A Normal Day In Yokohoma
Albus Dumbledore is intrigued. Recently, a wizard was sensed in the Asian continent. A powerful one. One that has great potential, he has heard. And as if that wasn't enough, the wizard was seen in Yokohoma, Japan - the city that is closed off from the rest of the muggle world and is famous for its prodigies.
And that's why he had requested the magic ministry to take this wizard and nurture it. And it's why he's currently walking through the streets of Yokohoma with Minerva at his side. Strangely enough, the streets seem quite flooded today. The people seem almost desperate to be outside. But the closer he walks towards the wizard's residence, the more the crowd clears. Until eventually, there is nobody except a few men walking around in suits and construction workers fixing an exceptional amount of broken windows, making him wonder how so many broke in the first place.
The old man continues walking through the well-lit streets along with his colleague, until they are standing at the door of the wizard's residence. It's a nice house, to be humble. It looks like somebody wealthy owns it, and the assumption wouldn't be that far off, as he was told the wizard's guardian works as a surgeon, and ought to make a lot of money.
Minerva tranfigures into a cat, and climbs onto Dumbledore's shoulder. Dumbledore knowcks on the door, and it's immediately opened by a raven-haired man in a doctor's coat with a polite yet calculating smile on his face and almost a relieved look in his eyes.
"Why hello, may I help you with something?" Mori Ougai asks. He's almost relieved that the people came. Not only because dear Dazai-kun can longer scold him for opening the door immediately, but also because the child he's been treating and observing for years, the child he's been forced to watch be hurt again and again, he child he would like to call his own, if allowed, will finally be safe. The thought almost brings happy tears to his eyes. But first, he needs to be sure that Dazai-kun will be safe with these people.
The saphire eyes scan the old man. An air of confidence around him, maybe even overconfidence..... Hmph, that won't last for long when Dazai-kun absolutely destroys him mentally to submit to his every command. It's what he does with everyone. It might have even happened to Mori himself, but he doesn't mind. Dazai-kun is a child. A broken, manipulative, genius and twisted child, but a child nonetheless. And Mori is his benefactor. A child would never harm their benefactor.
"Ah, yes, I am Albus Dumbledore from Hogwarts. I suppose you got our letter?" The man with the long beard asks. Ah yes, how could Mori forget about the letter? He had been both ecstatic and terrified when he found it. Ecstatic because Osamu can finally be safe now and scared because what if the boss finds it? "Yes, I did. I am Mori Ougai, Osamu's father. Please, step inside." Mori steps aside to let the man in.
Dumbledore walks through the hallways with Minerva on his shoulder, led by Ougai, until they enter a living room. There is light filtering in through the windows, and the room looks lived in well. There is a plump velvet couch right in the middle of the room, and on that couch sits a child with short blonde hair and black eyes, kicking his feet out in the air playfully, but no playfulness in his expression. Ougai smiles at the boy.
"Ah, Osamu-kun? The principal of that school is here!" He exclaims cheerfully. The boy turns around to look at them, his one visible eye like a blackhole. Taking in all the light around him, yet never returning any back.
"Huh? Ah, okay, papa."
