Meeting the new student
Tom was board. He liked Hogwarts but it got boring once in a while. So Tom is reading at the Slytherin table trying to ignore Malfoy and black arguing across from him. Tom can hear Dippet announcing that they have new student, but Tom doesn’t pay attention. Who cares about another annoying student? It’s probably another Gryffindor. But suddenly Tom hears the sorting hat yell Slytherin. Tom huffs and he glances at the student. The new student Harrison Peverell doesn’t look like your typical student. He has scars on his hands and his face. Tom narrows his eyes and he watches Peverell sit down.
“Hm, interesting.” Tom mutters to himself. But of course malfoy heard him. Malfoy follows where Tom is looking and he raises his eyebrow. “You find the new student interesting, Tom?” Malfoy ask curiously. Tom eye twitches and he clenches his fist under the table as he glances at malfoy. “Yes I do. Is that a problem, malfoy?” Tom says in a harsh and threatening tone that makes malfoy tense up and he immediately shakes his head. Malfoy goes quiet and Tom goes back to watching the new student.
Eventually dinner ends and everyone has to go to their dorms. Tom walks with his group back to the dorms. malfoy and black are arguing again, walburga is gossiping with lestrange and Rosier is just talking peacefully with Avery. They eventually make it into the slytherin common room. Tom sits down in his chair while the rest of his group sits on the couches around him. While they all talk, Tom reads peacefully when suddenly Tom sees the new student walk in. Tom smiles charmingly and calls out to the new student. “Peverell, right?” The new student freezes for a moment before he glances at Tom. Tom smiles charmingly at him while Tom group glances at Tom in confusion. “Yes it’s Harrison Peverell.” Harrison replies to Tom with an annoyed tone. Tom raises his eyebrows and he smirks “it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Tom riddle” Tom says charmingly as he waves his hand towards his group. “And these are my friends, that’s Abraxas malfoy” malfoys sits up straighter and he grins at Harrison as he waves. Tom rolls his eyes and continues “this is Orion black.” Black smirks and he winks at Harrison. “That is walburga black over there gossiping with lestrange.”
walburga and lestrange both look up confused when they hear they hear their names. Tom just continues “and the last two are Rosier and Avery” rosier smiles at Harrison while Avery rolls his eyes and waves.
Peverell just watches them blankly. He then nods and walks away. Tom clenches his first and he narrows his eyes as he watches Peverell walk away. “How rude he didn’t even say hi or smile!” Black says overly dramatically as he leans against malfoy. Tom eyes twitch’s in annoyance. He’s fucking surrounded by idiots! Tom scoffs and he leans back against his chair.
Two hours later. It’s quite late now, so Tom and his group go into their shared dorm room. Tom smirks as he realizes that they are sharing with the new students. Peverell seems to have already gone to bed. His bed curtains are closed so they can’t see. Tom rolls his eyes and he goes over to his bed as he takes off his shirt. He gets in his bed and closes his bed curtains. Tom sighs and he closes his eyes. today was boring, hopefully tomorrow Peverell will be more interesting.
