Chapter 1
Tom had one main goal in life. Take over the wizarding world. With his intelligence, looks and manipulation tactics, he was sure he could do it any day now. Ok, maybe not anyday. One, he was still a student and needed to keep up his act as one, even though he was way more proficient in everything by now. Two, he needed to find a way to attain immortality. Tom was definitely not someone who acts without a backup plan, that’s for sure! His mind was set on horcruxes. It would have definitely more easier if Slughorn was ready to answer his questions. But alas, he needed to put in work himself and hence the immense amount of time spent in the library.
Tom basically lived in the Hogwarts library now. He may or may not have manipulated Madam Pince into giving him access to the Restricted Section. It was almost alarming how easy it was to do so. He have influenced Lucius into giving him access to the Malfoy Library but Tom had saved it for future references during the holidays. It was not alarming how easy it was to influence Lucius. The blonde haired bloke was basically an idiot at this point. It would only have been strange if he had questioned Tom’s motives.
But all this came to shambles on a fine Sunday morning.
Tom had decided to rot in the library from early morning immediately after breakfast. He definitely didn’t have the energy to socialize with his minions at the Slytherin table and he was glad that they were late risers. The Hogwarts Library was usually deserted at this day and time of the week except for the bushy haired Granger (seriously did she ever sleep?). The library only attracted students by Sunday evening when the witches and wizards suddenly remembered about their pending homework. It was definitely a pain in the arse for Madam Pince during that time of the day.
Tom definitely wasn’t surprised to enter the vacant library on that morning (He may have been surprised to not find Granger there. Maybe her red headed boyfriend had rubbed off on her). He was on his way to the Restricted Section when a certain someone caught his eyes. This raven haired boy was sleeping soundly in the library. His arms spread out the table and his glasses almost falling off of his face. It was not the first time Tom saw the boy. He had seen him with Granger before. He never thought he might be the type to come to the library at such an early hour of the day. Maybe he was indeed not the type as he seemed to care so less about the books spread out on the table. Tom definitely hadn’t noticed before how pretty the boy was.
Tom most definitely will be lying if he say that his heart didn’t skip a beat when the wind blew the boy’s hair to reveal his face. He had just never noticed Harry’s long eyelashes, perfect nose and pouty lips before. Was he falling for a boy? The sudden thought caused Tom to stumble and hit himself on a chair, letting out a shriek. He was definitely going to scold himself for waking the boy up. Or maybe he was not. He could now see Harry’s emerald green eyes. Ok maybe he was going to scold himself.
“Oh! Hi!” Said Harry. Tom was never one to care about greetings but he definitely cared now. And it was definitely not a good look to stutter. “Are you okay? You look so red. Are you not feeling well? Should I take you to the hospital wing?” asked the concerned boy. This was it! It was enough humiliation for the day. Tom ran out of the library as if it wasn’t more humiliating.
That’s how Tom came up with a new and more important goal in his life. Do something about this thing he have for Harry freakin’ Potter and definitely humiliate himself less infront of the boy. And finally take over the world.
Tom’s To-Do list:
•Be able to talk infront of Harry
•Maybe ask him out?
•Kiss him (definitely)
•Rot in The Hogwarts Library
•Make use of the Malfoy Manor Library
•Make horcruxes
•Take over the world (hopefully with Harry by his side)
