Why you should never let Ron practice magic on his pet
Summary
Ron accidentally gets skipped when practicing spells on rats. So he has to use his own rat. That doesn't go to well.

The bell rings throughout the room calling out the start of class. Professor McGonagall stands at her desk two boxes on top, squeaking noises coming from them. She surveys the class for a moment before looking down at her roll call. Ron zones out ad she begins talking. His name being at the bottom of the list.

Ron jumps as a habd us slammed down in front of him on the desk. "... and that us why MR.Weasley, we need to pay attention during instruction."

"...I... erm... the roll." Ron starts stuttering out excuses.

"I have no Interest in your excuses Mr.Weasley. 5 points from Gryffindor. Now for those of you who weren't paying attention, Today we will be transforming rats into hairbrushes." Prof. McGonagall points to the squeaking boxes. "As you are." She says before sitting back down.

Parvati and Dean suddenly get, Ron must have missed their names being called to pass out the creatures. Ron takes Scabbers out of his pocket and places him on the open textbook. He looks down to see what the spell entailed. He looked on at the spell name "Homorphus" he muttered aloud softly.

Unfortunately as he looked up from the book he realized that he was still holding his wand and pointing it at his rat. Ron watched at there was a spark of light and suddenly Scabbers had started to shift. Clattering in the room came to a stop and everyone looked at the glowing ball of light shifting.

Suddenly on his desk there was a naked man. Professor. McGonagall, almost as if expecting it, transforms the text book under the rat of a man into robes. And quicks the ugly man throws on the robes and starts to scurry backwards until he hits the wall.

The hideous man starts to quiver. "P-please." Ron was taken aback at how gross the man seemed to be. He looked like a rat turned human. Which Ron supposed was an accurate description. He seemed to have a whisker like twitch and he had crazy in his eyes.

The man's hair seemed to be think and stringy. If he had his photo taken the camera would probably break.

As he started to stop moving McGonagall seemed to be staring at the man as if she recognized him. "I don't believe it, Peter Pettigrew."

The rat of a man suddenly grows still and whips his head towards the teacher.

The man, Peter suddenlfinds himself in binds. He can no longer move and he realizes it's because the teacher had binded him up. "You've been dead it doesn't make sense, clearly Sirius was innocent."

The prosses moved quickly Sirius was taken out of a jail and a proper trial happened. He was found to be innocent, of all crimes.

There was a teary 'reunion'. As harry didn't remember Sirius. And when Sirius found out about Harry's living situation when Ron let it slip that he rescued him let's just say the dursleys found themselves with one less household member.
