Secrets Told
Feeling her cheek traced by fingertips as Alessia turned right into a pair of arms. She smiled softly while feeling a kiss upon her forehead.
“Time to wake up.” Liandrin’s voice came in her ear.
“I’m too comfortable to move.” Alessia spoke softly. She looked up to see the light blue eyes watching her before she then sat up. Stretching her arms and sighed a little contently. She leaned back as Liandrin also sat up. Watching the woman in red get out of bed and begin to weave air all across the room. Making sure no one could hear anything they were going to say. Once she was done, she walked back over and sat on the bed right next to Alessia again.
“No secrets, remember?” Liandrin asked as Alessia nodded her head and sighed.
“Mother told me not to tell anyone. As did Moiraine.” Alessia spoke while looking at her hands in her lap. Feeling her chin grabbed as she was forced to look into those eyes.
“Tell me.” Liandrin spoke.
“You have to swear you will not tell anyone else. I haven’t even told my friends.” Alessia spoke. She was now putting all her trust into this woman.
“I swear it. If it is something that others are not supposed to know. I will protect you. To the best of my ability.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia frowned and took a deep breath before nodding her head lightly.
“When Moiraine didn’t have me sign my name, she took us to Fal Dara.” Alessia spoke.
“You are telling me what happened before telling me?” Liandrin asked.
“Yes.” Alessia replied.
“Moiraine said one of us is the Dragon Reborn.” Alessia spoke. Liandrin was listening closely to this. “I am betraying her trust and Mother’s by telling you.” Alessia added. Feeling both of her hands taken and squeezed. “She took me to the Eye of the World. To put the Dark One back into his cage but I failed. I sent his lieutenant free.” Alessia spoke. Keeping Rand’s channeling a secret. Her eyes met the light blue ones again.
“I am the Dragon Reborn.” Alessia spoke softly. Feeling her lip twitch into a frown.
“Oh. My dear.” Liandrin spoke while cupping Alessia’s cheek and caressed it. Alessia looked away and sighed. She felt arms wrap around her and pulled her close. “That’s why you can recreate any weave we teach you the first time.” Liandrin spoke as Alessia nodded her head.
“I hope it doesn’t change anything between us.” Alessia spoke as she held her breath a little.
“Of course not my little Dragon.” Liandrin spoke with a smile. Alessia blushed a little at this and chuckled. “Though, you need to show that you are struggling a little sometimes. Perfecting any and all weaves will be a dead giveaway.” Liandrin warned her. She hadn’t thought of that. She nodded at this. There was no going back now. She was all out to Liandrin now.
“What about you?” Alessia asked. Studying the woman who took a deep breath and sighed.
“I have two secrets. I have never told anyone. One I know you can look past but the other one. I am afraid.” Liandrin spoke while taking a deep breath. Alessia was still curious but listening. “I have a son.” Liandrin spoke.
“You laid with a man? I thought you hated men?” Alessia asked. She was confused at this.
“Yes. I do. It happened before I came to the Tower. I was so very young when it happened. My father forced me to before I was developed.” Liandrin spoke. Her voice broke at this. Alessia took Liandrin’s hands into her own and kissed them.
“I am sorry you went through that. If any man ever touches you again, I will end them.” Alessia spoke. Liandrin chuckled at this.
“You can’t even hurt an animal.” Liandrin spoke while squeezing her hands again. Alessia chuckled again and nodded. “Anyways. I have kept my son a secret for eighty years now? Ninety?” Liandrin spoke as she was thinking. So Liandrin was over ninety years old? ‘Damn she looks so good for her age.’ Alessia thought and blushed at her own thoughts. Covering her face as Liandrin chuckled. Pulling her hands away.
“What were you just thinking?” The red ajah asked.
“How you look amazing for your age.” Alessia spoke. This earned her a kiss that she was not expecting. She smiled while returning it. Wanting more but pulled back. She knew Liandrin had more to tell her.
“You said ninety years. Is he still alive?” Alessia asked with a curious look.
“He is, yes. He is the reason that I.” Liandrin had stopped talking and sat up. Slowly getting off the bed before standing by the window. Alessia raised a brow at this before she got out of bed as well. Walking up to the woman in red. Standing next to her and taking her hand. Not breaking eye contact.
“That you what?” Alessia then asked.
“I can’t. It will change everything you feel about me.” Liandrin warned her. Alessia sighed. Stepping in front of Liandrin.
“Light or Dark. I do not care. We agreed no secrets. There is nothing out there that will change my thoughts and feelings about you. It’s how you treat me is how I judge you, as you should do the same to me.” Alessia spoke.
“When did you get so wise?” Liandrin asked.
“I’m not there yet.” Alessia smiled.
