Haunted

Healers rushed into the room, shoving everyone out of the way. George grabbed Fred's wheelchair and pulled him away from the bed. While Fred stared blankly at Hermione. Her body arched in a way that matched with someone undergoing the Cruciotus. That's when it hit him. Taking a deep breath, Fred concentrated on Hermione. He felt for her magic within him. It took him a moment, but he eventually found it, and gave it a sharp tug. The heart monitor stuttered, so he tugged again. He push some of his magic towards her. A warmth flowed through him and down the bond. Slowly, the monitors settled. Slowly, Hermione's body rested back onto the bed peacefully. Everyone froze, unsure what had caused her to go back to being normal. Yet Fred was already putting more and more pieces together. Fred sucked in deep breaths, sending more of his magic down the bond, motioning for George to push him forwards back towards Hermione. The moment he touched her hand, he was sucked back into her dream scape.

Hermione was sat on the back porch, a cup of tea in her hands as she looked out over the farm lands.

"Hello Mione." He said with a grin.

"Hello, Fred." She smiled back, sipping the tea slowly. "Too what do I owe the pleasure?"

"I was wondering if you could tell me about bonding spells?" He asked, taking a seat opposite of her at the little table on the porch.

She scrunched her brows together. "There are a few bonds, but I'm fascinated by soulmate bonding charms."

"Really? A hopeless romantic are you?" Fred teased.

"Some of the charms are performed at wedding ceremonies. Others are used to save those they love. One sided or not."

"What is one of the participants were in a coma? How would that effect the bond?"

Hermione thought through her words. "In theory, the bonded pair (again one sided or not) could wake the one in a coma. I would have to do more research on the specific charm that was used. From the book I read, the best way to decipher which bond it is, is to match the color that is listed for the spell."

Fred nodding, going through his own memories of the battle. He could remember a red spell wrapping around him. When he woke, he made a mental note to look through the book in the section of soul bonding spells, where the color of the charm is red. "How would one go about waking them though?"

"In fairytales, it's always with True Loves kiss." Hermione said with a grin.

"True Love's Kiss? What kind of rubbish is that?"

"I'll have to show you Sleeping Beauty one day on my DVD player."

"What's Sleeping Beauty?"

Hermione grinned at the confused look on Fred's face. "Sleeping Beauty is a story, in this case a movie, about a princess. The princess was cursed by an evil fairy to prick her finger on the spindel of a spinning wheel on her sixteenth birthday and die. Only for another good fairy to alter the curse, since that was all she could do. Instead if dying from the curse, she would fall into a deep sleep. Only the kiss of her one true love could wake her. That's the premise of the story."

"Well, what happens?" Fred asked, desperate to know of a way to wake Hermione up.

"You'll just have to watch it and find out." She grinned.

Then she was gone.

Fred and George forced Harry to take them to Andy's house to watch the Disney Classic, Sleeping Beauty. Tonks was just as eager to watch this, as she hadn't seen it since she was younger. As the movie played through, Fred paid extra attention to any mentions of true love, or True Love's Kiss. By the end of the movie, he now understood what he should try. But before he did, he wanted to look up the exact spell that Hermione used on him. And he found it, as it was the only Soul Bonding spell with red magic.

Amare Nisi:

The Spell itself means to love. It is a way for someone to bond with their true love. This spell can be one-sided, but it has consequences. If it's one sided, the castie will never be able to marry or have any other romantic partner. Most in these situation tend to leave those they have bonded with to their life. However in a two sided bond, the bond is equal on both parts. They can lend their magic to the other, share dreams, memories, feelings, even thoughts. It is encouraged not to used this spell lightly.

So, Fred waited, and waited for the perfect opportunity. He waited until he could actually stand and move around on his own, when he could be by himself with her. And he got it three weeks since the day he watched Sleeping Beauty. The monitors continued to beep consistently. He stood, bending forwards, and pressing his lips gently to hers. His whole body blazed as their magics merged together at the single touch of their lips. He slowly pulled back and waited, sitting on the edge of her bed and holding her hand tightly. He felt it before he saw her eyes fluttering. He felt something that had been asleep inside him, awaken. Then her eyes opened, narrowed in confusion.

"Well hello, Arora." He spoke gently with a grin.

"Fred?"
