The Spider infested Cruise; Part 4

***Cruise day 7****

Yelena and Kate woke up, once again glancing at the clock, finding it was not the 7th, but the 8th of April.

They now had finally figured out what was happening before they had been hypnotised. 'We need to find Julie.' Kate stated, and Yelena agreed.

They quickly exited their suite, running along the walkways, searching for any sign of Julie. 'Kate, Yelena!' they heard someone shout from behind them. They turned, smiling, to find Julie standing there, next to an upset looking latina girl, Rebecca Kate remembers. 'Excuse me for a sec, Beck?' she asked her friend, who nodded, waved at Kate and Yelena and made off for another part of the ship.

'What do you remember?' Kate immediately questioned Julie: whom just shrugged: 'He hypnotised me. Apparently his uncle was killed by some rich dude, who then only got a really short sentence, so now he is pissed at every single person who possesses more than a dollar.'

Yelena rolled her eyes: 'Makes me think of that one show where the guy says...'

'"Cool motive, still murder."' the trio says all at the same time, then burst out in laughter.

'I loved that show!' Yelena cries out, Kate and Julie nodding.

'Oh hey, why was your friend so down?' Kate questioned.

'Her ticket to a diamond exhibit disappeared the day before yesterday.' Julie explained, and Yelena raised her eyebrows:

'Coincidence or...'

Julie scrunched up her face: 'It would be a good place to strike if you want money. Also it would have been easy to get the ticket since I'm Rebecca's ...' she trailed off as she stared at someone standing behind Kate and Yelena.

'Why don't the two ladies turn around then?' a sweet voice asked the two agents, who couldn't help but turn: it was as if they weren't even in charge of their own bodies any more.

Both turned. Both saw his eyes. And both, once again, fell into hypnosis. Peter smiled:

'Now, Julie, why don't you take that cellphone over there in your pocket, and call your friend Rebecca, tell her you have a lead on who stole her ticket.'

Julie nodded monotonously and dialed Rebecca's number. It rang once then was picked up:

'Hey Julie!'

'Hey.'

'You okay, you sound a bit weird.'

'Nah, I'm fine. I have a lead on who stole your ticket.'

'Really! Great, where are you?'

'I'm with Kate and Yelena still where you last saw us.'

'Okay, be there in a bit.'

'Cool.'

Julie hung up the phone and put it back in her pocket, awaiting further instructions from Peter, who smiled: 'Act natural, if she senses something is off and tries to run for it, keep her here by all costs.' The trio of girls nodded and stood by idly as they waited for Rebecca to return.

Within only a few minutes they heard Rebecca running up to them: 'Hey, I heard you guys had information regarding...' she trailed off, having caught a glance at Peter's eyes. She slowed down right in front of him and slowly her pupils retracted to tiny dots, matching those of Yelena, Kate and Julie.

Peter smiled: 'And thus my army groweth. All go back to your rooms and sleep. Next time: we strike.' He then chuckled: 'Man, did I accidentally create a whole women's team?! I'm going to be famous!'

***Cruise Day 9****

(Day 7 was kinda uneventful so I'm just combining these two. Causing for this part to be slightly longer, but oh well: It's a Saturday, I have time. That is until I need to feed the hoards of friends my younger brother invited over for a sleepover (its my turn to cook this evening, for a grand total of 10 people XD))

Kate woke up with a shock, glancing at the clock: it was the 10th of April: this was getting annoying.

'Look who's up,' Yelena taunted, 'You Americans tend to sleep for sooooo looooong.' she added, her accent very thick when pronouncing the words so and long.

Kate smiled, then it dropped: 'What do we do? We have no way to contact SHIELD, every time we we go on deck we end up hypnotised! We're basically sitting ducks.'

'More like floating ducks.'

'Not the time.'

'No, I'm serious!' Yelena cried out: 'The shore isn't that far, we can make it if we steal one of those motorised lifeboats. You know, the ones they use when someone falls overboard, and they need to go look for them! We steal one of those, head to shore, and contact SHIELD!'

Kate nodded slowly, thinking hard: 'There is one only a few metres from our cabin, we could make for it quickly and then steer it to shore.'

