How Do We Find Them?
You looked as your stepmother's house came into view. “They aren’t here yet?”
“No,” Regulus said as he opened the doors to your carriage. “They’ve only just left. I’ve been keeping an eye on them using my magic.”
“Thank you, Regulus.” You hugged him, he was smiling when you pulled back. And you saw Evan standing next to him, so you hugged him. “Thank you, Evan.”
They both bowed to you as they said in unison, “it has been our pleasure, your highness.”
When you went to tell them that you weren’t and probably would never be royalty in any way, you had been magically transported to your room. You looked outside and both the men and the carriage had disappeared.
By the time you got changed, your stepmother and stepsisters had arrived home. You quickly hid your outfit, shoes and jewellery, before silently going to bed. Of course, your stepmother came up, but she only found you lying in your bed, asleep. Though you weren’t actually asleep, you were acting like you were, knowing you could fool her.

James and Lily waited in the family room just talking to each other about the sweet person they’d met and knowing they were the thing that had been missing.
It wasn’t long before the King and Queen entered with someone following behind them. A beautiful blonde woman who looked like an angel.
Both James and Lily stood up, upon seeing them, hoping they had information regarding the owner of the ring.
“James, Lily,” Euphemia said before gesturing to the woman who walked in with them. “This is Pandora. She’s a fairy godmother. She was mine before I met your father, James.” She paused and leaned against Fleamont who wrapped his arm around her, kissing the top of her head.
“Hello Prince James, Princess Lily,” she said in a melodic voice.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Pandora,” James said as he held out his hand, which Pandora shook. She turned to Lily and shook her hand too, before bowing slightly.
Pandora said in a voice that sounded dreamy as she held out the hand holding the ring, “You’re looking for my latest charge, the one who was wearing this ring?”
“Yes,” Lily said as she cuddled into James’ arms. “They were wearing that ring, but it fell off. We want to use it to find them. Is that possible?”
“Yes, I can help with that. I can’t take you to them, but,” Pandora said as she waved her hand over the ring, making the ring glow, “the magic on it, as well as the magic I’ve put on it just now will help you find them. The only person who it will fit on is your love.”
She handed it to James who was closest to her and he took it, holding it tightly. With tears in his eyes and in Lily’s, they both whispered, “thank you.”
“You’re welcome,” Pandora said as she bowed to them. “Have a wonderful life, Lily, James.” She turned to Fleamont and Euphemia. “I am so happy to see the beautiful family you created.” She bowed to them. “It was lovely to see you again, Euphemia. Take care of her, Fleamont.” With that, she turned and walked out, disappearing before their eyes.
James was amazed and stunned at seeing fairy magic before him. Once he stopped looking at the door, he turned to Lily. “Tomorrow, we’ll start looking.”
Lily smiled. “I agree. We should get some rest first.”
