The Truth Isn't Always A Good Thing
So, this dance it actually very boring without having a date. The dance has now been going on for around an hour now, and honestly, I kinda regret even attending, but I promised myself that I'll do my best to try and have at least one dance with Kellin before the night's over. Problem is though, I have no idea if Oli will even allow Kellin to dance with me, as from what I've seen so far tonight towards Oli and Kellin, is that Oli is kind of a dick to Kellin, and I've actually caught him a couple of times now touching Kellin around the area that he doesn't want to be touched.
For some odd reason, I've got a feeling that something is going to happen rather soon, and I don't even know exactly what that'll even be. Though, I've got a feeling that Kellin's friends Lynn and Alexa are going to be behind whatever is about to go down soon, and I think that they'll have the help of Jenna and her girlfriend Tay, and even Mike's girlfriend Alysha, considering she hasn't come back over to Mike at all yet.
Speaking of Mike, I look over at him, to see that he's pretty much fallen asleep in the chair he's sitting in next to me, and I don't make any move to wale him, at least not till Alysha comes back over to him, then I'll wake him. Though, that may just be a little while away till Alysha comes back over to him.
"Vic?"
Looking up at the sound of my name being called, I spot Kellin walking over to me, before sitting down next to me. Getting a better look at him once he sits down next to me, I notice that he seems to be on edge about something, and I have honestly no clue on why that is, or what he's on edge about.
"You okay?" I ask. "I thought you'd still be dancing with Oli?"
He shakes his head. "No, Oli's gone to get us some drinks." He says, before looking down at his lap, and that's when I notice that he seems to be shaking just a little.
Moving around on then chair slightly, concern starts to fill me as I watch Kellin closely. He seems to look a little scared of something, and that begins to worry me. He begins picking at the nail polish that I just notice is on his fingers, and it seems almost as though he's trying not to start crying.
"Kellin, look at me." I say, grabbing a hold of one of his hands, and gently make him turn to look at me. "You're definitely not okay right now, Kellin." I say. "Please tell me what's wrong?"
He shakes his head quickly, not looking me in the eye, and that's when I now notice that the tears have begun to roll down his cheeks slowly. This definitely is not the look of someone who's okay at all, and as I pull Kellin closer to me slowly, I almost get him talking, till Oli makes his way over to the both of us.
"Fuentes, get your fucking hands off my boyfriend!" Oli says, some form of hatred directed towards me clear in his eyes, and the way he spoke to me.
He's then grabbing onto Kellin's arm, and pulling him away from me roughly, causing Kellin to let out a pained sob, catching the attention of both Alex and Jack, who I completely forgot were still sitting near me, and also waking Mike up. The three of them look over at both Oli and Kellin in confusion, before taking in Kellin's pained expression.
Watching as Oli pulls Kellin to his chest, he seems to whisper something harshly into Kellin's ear, still gripping onto his arm in what seems to be a rather painful way for Kellin, and as Kellin looks over at me, silently pleading for me to do something, is when I realise exactly how Kellin and Oli's relationship really is, and the reason Kellin never seems to talk about it to anyone. Oli seems to abuse him both mentally, and physically.
I guess that would explain why Kellin's usually so timid, almost like a stray cat around a group of people he's not familiar with. But, what gets me really wondering, is why Kellin's never tried to end the relationship. Though, that might be because he's being threatened.
"Oli, let him go." I say, standing up and walking over to them.
"Fuck off, Fuentes." Oli says, glaring at me, as Kellin whimpers in his hold. "This is none of your business."
I shake my head. "Well, I'm making it my business." I say. "Especially considering you seem to be hurting Kellin, and this doesn't seem like the first time either."
He laughs slightly. "Do you really think I care whether or not this is hurting Kellin?" He asks. "He's nothing but a useless little bitch."
Looking around, I notice Lynn, Alexa, Alysha, Tay and Jenna all running over to both Kellin and Oli, their wands out, and ready in case it came to having to use them. Whatever they're planning to do, must be why they had gone off for a certain amount of time, so they can organize what's about to go down.
"Let go of him, Oli." Lynn says, walking closer to him as she holds her wand out right at him in case she has to use it. "You have no right to even be anywhere near him after what you've done to him."
Oli laughs a little at her. "You can't prove anything, you filthy mud-blood." He says, pushing Kellin to the floor, causing him to cry out.
I drop down on the floor, and bring Kellin into my arms and hold him against my chest carefully as I help him up off the ground. He leans into me more, as I walk him away from Oli, so he won't get hurt.
"I can prove it." Lynn says, her free hand clenching up into a fist as she tries to ignore the insult that Oli gave her. "And I will prove it." She then turns to Kellin and I, and she forms some reveal spell on Kellin, and suddenly his face, and I'm assuming the rest of his body is littered in bruises.
More sobs begin to leave Kellin's mouth, and I hold him closer to me, rubbing a hand round his back in a soothing way, to try and calm him down as much as I can. Looking over at Oli, I find that he doesn't even seem sorry at all.
By now we've started to attract an audience, and I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, as the teacher's are more than likely to get involved with this pretty soon, and honestly, where this is heading, it might just be a good idea if the teacher's get involved, as it seems Lynn isn't finished yet. Though, I've got a bad feeling about what she's going to say next.
"You know what else, Oli?" She goes on, turning back to Oli, after watching Kellin sadly. "I know that's not all you've done to him." She starts, her voice beginning to crack slightly. "And I'm sorry to even say this, since I know you've wiped Kellin's memory of it after each time you did it to him."
At this point tears were rolling down her face, and whatever she's about to say next has seemed to catch Kellin's attention as he looks over at his best friend.
"I know you'd rape him, Oli." She says. "And that you'd wipe his mind straight after so he'd remember nothing of it."
"What?!" Kellin practically cries out, looking over at Oli. "The a-abuse wasn't enough, s-so you did that t-too?" He sobs.
Oli shakes his head, laughing at Kellin like he's literally nothing. "Well, what else could I do when I want a good fuck, but my boyfriend is a fucking asexual freak?" He asks.
I hold Kellin close to me more, as he pretty much breaks down, before he's transformed into a small black cat in my arms. Well, I actually wasn't even aware that he's an Animagus, but now is not the time to think about that, so I just carefully hold his small, shaking body close to me, as he starts whimpering in distress.
Before Lynn, or any of the other girls could do anything else, most of the students break apart, to make way for Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, and Professor Snape to make their way over to us to see what the hell is going on.
"What is going on here?" Dumbledore demands, looking between Oli, Lynn, myself, and the others.
Lynn explains the situation to them, but I don't really pay that much attention to it. All I really care about right now, is Kellin, and whether or not he'll be okay at all, I mean, he basically just found out that his so-called boyfriend would rape him, then wipe his mind of the incident, not to mention it's happened more than once.
"Oli, Lynn, Vic, and Kellin." Dumbledore starts. "I want you four to come with me to my office." He says. "The rest of you that are involved in some way can go to your dorms for the rest of the night."
Sighing, I walk over to Lynn, Kellin still in my arms, as we follow Dumbledore, Snape, and McGonagall to Dumbledore's office, Oli trailing along behind us. I look over my shoulder to see that the rest of the teachers are getting the rest of the students to move away, and continue on with the dance or something.
But right now, as we follow Dumbledore, Snape and McGonagall away from the hall and to the headmaster's office, I'm not sure if everything's going to be okay or not.
