He's The Prettiest Boy At The Dance
Vic's POV
Waiting with the guys for their dates is, well I have to admit rather boring, especially considering I have no one to wait for, but It's whatever. Though I do wish I was waiting for Kellin so I can go to the dance with him, unfortunately that's not going to happen though, but just maybe I can get at least one dance from him tonight.
Eventually the guy's dates arrive, and we all make our way to the grand hall for the dance. Falling into step beside Kellin, I notice that he looks a little nervous, and kind of unsure about something.
"Are you okay, Kellin?" I ask, looking over at him, as he keeps looking down at the ground. "Kellin?" I ask, placing a hand on his shoulder.
He flinches slightly, looking up at me with wide eyes, actually his eyes almost looked like cats eyes instead of human eyes, till they went back to normal. He sighs, shaking his head slightly. "I'm fine." He says, scratching the back of his neck slightly.
Watching him closely, I'm not quite sure that he's exactly telling the truth, but I don't push the matter any further, it doesn't seem like he'd want to talk about it anyway. Instead, the two of us just follow the other down to the grand hall to the dance.
Though, on the way, I can't help but take in how beautiful he looks right now, he could quite possibly be the prettiest boy at the dance. no, he is the prettiest boy at the dance for sure. I just wish he was my date to the dance, and not Oliver Sykes's date and boyfriend.
His hair was brushed back and stylized in a way that looked amazing on him, even for being a slight feminine style, he could pull it off either way. The suit he was wearing looked stunning on him, with the slight dress-like look it gave off at the back of the jacket, it almost looked as though he was wearing a mix of both a suit and a black ball gown, it's kind of hard to explain exactly what it looks like, but either way, it looks amazing on him.
He seems to notice me staring at him, and he looks over at me slightly, seemingly not sure what to do in this situation. A blush rises on his cheeks slightly as I smile at him, and he looks away from me.
"You look amazing, Kellin." I say.
Surprised, he looks back at me, his cheeks turning even more red. "You really think so?" He asks. "You don't think I look stupid wearing this suit jacket that falls down into something similar to a dress?"
I shake my head. "Not at all." I say. "It looks amazing on you." I smile.
He smiles a little, but his smile soon fades as we reach the hall, and Oli - his date and boyfriend - walks over to him, slipping an arm round his waist, and pulling him to his side more, before they walk off.
Jealously bubbles up inside me, as I watch Kellin be all cuddly with Oli. Why can't that be me with Kellin right now, instead of Oli? Though, the jealous feeling doesn't stay for too long, as Kellin looks over his shoulder at me, somewhat a longing sad look on his face as he looks back at me, and I swear he mouthed what seemed like "I want you, not him", but I can't be sure. I mean, why would Kellin rather have me instead of his boyfriend? I'm nothing special.
Sighing, I follow the others to a couple of tables on one side of the hall, and we all sit down for a while, till eventually I'm the only one still sitting down. Well, the only one sitting down alone, considering Alex and Jack have come and sat back down after dancing together for a bit. But now, Jack is sitting on Alex's lap as the pair of them make out with each other. So typical of those two, soon they might be somewhere else doing more than just kissing.
Sitting back, I just sit alone watching all my friends dance, but my eyes keep drifting off to a certain boy. That boy being the prettiest boy at the dance, Kellin Quinn Bostwick. He was basically slow dancing with Oli, while Oli's arms where firmly round his smaller waist, their chests pressed together, as he rested his head on Oli's shoulder.
Even though Kellin is out slow dancing with his boyfriend, he didn't look remotely happy to be out there with Oli, and when he caught me watching him, the both of us just stared at each other, not losing eye contact at all, even when Oli slid his hand down to his ass, Kellin never broke eye contact with me, as he moved Oli's hand off his ass and back to where it was before.
Maybe I wasn't just imagining what Kellin had mouthed out to me earlier, and he really doesn't want Oli, but he wants me instead. Even if that's true though, I'm not so sure if he can even get away from Oli at all, and I'm not sure what I can do to help him get away from Oli.
Annoyingly, Oli pulls Kellin into the crowd of people more, and I lose sight of him. But now that I'm no longer keeping eye contact with Kellin, I notice his friends Lynn and Alexa watching off in the direction Kellin and Oli are walking off to, before they move over to where Jenna is dancing with her girlfriend Tay. They seem to tell something to both Tay and Jenna, before the four of them walk over somewhere else. I also notice Alysha, my brother's girlfriend look over towards them, before saying something quickly to Mike, before quickly walking off to catch up with the other girls.
"Where's Alysha off to?" I ask Mike, as he walks over to the table I'm sitting at.
He shrugs. "She just said girl business, and that she won't be long." He says. "I expect that means that she's on her time of the month right now, and she needs to take care of that stuff."
I nod. It made sense, but I'm not quite sure if that's exactly why Alysha has excused herself from Mike, but I don't voice my thoughts, for all I know it may be exactly that. Though, she did go off and follow Lynn, Alexa, Tay, and Jenna rather quickly.
Sitting back in my seat, I just sit here, becoming rather bored right now. But somehow, I've got the strangest feeling that something is about to happen very soon. What exactly that might be though, I have no idea....
