Love Is In The... Cauldron
If it wasn't for silencing charms Remus and Sirius would have probably been kicked out of the Gryffindor tower. They stayed awake until 3am or something, telling each other stupid jokes and shamelessly gossiping about everyone they knew. Today was no different, a silly romcom playing in the background, popcorn, chocolate and quiddich magazines all over the table, the two of them wrapped in their favorite Gryffindor blanket laughing uncontrolably.
''Hey, you didn't tell me about yesterday! How did the Jily thing go?'' asked Remus.
''First of all it's Lames and you know it!''
''But it isn't!''
''But it is!''
''But it's not! Anyway how did it go?''
''Oh, you should have been there Moony! James's face was sooo confused! And I bet Evans was pissed! They'd never suspect I locked them in the History classroom!Hahaha...ha?'' Sirius stopped. Remus wasn't laughing.
''You did what? Are you insane? They could have been in great danger! Did you know Lily has claustrophobia? What if something happened to her?''
Sirius bit his lip. No, he didn't know that.
''I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. It was so irresponsible. I jut... well it seemed like the best opportunity and I...''
'' Hey, Sirius, I'm not mad at you. I just, would prefer you asked me before doing something like this again. Remember, we're at this together.''
''How can you make us playing machmaker with our best friends sound like a life journey?''
Remus laughed.
''You know I'm not talking about this''
Yes, Sirius knew. They both leaned in for a kiss, his hair tickling Remus's cheek, his hands finding the hem of his shirt and pulling him closer. Remus broke the kiss.
''Seriously now, I wasn't kidding about earlier. Don't lock anyone in the History classroom again.'' He smiled mischievously. ''In fact I think I'm planning our next move.''
''What do you have in mind, my troublesome babe? My god, I feel like Thelma and Louise!''
''Let's say that you'd know if you payed attention at Potions class''

Lily Evans tied her hair up with a pencil and looked again at her potions textbook. Let's do this.
Normally potions was her favorite subject. Although today was amorentia time and she didn't know if she was ready to do this. At age almost 17, Lily Evans had never had a boyfriend. She'd once kissed a boy while playing truth or dare, but it was so long ago and the kiss was so boring she didn't even like it. She had a few crushes, but nothing major or for a long time. She didn't go on dates, didn't flirt, and certainly didn't know how her amorentia would smell like. She sighed and looked at Remus, who was puting the last ingredient into their cauldron. It was over. She had to face it.
Lily felt a cold breeze on her skin, her eyes red and her legs going limb.
No this couldn't be right.
She felt herself walk towards Slughorn, knees weak and still trying to process what had just happened.
She asked him to dismiss her for the rest of the lesson, since she wasn't feeling well. She didn't wait for a response. Potions was the last thing she cared about right now.
Because besides the fact that she was obviously going insane, she was quite sure that she had just smelled was the one and only James Potter's famous cologne.

Sirius Black threw an other glance at Evans and quickly jogged to his boyfriend.
"And what's up with her?" he asked. Surely enough Evans looked sick and something told him his beloved lover had something to do with that.
Remus shrugged and looked around to make sure Slughorn wasn't watching them.
" Well it probably has to do with the fact that when I sent her to bring more rose ashes, I kinda replaced her potion with something else."
" And that else being?"
" Prongses' cologne. I added a bit of quidditch polish and some fresh parchment dust and... VoilΓ Lily's brand new crush!".
" Oh. I actually don't know whether to be afraid of you or pull you aside and snog you senseless."
Remus laughed quietly." I would do the second myself, but I am afraid we have to be around to make sure everything goes according to plan. "
Sirius smirked and went back to his potion. This was going to be either miraculous or disastrous. Either way, he was so ready for it.

" You smelled WHAT?!!!"
Lily winced as Marlene McKinnon, her best friend, exclaimed, not so quietly, expressing her disbelief. The last thing she needed was for the rest of the Gryffindor to find out about her unfortunate amorentia incident.
" Shut up! I don't need everyone here knowing, okay?"
" Yeah, but are you sure? I mean smelling Dumbledoor's beard shampoo would seem more possible?"
" No, it was definitely that goddamn cologne, I am sure... Marly, does that mean..."
" That you and Potter are soulmates, in love and meant to be? Nah, I don't think so."
" Me neither... but then why am I smelling him in my bloody love potion?" She thought about it for a minute. " Marlene, is there any chance Potter did something to my potion?"
" C'mon Lily, don't be ridiculous! The git can't even tell the difference between a potion and a butterbeer! Plus he couldn't do that from the other side of the classroom without anyone noticing!"
" Godamn you're right! Maybe I did something wrong! Maybe I put too much lilac juice or put mint leaves instead of basil."
Marlene looked at her with sympathy.
" Yeah. Maybe you did"
But she didn't really believe that. Nor did Lily.
She looked at the Gryffindor common room. Pictured him telling stupid jokes to Black, writing his neverending charms homework, playing chess with Remus and Peter, saying goodnight to everyone, even the ones he didn't know.
She'd better not be in love with that boy. Otherwise there was no way back.
