Down the Aisle
"Um we haven't talked about something, about the wedding."
Remus looks up to his fiancé fresh from the shower, he smiles at the sight.
"Yeah? What's that? Thought we had everything but the suits sorted?"
Sirius nods and sits next to Remus on the bed, the bright morning light almost blinding him. "Will I be walking down the aisle?"
Remus frowns, putting his phone next to him on the bed. "Didn't we agree that I walk down first then you? Or did you want something else love?"
Sirius leans onto Remus, he feels his hands stroking his hair gently.
"No, no my question was really about that I don't have anyone to walk me down the aisle, I don't have my parents, and Effie and Monty have passed."
Remus is suddenly ashamed of himself, he knew his parents would be walking him down the aisle, how did he completely forget about Sirius?
"I'm so sorry, we should have talked about it earlier. We can always get Lily, Marlene, James, even Regulus to walk you down?"
Sirius sighs softly, Remus knows Sirius will pretend it's not a big deal, but this situation breaks both if their hearts.
"I don't know, it doesn't feel right. But it's okay, still awhile until we can figure it out."
Sirius climbs off the bed and gives Remus a soft smile before leaving the bedroom not giving Remus time to answer.

Remus had decided to ditch the plans about going down the aisle with his parents, they will understand the situation, knowing it's the best for him and Sirius.
Now that Remus has officially sent them a message explaining the situation, neither Remus or Sirius have anyone to go down the aisle with.
So naturally they would go down together.
"Is that anything important?"
Sirius grins and shakes his head, closing his laptop. "What's up?"
Remus smiles sitting next to Sirius on their sofa, wedding only a week away.
"I have someone who wants to walk down the aisle with you."
Sirius gives him a confused look, they had talked more about the sitation but he didn't know Remus had actually asked people.
"Who?"
A small smile appears on Remus' face. "Me."
Sirius' face was hard to read, almost completely blank with slightly furrowed eyebrows.
"I don't understand? You're going with Hope and Lyall." Remus shakes his head slowly and kisses Sirius' forehead.
"I sent them a message, cancelling it and they were okay with it, so we can walk together."
A new expression appears on Sirius' face, a more happy, relieved one. "Really?"
Remus nods his head laughing and before he knew it Sirius was hugging him like he's never hugged before.
"You'd do that for me?"
"I'd trade the world for you."

And so they walk, hand in hand down the aisle.
Toddler Harry running in front with their toddler daughter Elia both throwing flowers everywhere.
Hope and Lyall front row, wearing the biggest smiles both for Remus and Sirius.
James, Lily, Peter, Marlene, Dorcas, Mary, Regulus, in their seats, some even crying.
Even though all of Remus' family was there, and three from Sirius' family, it still made his day beautiful.
Halfway down Sirius looks up at Remus, the biggest smile on his face. Remus looks down at him and squeezes his hand tighter.
Moments later they shared a kiss and we're officially married.