“Get dressed. I am going to tell you my story.” Liandrin spoke as Alessia nodded. She went to the wardrobe and pulled out a clean Accepted dress. Putting it on quickly as he felt fingers in her hair. Liandrin was doing her hair. She smiled at the woman when done. Her hair was almost done like the red ajah’s. Setting the brush down, she was handed her new white cloak. Putting it on as she followed Liandrin out of the room.
“Where are we going?” Alessia asked as Liandrin looked at her with a smile before leading her down a hallway. She noticed where they were going now. Hearing voices all across the Tower as they made their way down the hallways and a flight of stairs. They were now at the Mistress of Novices office. Seeing Liandrin knock on the door.
“Come in.” Sheriam’s voice came. Opening the door, she went in first. Alessia followed after closing the door. “Sister Liandrin. What can I do for you?” Sheriam asked as Alessia moved from behind. “Daughter Alessia.” She added. Alessia smiled and gave the older woman a bow.
“I have come here to notify you about this.” Liandrin began as she looked at Alessia and then back with a smile.
“About what?” Sheriam asked as she set her writing tool down.
“I am taking Alessia under my wing.” Liandrin spoke. There was a gasp and then silence by Sheriam. The blue ajah pulled out what seemed to be a very old dusty looking book.
“Does she consent to it?” Sheriam asked while looking at Alessia who nodded. “I need your verbal consent.” Sheriam added.
“Yes. I consent.” Alessia spoke.
“Please sign here and here. Both of you.” Sheriam spoke when she opened the book that only a very few pages had writing on them. Liandrin took the writing tool and signed. Handing it to Alessia who also signed it.
“I wish you both well. You are now responsible for her and her wellbeing sister Liandrin.” Sheriam spoke. “Seeing that she is the first you ever took.” Sheriam spoke while closing the book and putting it up.
“She will be the only one ever as well.” Liandrin spoke. “I also want to keep this quiet. I do not need anyone else in our business. I will train her how I want to.” Liandrin added as Sheriam nodded her head.
“Of course. Come to me when she is ready. She is still to attend her classes for teaching and doing her studies. Make sure she does not fall behind.” Sheriam warned Liandrin who nodded and bowed. “Goodluck to you both.” Sheriam added as Liandrin took her leave. Alessia followed not far behind.
“I didn’t know we had to sign like a contract.” Alessia spoke as Liandrin was leading her to the Tower ground floor.
“It’s to make sure any other sisters don’t claim others that are already taken.” Liandrin spoke. “Though, I told her to keep it silent.” The red ajah added. Alessia nodded her head. Noticing they had left the Tower. Walking behind her down the streets. Seeing several of the city people going about their day. Some were rushing while others were taking their time. The sun was giving off some warmth. She was dodging people here and there. She grabbed Liandrin’s hand as the woman then stopped to look at her.
“One moment.” She spoke and pulled out her coin purse. Pulling out a couple marks and bought two honey cakes. Handing one to Liandrin. Putting her money away as she bowed to the seller. She turned her attention back to the red ajah. “I’ve never had one of these before.” She spoke with a smile. Seeing Liandrin eating hers with a smile before leading them again. Alessia took her first bite and softly moaned at the taste. The sweet taste of honey hitting her mouth as she ate her whole cake rather quickly.
“You never had one? Ever?” Liandrin asked as Alessia shook her head.
“That was the first one ever. It was really good!” Alessia spoke while putting her hands behind her back.
“I will have to remember that.” Liandrin spoke. They had been walking for a good while as Alessia was still taking in the sights. It was the first time she had actually gone to the city. She bumped into Liandrin who turned to face her. Wrapping a black cloak around her and putting the hood up. Liandrin had done the same. Putting her hood up as they entered a smaller building. She was led through a few rooms before stopping. Alessia closed the door behind her and dropped her hood. Seeing an old man laying in bed. He seemed to be in pain. Liandrin had put a kettle on the fire and sat down on the bed.
“I am here, my boy. Wake up. I have tea being made soon.” She spoke in a soothing low voice. Alessia moved to the side and sat in a chair. “His name is Aludran.” Liandrin spoke as the kettle hissed. Alessia quickly got up and grabbed a hand rag to pull it off the fire. She poured the hot water into three glasses as Liandrin added the herbs to the tea. She took one cup and sat down on the bed again. Lifting his head to help him drink. Alessia took the remaining two cups of tea to the table nearby. Hearing her hum softly to him made her heart melt. She was smiling non stop at the two. Seeing the cup put down as Liandrin stood up. It seemed Aludran had fallen asleep again. Watching a weave of air created to shield sound from leaving the room before she sat down. She sat across from Alessia and sighed. Alessia took her hand and squeezed it.
“He only lived this long because of my oaths.” Liandrin began. Alessia was listening closely. “Aes Sedai are not supposed to have children.” Liandrin added. She raised a brow at this and Liandrin could see her confusion. “It’s because we live much longer than an average human being. We are not supposed to have children because the child can be born with the spark and it could be a boy.” Liandrin explained.
