Home For Christmas
It's finally the Christmas holidays, and Kellin should be coming round to my apartment in a couple of hours. Unfortunately the two of us couldn't spend Christmas night with each other since he had to spend Christmas with his family, while I had to spend it with my own. But that's completely understandable, and spending the day after Christmas together is the next best thing.
I've been waiting for this day to arrive since Kellin boarded the train back to Hogwarts, and now that he's finally coming back for the holidays, even if it's only a short holiday, I honestly can't be any happier than I am right now. I finally get to see my boyfriend again after being away from him for more than three months.
While I'm waiting for Kellin to get here, I decide to do a little cleaning, before walking down the road to the store to buy a few things, thankfully there's a couple of shops open the day after Christmas, otherwise if there's not, I'm not really sure I've got enough to feed the both of us with back in my apartment. Then again, Kellin doesn't really seem to eat that much, so it's not like he's going to be raiding the kitchen cupboards for food at all.
I wish I got the chance to meet Kellin at King's Cross when he got back a couple of days ago, but unfortunately I was needed at the pub, and I couldn't make it to King's Cross in time, and then I never got the chance to visit him the last few days leading up to now, since I was busy working, and I had to go to my parents house. Thankfully Kellin understands why I couldn't see him until today, but I have a feeling he was a little upset, and he was possibly worried that I didn't want to still be with him, but when I called him yesterday morning, he sounded relieved that I hadn't forgotten about him. Though I'm surprised that he still somehow remembered how to work that cheap little mobile phone that I got him, since he didn't take it to Hogwarts with him, and just left it at home. I only got that mobile for him for an easier way for us both to contact each other when he's out of school.
Once I've got everything that I need from the store, I head on back to my apartment, where I get everything ready for when Kellin gets here. Last time he was here, I was meaning to show him The Lord Of The Rings movies, since he's never seen them before, but that didn't end up happening, so I think tonight the both of us can cuddle up on the couch together and watch all three of The Lord Of The Rings movies, despite the fact that all three of the movies are three hours long each.
I'm not sure exactly when Kellin's going to turn up, so for the time being till he gets here, I start cooking some food for the both of us to have while we watch some movies and just hang out with each other. Now, I hope he likes what I'm cooking, cause if he doesn't, then yeah. Well, it's not a bad thing if he doesn't like what I'm cooking, it'll just be a bit of a waste. It's just a good thing I'm only cooking for the two of us, unless Dan and Phil turn up later - I'm not sure if they will turn up, it's just an if - though if they do turn up, they can bring their own food.

As soon as I'm opening the door to my apartment, I'm met with arms around me, as Kellin throws himself to me, hugging me tightly, and I hug him back just as tight. It takes us a while to let go of each other, and when we do, I grab Kellin's bags from off the ground, and carry them inside while he shuts the door, following me inside.
"I've missed you, Vic." Kellin murmurs, as he wraps his arms round my waist from behind and rests his head on my shoulder.
"I've missed you too, Kells." I say, not wanting him to let go, but I've got to go into the kitchen to check on the food. "Hey, baby." I sigh. "You may have to let go." I say.
He shakes his head. "I don't wanna." He pouts. "I wanna cuddle you."
"I've got to check on the food so it doesn't burn." I say. "Once I've done that, we can go cuddle on the couch."
"Promise?" He asks.
"I promise." I say, looking over my shoulder at him, and kissing him softly, before he sighs, pulling away from me and walking into the living room.
I watch on after him, before walking into the kitchen and over to the oven where I've got a small chicken cooking along with a few roast potatoes. Luckily none of it was burning, and it seemed to be almost finished, so I turn the oven down just a little, before getting two plates out of the cupboard and place them on the bench for when I go to dish the food up for us.
Walking into the living room, I see Kellin already sitting on the couch looking over my Lord Of The Rings video tapes. He looks over his shoulder as he notices me walking into the room, and smiles at me.
"Hey, the food is almost ready." I say, coming to sit down next to him.
"Cuddle me then?" He asks, setting the video tapes down on the coffee table before stretching his arms out for me.
Smiling, I sit down on the couch next to him and pull him to me as he wraps his arms around me and buries his head in my chest. This is exactly what I've missed, and even though Kellin will be going back to Hogwarts in another couple of weeks, I'm just glad to have him back with me till he eventually goes back. I've missed cuddling with him on my couch, and just hanging out with him. So even if this'll only last a couple of weeks, I don't care, just as long as he's with me till them.
I rub a hand round his back as he moves around in my arms so he's just resting his head on my shoulder, and the two of us simply just enjoying each others comfort. This is what the both of us have definitely been craving after being away from each other for the past couple of months, and now that we're finally back together - even if it's only for a couple weeks - everything is simply perfect.

"Vic?" Kellin asks, once I've set his plate of food down in front of him on the coffee table.
"Yeah?" I ask, sitting down on the couch next to him with my plate of food.
The two of us are about to start eating while we begin watching the first Lord of the Rings movie, and Kellin's never watched or really heard of The Lord of the Rings both books and movies, and I just can't wait to show them to him. They're some of the best books, and the movies bring the books to life so beautifully.
"What exactly is The Lord of the Rings about?" He questions, grabbing his plate of food off the coffee table, and setting it onto his lap. "Is it any good?"
"Are you kidding?" I ask, laughing slightly. "The Lord of the Rings is only the best trilogy out." I say. "And you're going to absolutely love them." I assure him, as I press play on the remote. "Ignoring the fact that each movie is around three hours long."
"They're that long?" He asks, while stabbing a roast potato with his fork and taking a bite. "Well then, it better be worth it." He mutters. "Though, you didn't answer me about what it's about."
I shake my head slightly. "Well." I start. "It might be a little better to just watch it and see, since I absolutely suck at explaining things." I apologize. "You should get the idea for what it's about while watching it anyway." I say.
He nods. "Well alright then." He says. "Let's watch."
And with that, the two of us eat our food while watching the first Lord Of The Rings movie - The Fellowship Of The Ring - and all the way through while the both of us are watching it, I notice that Kellin seems to be rather hooked onto it, which I'm super happy about. Though, it looks as though he's formed a small crush on Frodo.
Finally, once we've finished watching the first movie, the both of us get up off the couch, stretching a little, before we grab our plates off the coffee table and take them into the kitchen.
"Okay, I am officially a fan of The Lord of the Rings." Kellin says, placing his plate in the sink. "Frodo is so adorable!" He exclaims.
I chuckle at him, shaking my head a little. "Well, I'm glad you enjoyed the first movie." I say. "I was worried that you wouldn't like it."
"Are you kidding?" He asks. "Vic, we have to watch the second one now." He says, running off back into the living room. "I don't care how long it is."
Shaking my head slightly, I follow him into the living room to find him already seated on the couch with a blanket wrapped around him, ready to start the next movie. I smile at him, before walking over to the TV, and swapping out the Fellowship Of The Ring for the Two Towers in the video player, before sitting down on the couch next to Kellin as we begin watching the next one.
With Kellin cuddled up against me under the blankets while we watch the movie, I can't be any more thankful that I've got him as my boyfriend. Kellin's absolutely perfect in every way, and I love him very much, and nothing is going to change that.
