awakened to a vision, wait what?
James couldve sworn when he went to bed he was in the hospital wing and not where ever this is. James sat up looking around the remotely empty room, only two people stood before him in front of a fireplace, the room had a dark and empty aura to it, the walls were painted a forest green, two arm chairs sitting in front of a small table on each side, James turned his attention back to the two people in front of him. They both had blurred out faces, one was a male one female. James looked at the boy first, he had pale skin, scars littering his arms, he wore a sleeveless turtle neck, and black cargo pants, he also had pale blonde hair which shimmered in the dim light, James looked at the female, who had curly long ginger hair, tanned skin, and seemed to be wearing a ankle length blue dress. James jumped as the boy spoke first "Selene are you sure it is wise to send Dumbledore for this quest? i mean, that Potter boy, it may be hard to read his mind" the boy said, speaking to the female "of course Cain, its the greatest idea ive ever had, Dumbledore being Headmaster of Hogwarts only makes it easier, plus that Potter wouldnt know what hit him, especially if its his oh so trusted Headmaster" the girl- Selene spoke, in a grouchy voice that sounded like she had smoke 20 packs of cigarettes the boy- Cain only sighed, Cain seemed hesitant even with the reassurance, "fine but, how can we trust him? he favors the Potters" Cain said having crossed his arms Selene only groaned "stop your bloody worrying! Albus is on our side idiot! he wont betray us!" Selene said, before a hoot echoed through the room, an owl rested on the window sill, waiting to be let in. James watched as Cain went to the window, opening it and the owl flew inside. "ah Zeus, your finally here, and a letter from Albus with you? good boy" Selene cooed at the owl, as it rested on her arm she had scretched out the owl hooted as Selene untied the letter from its foot before reading it out loud "my Dearest Selene, i have regret to inform you that i have not yet been able to see into the mind of my student James Fleamont Potter, i have been trying all week and to no avail." Selene read aloud, a snarl forming on her face at each word "URGH! i knew he was useless!, i swear to Merlin im going to storm Hogwarts myself and just kidnap him!, get the info myself" Selene growled as Cain spoke again "but Selene, the charms around the castle will stop you and alert the teachers" Cain said walking back over to Selene "oh what ever! as if i care if Albus cant, i can!" Selene said wickedly a wicked grin spreading across her face, "but Selene-" Cain started but was cut off by Selene "SILENCE CAIN! or do you want to be crucioed again?" Selene said, in a false sweet voice as Cain recoiled "no my lady" Selene smirked at that "Good boy~ now, fetch a house elf and make him write a letter back to Albus" Selene said, handing Cain the letter Albus had sent and Cain quickly left the room. Selene had turned back to her owl cooing at it as she placed it in a cage above the fireplace "oh Zeus, my lovely owl, if only you knew how to cast spells, that way youd be able to Avada Kedvra that stupid old man" Selene said before walking over to one of the armchairs, sitting down on it, Selene then picked up a book that James could not see the title of, not that James would care, maybe Remus would. James watched as Selene used her wand and with a flick of her wrist it opened to a page, James could see the headline of the page, but didnt get a chance to read it before everything around him started to swirl, sending him away from the scene. James landed on a marble titled floor, a long dinner table stretched out through the whole room, empty chairs all around the sides and ends. But James saw a pedestal that held a glass cage with a stone, a stone that took up half the space it was shining brightly in the light, making James slightly more blind without his glasses on. James could tell it was the color green, but before he could get a bitter look the door swung open and a man came crashing down onto the table, making the chairs scatter in other places, "HOW DARE YOU JOHNSON! YOU BETRAYED THE NMINISTRY!" another man roared, as flashes of light flashed through James's blurry vision "i had to Cornelius! you dont understand i had to keep the boy safe!, it is unwise to read a Potters mind!, you know the legend around that family!" The man that was knocked onto the table said, "i dont care Johnson!, Albus has strict orders to read the Potters boys mind! but he had failed! and it was up to you to polyjuice into the Lupin boy and trick him and use Legilimency on him!" Cornelious shouted, but the room swirled again, but this time it felt like James was falling, falling down before he had woken up in the Hospital wing once again, a figure sitting in a chair beside his bed, a very VERY familiar figure "Regulus?"
