Average Night
An average night in the Lupin household starts with Remus already in bed reading when Sirius strolls in for the night.
"I'll join you in a min, just gonna go to the bathroom." Sirius says with a wink to Remus (who rolls his eyes and continues reading).
After about five minutes Sirius comes strolling in again and takes off his tshirt and pants and crawls into bed in his boxers.
"Oh so now you look at me more than your book, when I'm half naked?"
Remus laughs but nods as he puts his book on his bedside table. "Well I'm too lucky to not admire your beauty."
Sirius giggles as they share a quick kiss before Remus turns his light off.
"I don't even get a good night?" Sirius asks once Remus had properly settled in bed with closed eyes.
"Good night my love, I will miss you so much for the next eight hours, i love you so so much and wish you the sweetest dreams."
Sirius laughs and slaps Remus playfully at the sarcasm. "I love you most."
Sirius turns his own lights off and closes his eyes to get some rest. But something's missing... Remus' arm is missing.
He feels around til he finds Remus' arms and wraps it around his body so Remus was spooning him.
"You can ask before dragging me around the bed to cuddle."
Sirius laughs. "Thought you were asleep." Remus laughs as well and kisses Sirius' head before actually going to sleep this time.
And they do sleep peacefully until 2am.
"Remus?" Sirius whispers to see if his husband was awake.
"Remus!" He whisper shouts again until he hears Remus groan slightly.
"What?" He replies with a slightly annoyed tone.
"I've got a new song idea where's your phone mines downstairs?"
Remus sighs and turns on his lamp and hands Sirius his phone. He opens the recording app and Remus tries to fall asleep again.
"Okay someone speaking french bla bla, don't you call him baby, we're not talking lately, don't you call him what you used to call me."
Sirius was fully sat up in bed at 2am singing his new idea into the recording app.
"And then something like 'la la la la la la'"
He hands Remus his phone back who grunts in return. "Remember to send me it tomorrow that'll be a great track I swear!"
Remus grunts again and turns the light off, going to cuddle Sirius again but he was still sat up in bed.
"I'm kinda hungry, wanna grab a snack?"
Remus closes his eyes and shakes his head. "Wanna sleep."
Sirius shrugs. "You do you." and crawls out of bed quietly to get a snack while Remus hopefully sleeps.
After a nice bowl of goldfish and scrolling on social media he wanders up again trying not to disturb Remus.
He places his phone on the bedside table (which he forgot downstairs when he went to bed the first time).
He crawls quietly into bed, surprised that he was being as quiet as he was, until...
"Ow Sirius what the fuck."
Sirius lifts his knee up off of Remus' hand. "Shit sorry I didn't mean to didn't see your hand love."
Remus grunts and turns over again making his back face towards Sirius. "Rude" he mutters quietly to himself.
Once both settled in bed Sirius wraps his arms around Remus, being the big spoon for once.
"Sorry if I can be a bit much, I don't mean to." He whispers, not quite sure if Remus was asleep or not.
He feels Remus hold his hand and whisper back. "You'll never be too much, I love you."
Sirius grins. "Love you most."
