Devi POV

Devi sat up in her bed, the alarm sounding again. Crap, that probably scared the other girls. She stood up and put on a simple outfit: a white knit sweater, jeans and Doc Martens. She practically snatched her school bag from the peg and rushed to the hall to get some breakfast. Unlocking the door, she heard a voice call out.

"Breakfast won't run away from you, y'know!"

It was a very posh accent, and she spun around on her heel.

"I know that, you dickhead."

"Wow, what a kind greeting. The name's Sirius, since you asked so politely."

Devi let out a bark of laughter.

"Sirius, like the star...? Right, anyways, I'm Devi. Great to meet you and all, but I'm so hungry that I'm tempted to take a bite of the wall. Bye!"

Once she finally arrived at the breakfast hall, she took a seat next to James, and across from the lanky boy from yesterday, a boy with black hair who looked like Sirius, and Lily.

"Remus, Reg, Lily, this is my sister, Devi." James started, not before earning an elbow in the ribs.

"I can introduce myself, pendejo." She snapped.

The table all chuckled, apart from Reg, who was too busy sketching something to care.

"Woah, no need to get all mean! I'm a sensitive person." James whined, clutching non-existent pearls dramatically.

Devi grinned and stuck two fingers at him.

"Chúpamela."

James pretended to weep into a hankerchief, then stopped the act and continued eating his porridge.

9:30AM

Devi walked into her Photography 101 class, camera slung around her neck, and searched for familiar faces. Her eyes landed on Reg, and she sat down next to him, smiling gently.

The professor, a young woman with a sunny disposition, strode in and stood at the front of the class.

"Hello, class. Welcome to Photography 101. Today, we're gonna start off simple. Can anyone show me how to take a picture?"

2:34PM

Devi stumbled out of her final class. God, that was a drag. She couldn't wait to just flop down on her bed, maybe listen to some music, or write to back home.

She basically burst into the dorm, startling Lily. Devi snorted,a silent apology, and then sat down on her bed. She heard the old frame creak under her weight, having been used by many students before her. Putting some music on, Devi laid down and took a nap.

8:27PM

Devi woke up. Jesucrito, she had slept for a while. She checked her messages, seeing about 20 notifications from James.

She rolled her eyes, getting up and putting on an outfit she deemed suitable for going out.

The bus ride into town was full of chatting teenagers, the sound a cacophony of laughter and words. Devi finally got off and stepped into the pub, joining James and the people from breakfast at a sticky table.

"Dios, James, you didn't say it was a Wetherspoons. Have you lost your mind?" She whined, sitting down next to him.

"Well, it's the only pub in town! How else are we supposed to get drunk?"

"Good old liquor from the store?"

"Nah, where's the fun in that?"

"God, you fucking alcoholic."

2:21AM

Devi stumbled on the cobblestone roads, her arms around James and Lily's shoulders. She was really going to feel this in the morning, wasn't she.

She heard a random noise, singing- James was singing that song, by Blink-182. "What's My Age Again?" Devi groaned, knowing he would probably ruin it for her. Then Remus joined in, his words so slurred that you could mistake it for a babbling baby. Devi sighed and joined in, her voice equally as incoherent. Lily huffed, joining in, and leaving Regulus to just look at the group like they all had three heads.

Once their lovely rendition had finished, they all burst into applause (with their arms still around everyone's shoulders, stupidly, so each person got slightly choked.

*These people aren't that bad,* Devi thought. God, was she really believing that? Either way, what a great night out, eh?
