Hmmm an interesting crossover
Now that I am doing a Sherlock rewatch.
Sherlock's sharp barbs remind me a lot of Severus.
Now I'm just imagining what would happen if the two of them met.
Can you imagine if Severus knew Molly and witnesses Sherlock being horrible to her and Severus defends her because that is one of the few people from his childhood still alive and well and he will not have this ponce speak down to her.
Sherlock getting just a bit not good and suddenly experiencing real terror when faced with an angry Severus.
Molly talking Sev down in hushed tones and Sherlock being jealous.
Severus visiting the lab again when Sherlock, Lestrade, and John show up.
Cue astounded looks as Lestrade and John witness the violent verbal assault the two talk dark men are throwing at each other.
Severus obviously wins of course, leaving Sherlock baffled for once.
Then Sev gets ready to leave, its his last day in London, and Molly and Sev kiss each other on the cheek and that just makes Sherlock hurt.
Only for Hermione to burst through the doors announcing that she's ready to go if Sev is. They actually kiss and John and Lestrade are both taken a back because this young beautiful woman is with a man much older than her.
Hermione pulls Molly into a hug and make promises to visit again soon.
But Sherlock is giddy that Molly is apparently not romantically involved with the evil man that he can't quite read.
Then Hermione introduces herself politely to John and Lestrade. Then turns to Sherlock with a maniacal gleam that makes his heart turn to ice.
Hermione threatens Sherlock that if she ever hears that he made Molly cry again then his body would never be found and no one would come looking because he would cease to exist.
Sherlock is horrified that he can't tell if she is lying or not.
Severus and Hermione leave and Molly pats Sherlock's arm then goes back to work.
Cue weeks of Sherlock failing to find anything on Molly's friends.
Until Mycroft steps in and tells him to stop or he would make him stop.
Sherlock returns to Barts having forgotten meeting Severus and Hermione at all.
