How to not lose my mind when I am with you

Remus

The arrival of the Campers went well, he showed them around as much as possible and helped some more little children get their things sorted out, like doing their beds, putting things on their wall, and stuff like that.

He was quite exhausted at the end of the day so after dinner he sat outside enjoying the warm weather before it would be colder in the night, when he saw a man walking over to him. He doesn’t quite remember since he has only seen him in passing but he guesses that his name is Grant.

He sits down next to Remus and smiles at him “Hi, think we haven’t talked much yet” he says in a friendly tone as he eyes Remus up and down”

“Oh, well yes. But that would be because we have had so much to do till now” Remus said with a little laugh.

Grant nodded and still looked at him “So, are you single, Remus?” he asked. Remus was caught off guard by it but quickly recovered when a sudden chuckle broke out of him
“Well, yeah I am”

Grant's finger slightly brushed his “hm well, I just wanted to say that you caught my eye from the moment I first saw you, and I thought that maybe you wanted to hang out sometime, eat together, or go on a walk or…whatever you want”

Remus hesitated, and out of the corner of his eye, he saw Sirous standing there frozen and watching them.

Remus quickly pulled back his hand which was just a moment before held by Grant, “Oh sorry Grant…I just don’t need something like this at the moment…” a lie, a really bad lie but it seemed Grant didn’t notice, since he sighed and his body buckled up a little “well it was worth a try at least, no?” he said before standing up and walking away leisurely, having left Remus to sit alone again.

“Asshole” Remus muttered to himself “trying to get with me but after a little rejection he walks away as if it was nothing”

Remus then looked at where Sirius was standing just a moment before, but he was long gone again.

Sirius

He knows he shouldn’t feel like this, he doesn’t even know why he feels like it. But he hates Grant and despises him even though he was only nice to Sirius up until now.

Why was he holding Remus’ hand like that why did he laugh and smile at Remus like that, and why DID Remus laugh back?

Dorcas

Dorcas found Marlene Extremely Cool, she didn’t talk much but when she did talk it was about her favorite band, singer, city, and song. Dorcas wanted to know everything about Marlene.
Of course, that was because she was cute, but also kinda badass and hot, very extremely hot, but that might just be the lesbian inside her talking.

Dorcas watched Marlene from afar, how she helped a little child put on a bandage because it tripped (Dorcas laughed so hard when it happened, she was a little embarrassed).

Anyway, Dorcas makes her way over to Marlene as she gives the little girl a high five before it runs off again. “Hey there!” She says as she stands next to Marlene.

She looks at Dorcas and her smile eases as she sees her “Hi”

“Hi,” Dorcas said again but then looked away quickly because she was a little embarrassed.

Marlene chuckled “Everything okay? Or do you need something?” She said with a friendly smile.
“Oh no, everything’s alright, I just wanted to check on you”
Dorcas quickly put in.

“Well, do you wanna eat together then?” Marlene asked and Dorcas could only nod because her voice suddenly died down from the smile Marlene was giving her.

They walk to the eating hall together where everyone else is already sitting, Dorcas and Marlene sit down on the other side of the table Remus and James.

Remus

Remus looks down at his food and plays with it, not eating anything.

“Hey Remus, do you wanna come to the party tonight? Sirius and I thought it would be pretty cool, "James said, then looking at Dorcas and Marlene “You can come too, of course!”

Dorcas and Marlene looked at each other “Yeah sure why not, could be fun!” Marlene said

James smiled brightly “Nice! And you Remus?” He turned to him

Remus was feeling unsure “Oh..uhm..sure I guess, if Lily is coming too,” he said looking at her, she also looked up and then heard her name “Hm?”He made a sound

“Are you coming to the party as well?” Remus asked again “Oh sure! This is gonna be fun!” Lily said with a happy smile

“Then I wanna come, and Pandora will go as well!” Mary cut in. Pandora nodded with a happy smile.

Remus turned to James “Well, then let's have that party”

Sirius

The party was alright, there was just a little alcohol, what Sirius and James brought from home, and surprisingly what Marlene brought too.

He came back from the bathroom and saw that Remus was sitting alone on the couch, holding a glass of…something.
So Sirius walked over and sat down next to him.

“Hi, why are you sitting alone?” He asked

“Oh the others are playing beer-pong, and I am bad at such games so I just decided to not play along,” Remus said with a smile. Sirius looked at him “Well if you aren’t playing I am not playing as well, wouldn’t want you to be lonely”

Remus smiled at that and turned more to Sirius, his arm resting on the back of the couch, “Well…why did you come and be a supervisor? You don’t seem to be the type to exactly want to look after children”
Sirius hummed “Yeah well, I did some stuff and may have gotten some problems with the police and they said I have to do some public service, so now I am here”

Surprisingly Remus started laughing “Why is that something I was expecting though” he said laughing even more. Sirius just watched him with a smile, secretly admiring him.

“Say Remus, are you perhaps interested in men?” Sirius asked. Remus quickly looked at him and crooked his head to the side “How did you ever guess?” He said smiling

“I didn’t,” Sirius said and put his hand on Remus, brushing his palm lightly with his fingers. “But you know, I would like to see if you like me too” he murmured. Remus looked him up and down and then behind him where everyone else was, still focused on the beer-pong. Remus then slowly took Sirius’ hand in his and pulled him up to his feet with him “Well, then why don’t we go to our Cabin and see?”

Mary

Mary wasn’t exactly focused on the game, well at least not when she or Lily were playing. So of course she saw how Remus and Sirius left together, hand in hand like a romantic couple about to run off into the sunset.

She turned to Lily and lightly tapped her to show her what she had just seen and she snickered as she saw Remus escaping with Sirius “Maybe we could go to you know, we have all the time in the world” Mary whispered to Lily.

Lily blushed a little “Shut up!” she said with a laugh.

Mary did indeed shut up after that and watched all the others, marlene and Dorcas were laughing and drinking together grant sat alone playing on his phone, and James was still trying to win beer-pong (even though no one was playing anymore, only him), and in the last corner, she looked she saw Xeno and….Pandora? That is something she didn’t expect at all but I guess everything can happen, especially this summer it seems.
