i love david bowie too.
Rain dribbled down the side of the tattoo shop's window. It was miserable out today and the weather certainly reflected Sirius' mood. All day clients had been pushing his buttons and tap-dancing on his temper. First it was that terribly un-still client that had almost caused him to mess up what had taken him almost an hour to finish. Not to mention when he discovered he had no money on his account to pay for his lunch and that his phone was dead meaning there was nothing he could do about it until he got home. Marlene had kindly offered to pay for his lunch, but being stubborn and far too proud, he had refused. On the bright side however it was the end of his shift and as to treat himself after such a crap day he decided to head to the record shop across the street.
Quickly, he ran across the road as soon as the light turned green almost slippping as he did-clearly his shoes weren't built for this weather.
He entered the record shop, inhaling the familiar smells. Sirius always felt almost hypnotised when he entered the shop, like all problems and negativities were left outside once inside. A warm, soft voice broke him from his trance.
"Hello! I'm Remus, and am one of the workers here. Feel free To ask me for help if you need it."
Like a response Sirius felt a blush form on his cheeks. Sirius didn't just like the shop because of what it sold but also because of a certain somoene who did the selling. In Sirius' mind Remus was the most stunning person he had ever seen. He was tall, with a perfect set of hazel eyes that Sirius could drown himself in. He also had scars all over him giving him a mysterious and brooding look. his hair was brown and wavy and fell on his head in all the right places. His freckles looked like they had been placed by God himself and he had this shy smile that made Sirius weak in the knees.
Suddenely Sirius realised while he had zoned out, he had been staring at Remus the.whole.time. In a mixture of embarrasement and pure horror he blurted out:
"Okay, thanks really pretty guy."
Sirius could have died right there.
But Remus simply smiled a warm smile and walked off.
A few minutes later Sirius found himself nose deep looking at David Bowie records. Despite most people preferring the Hunky Dory or Diamond dogs albums, Sirius had always liked Ziggy Stardust and Space Oddity albums. His favourite song was always chaging but at the moment it was Lady Stardust. He liked how it referenced to how all those who were 'different' back then were seen. he found himself humming it as he scrolled.
Suddenely, the same warm voice stopped his train of thought.
"I like David Bowie too."
"Huh?" Sirius questioned.
"I said, i like David Bowie too."
Sirus turned too see Remus standing beside him.
Clearing his throat he asked, "What album is your favourite?"
Remus looked thoughtful for a minute, before replying, "Ziggy Stardust."
