Apologies and Board Games
“Nat I’m on your side” Lottie started as they walked back into their hotel room.
“I don’t want to talk about this!” Nat said harshly and Lottie rolled her eyes.
“Nattie- c’mon.”
“I’m serious Lots, not now.” She closed the door behind her and moved her hands through her blonde hair.
“I’m on your side about this…”
“no you aren’t, you picked Shauna- you picked Shauna over me. Lots we’re supposed to be a team-”
“Nattie….”
“Just forget it Lottie, just forget it.” Nat lay defeated on Lottie’s side of their bed.
Lottie walked over, “my side asshole.”
There was a smirk on her face and Nat looked over. “You’re crazy.”
“I know..” it was sad and Nat was taken aback “Fuck, Lots I didn’t mean-”
“I know. It’s alright. Now get off my side of the bed.”
Nat rolled over, the biggest smile on her face and put her phone on the side table. “C’mere.” Lottie gratefully made her way over and lay in her arms.
“I’m sorry” Natalie whispered into her hair.
“So you forgive me?” Lottie whispered hopefully
“Yea I forgive you sweetie, Shauna is scary I get it.”
Jackie opened the door at the moment. “Hey that’s my girlfriend you’re talking about!”
Shauna trailed in behind her, hitting the blonde lightly. “We weren’t announcing it yet!”
“Why are you guys in here?” Nat asked, pushing herself up onto her arm to hover above Lottie.
Van pushed past the girls, “party time!”
“Uhm no, we did not consent to that…” “C’mon Lots it’ll be fun!”
“It will not, I don’t-” Natalie grabbed the hand of the brunette and intertwined their fingers. “If it gets to much we can get them to leave, ok?”
Lottie nodded. “Fine….”
The rest of the girls filed into the room.
For the next hour they played spin the bottle, which didn’t last very long when all the girls would only kiss their girlfriends.
Jackie would only kiss Shauna, Shauna would only kiss Jackie
Nat would only kiss Lottie, Lottie would only kiss Nat
Melissa would only kiss Gen, Gen would only kiss Melissa
Mari however kept throwing herself at Travis, Travis found this repulsive
And Robin sat in the corner with her book while Misty kept trying to talk to her.
They moved on to twister, and everyone kept falling on each other.
Nat almost killed Misty when the curly headed blonde tripped on her foot and sent them both clattering to the floor.
The only person who was able to stop Natalie from murdering the mouse-like girl, was Lots, who promised lots of kisses if Nat let the younger girl survive the night.
Nat agreed, muttering something like “she would get her the night after.”
Which only received an eye roll from Lottie.
The night was full of board games, yelling and alcohol. Lottie ended up falling asleep in Natalie’s arms and when everyone went back to their rooms, Nat woke Lottie long enough to put her back in bed. Natalie fell asleep with her arms around the taller girl, and she somehow had the best sleep of her life.
