Right before the full moon Remus would get so antsy and short tempered.
It was hard to explain the pain he felt before transforming but it was like he was all bruised and there was no way for him to get comfortable.
When he was alone in bed the night before a full moon, sometimes he'd cry out of frustration and anger.
It was worse when he would take it out on his other friends which was often.
It was hard to focus on being nice when he was in so much pain.
Most people would just give him space when he was in a bad mood, but not Sirius.
Sirius thought he was perfect, he never gave those looks of judgment.
One night it was late and Remus' pain was bad he told Sirius to get lost and all Sirius said to him was.
"You can yell at me, hit me and be mean to me all you want moons but I promise you I am not going anywhere, ill still be here."
It had taken Remus all of 5 seconds to start crying into Sirius' shoulder and didn't stop until he fell asleep with Sirius running his finger through Remus' hair to sooth him.
