Safe Space
Everyone has their own safe space, if that is deep in a book, with their favorite person, or a comfort movie.
Remus' safe space is Sirius, and it will always be Sirius.
Sirius can always tell when somethings wrong with Remus, when he's feeling a bit down. But Sirius will always know how to help him.
"Cmere love, what's up?"
Remus lets himself lay ontop of Sirius on the sofa. Sirius giggles wrapping his arms around Remus.
"What's turned your frown upside down?"
Remus smiles in Sirius' neck, how does the other always know?
"People just said stuff at work today" He mumbles not wanting to make a big deal out of it.
Knowing Sirius he'll make a big deal out of it.
"What have they said? Is it something about you lycanthropy?"
Remus shakes his head and feels a soft hand go up and down his back. He felt safe with Sirius, he wouldn't usually open up like this to anyone else.
"Talking about us"
Sirius frowns, "tell me sweetheart" he mutters gently.
"That I don't deserve you, out of your league, and I know it's stupid but I just-"
Sirius shushes him, "No, it's not silly, but do they really think I'm out of your league?" He laughs.
"Who's arms are you lay in now? Who's got my wedding ring on? Who do I want to spend the rest of my life with?"
Sirius pauses for a moment. "You, all you. Not any of those other stupid people okay? And that will never change"
Remus nods, he does actually feel quite a bit better. "Your kind of squashing me, are you moving anytime soon?" Sirius laughs under Remus.
Remus shakes his head not leaving Sirius. He moves his head to be facing Sirius and gives him a small kiss.
"Thank you"
Sirius smiles kissing him again. "Anything for you"
