"Those people are my family James." regulus said in a rather harsh tone.
"Family doesn't hurt you reg." James said reaching out a hand to hold the side of regulus' face.
"You don't have to be scared Jamie, I'll be fine." regulus said as he pulled his face away from James' soft palm.
"That's bullshit regulus and you know it." James said raising his voice a little.
"I've always been fine James." regulus spoke with pools of water forming in his eyes.
"Surviving and being fine are not the same thing regulus." James said looking into his lovers eyes with sadness.
