your fight, resolve whatever is going on between us.”
“I will talk to him.”
“I glad you are back brother.” I hug him one more time until I heard the door creak open. I lift myself of from Sirius to see Remus standing in the doorway freshly showered . He dropped the tray with food he was holding when he saw Sirius staring at him from the bed.
“Sirius.” Remus chokes back a sob.
“Remus.” Sirius tries to smile at him
“I should leave the two of you alone for a moment.” I kiss my brother cheek before leaving the room. I should probably find James but before I could even walk out of the house I was tackled in a hug by Lily. We fell to the floor but she catched us with her wind.
“Sorry.” She laughs “I am just so happy to see you up and walking again.”
“It’s okay.” I grin “As am I”
“I was about to visit Mary and check up on Remus and Sirius.” She tells me.
“I would skip Sirius room if I were you, Sirius has just woken up and I think he and remus need some time together.”
“You are probably right.” She nodded until she registered what is meant. Her eyes widened as she looked at me “Did you just say Sirius has regained his consciousness”
“I did.”
“That is great news.” Lily sighs relieved “I really thought we were about to lose him.”
“As did I.” I tell her “I should tell the others he is awake.”
“You should probably talk to James first, he hasn’t been himself ever since we found the two of you. I will inform the others.”
“Do you know where he is?” I ask her.
“He spends his days in the harbour, sitting at the docks , starring at the water.” Lily sighs “ I think the water reminds him of you and Sirius and since he won’t allow himself to be near you, the water is the closest thing to the two of you.”
“I am going to look for him.” I reassure her.
“Good.” She nods “I think only you or Sirius an get through to him.”
I kiss her cheek “It’s good to see you again.”
“Stop it, you are making me blush.” She punches my shoulder “and I need all my affection to whoo Mary.”
“Ah right, the scary Kyoshi warrior leader.”
“She isn’t scary.” Lily grins.
“Well go bother her then.” I push her playfully.
“I will.” She answers “Dinner is in two hours, convince James to come. He also hasn’t eaten a lot since you passed out.”
“I am on it.” I answer before leaving.