Yelena clapped her hands together: 'Let's do this!'

'Wait, what about Julie and Rebecca?'

'We can't go looking for them, if we do, we get hypnotised again. People might even get hurt this time!'

Kate nodded: 'Julie can look after herself: she'll be fine. Odds is Parker will leave her alone as long as we do.'

'It's decided then: we hijack a lifeguardboat! This is so much fun!' Yelena cried excitedly, making Kate smile: nothing would ever dampen that Russian's spirit.

***The Raft, 12 hours later***

Nick Fury sat back in his chair. It was nearing midnight. They hadn't heard from their two agents in days. Agent Hill was typing on a laptop close by, the pale blue light illuminating her face in a creepy manner.

An agent entered the room, panting and out of breath, making both Fury and Hill stand up from their seats and approach him: 'Agent Smith, what is it?' Fury demanded to know.

Agent Smith finally caught his breath and looked up; 'It's agents Bolova and Bishop sir, they're back.'

Fury turned to Hill quickly, then back to the agent in front of them: 'Where are they?'

'Central control room.'

'Let's go.' Fury told Hill, as they raced down the corridor, silently praying that their fears were incorrect, and that they would find Bolova and Bishop in their right minds.

Storming into the central control room of the raft, they saw agents surrounding Bolova and Bishop, who were standing uncomfortably in the centre of the circle.

Director Fury pushed forward, turning to face Bolova and Bishop, he breathed in deeply, steeling his nerves and turned to Agent Bolova: 'Agent Bolova, do you know who I am?'

Agent Bolova nodded: 'Yes sir, you are Director Nick Fury. We can assure you we are currently in our right minds.'

Agent Hill turned to the director, raising an eyebrow: 'Shall I start Procedure Really?'

'Who named that procedure?' Fury asked in annoyance.

'Barton did sir.'

'So that's why it's so stupid, and yes, initiate it.' he whispered back, then turned back to his two agents: 'You know the procedure...' he started.

Bishop smirked: 'Yeah: Procedure Really?' she told him with a chuckle.

Director Fury smiled: she was joking, hypnotised people didn't do that right. He nodded: 'Yeah: I will be changing that name soon. Just go with Agent Hill here, answer the questions truthfully, if you pass we will talk.' Both agents nodded, extending their arms so that cuffs could be put on them. Director Fury as he stepped back, dread filling his whole form. He tried to push it to the side: they are fine, they would be fine, everything would be okay.

***time skip forward brought to you by last living brain cell***

Director Fury smiled as he sat back against his chair. Bishop and Bolova had just finished their mission report, and they had discussed how to continue.

'Well then,' he told them, 'That's decided. I'm assuming you want to be a part of the group of agents who apprehend our dear friend Mr Parker?'

Both agents nodded as the director smiled: 'Very well then, let's get going!'

'Roger that, sir.' Kate and Yelena answered simultaneously, making Hill roll her eyes:

'If we didn't know you were in your right minds already, we would know now.' she grumped, crossing her arms, making Kate and Yelena smile even wider.

***Time skip back (I'm a confusing person sorry), to the cruise ship, just before sundown on the 10th of April***

Peter Parker strolled idly in a circle, waiting for Julie and Rebecca to return. He returned when he heard the drum of footsteps drawing closer. He looked up: 'Ah, miss Laura, Barbara and Sarah, how nice of you to join us.'

He looked them all in the eyes, working his magic. As he scrutinised the girls, making note of their appearance so he would recognise them for later. Laura was an Asian a girl with neatly combed hair, and an almost permanent smile, though it was dropping now that she was falling under his hypnosis. Barbara had stunning red-hair and looked much like Barbara Gordon from the Batman comics, Peter noted with a smile. Finally, there was Sarah, capturing his attention with her long brunette hair and lightning blue eyes.

Peter smiled as he felt them all under his grasp. 'Well, ladies,' he spoke: 'Congratulations, you will all be my accomplices in the heist of the century!' he told them excitedly, to which they only nodded. He smiled: he really had an all woman army now. He looked forward to everyone's faces as he stole that priceless diamond. He couldn't wait for those richies to pay. For pay, they must.