“Does he?” Alessia then asked.
“No. He got lucky. He doesn’t channel.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia nodded. “He is the only thing left in this world that is truly mine. I cannot bear it if I ever lose him, so I did what any desperate mother would do.” Liandrin took a deep breath before looking into Alessia’s. “I swore to the Dark One. To keep him alive.” Liandrin dropped the bomb. Alessia's eyes went wide at this.
“You’re…a Dark friend?” Alessia asked in a low whisper. Liandrin nodded her head. Alessia had tunnel vision while looking down at their hands. Her vision was starting to get dark. Her heart was heard beating in her ears. Liandrin had just confessed to her about being a Dark Friend.
“Alessia?” Liandrin’s voice called out to her as she was brought back. She looked into the light blue eyes again. “Say something.” Liandrin spoke.
“I..I.” Alessia began. Feeling her eyes begin to sting. Liandrin stood up and walked over. Pulling Alessia into a hug.
“Put your head on my chest.” Liandrin instructed her and she did.
“What do you hear?” She asked.
“Your heart. It’s beating rather fast.” She spoke softly.
“It’s beating, for you. For my son.” Liandrin spoke.
“You could betray me.” Alessia spoke softly. “I’m the Dragon. Your master wants me dead.” Alessia spoke weakly. Her words got caught in her voice. Feeling her cheeks cupped as she looked at the woman in red.
“Who told you that?” Liandrin asked.
“Moiraine Sedai did.” Alessia spoke.
“That is not what he wants.” Liandrin spoke as she kissed Alessia’s forehead.
“Moiraine Sedai cannot lie.” Alessia spoke while stepping back from Liandrin.
“No, she cannot. Though she also does not know what the Dark One truly wants unless she follows him, herself. Which she does not.” Liandrin spoke.
“No one can know. Not even your master.” Alessia spoke with a frown. Feeling her cheek cupped and caressed.
“I told you that I will do what I can to protect you. Until you make the choice yourself.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia nodded her head lightly.
“Thank you. Yes, yours is safe as well.” Alessia spoke as Liandrin was about to ask. It happened fast as Alessia felt lips crash against her own. She smiled and returned it. Knowing that she was going to be in a world of trouble.
She was chuckling lightly at the stories Liandrin was telling her about Aludran. Drinking her tea and finishing it. Setting the cup down.
“So, when can I go on missions?” Alessia asked with a smile.
“Eager to get out there are we?” Liandrin asked as Alessia nodded her head.
“I want to learn everything that I can.” Alessia spoke. “Since you are not tied by the oaths, can I see the extent of your Power?” Alessia asked.
“Not around here. Perhaps in the future.” Liandrin spoke as Alessia nodded. “It’s a shame the Tower is limiting our sisters' powers.” Liandrin added.
“What do you mean?” Alessia asked.
“The oaths. You know them right?” The red ajah asked as Alessia nodded her head. “They limit our power and shorten our lives.” Liandrin added.
“How long did the Aes Sedai used to live?” Alessia asked.
“Over six hundred years. Now it is around three hundred.” Liandrin replied.
“Oh wow.” Alessia was stunned at this information.
“They didn’t teach you that in class now did they?” Liandrin asked while also finishing her tea. She shook her head at this. “Then, I have much to teach you.” Liandrin spoke as Alessia smiled at this.
“I really do look forward to it.” Alessia spoke.
“Though, you will have your other studies with the other ajah.” Liandrin spoke. She was silent for a moment and leaned back into her chair. “What’s on your mind?” THe red ajah asked.
“I have to proclaim myself in the future. I do not know what is going to happen after that.” Alessia spoke. Feeling her hand taken again. “They might not let me leave the Tower the other way around.” Alessia added. Liandrin was listening carefully now. “Moiraine Sedai said she wanted to take me under her wing.” Alessia softly spoke.
“Why is it always Moiraine?” Liandrin sighed. She raised a brow at the red ajah.
“Did something happen between the two of you?” Alessia asked.
“Not necessary.” Liandrina began. She knew this was going to be good. “She was someone I looked up to. Admired. We used to be close friends. Until I joined the Red Ajah. We have many differences.” Liandrin spoke.
“I thought for a moment you were going to say you were lovers.” Alessia spoke.
“Well. There had been moments where we shared a kiss or two but she always went back to her lover. Leaving me hanging.” Liandrin spoke. Clenching her fist against the tea cup. Alessia took her hand and kissed it. It had softened up a little.
“Well, it’s in the past now.” Liandrin added before standing up to put her cloak on. Alessia nodded and did the same. “Besides. My future is right here with me in this room.” Liandrin added. Walking over to her son and placing a kiss upon his head. Hearing him sleep soundly. She was still watching when Liandrin took her hand and led her out of the room. Putting her hood back up.
Many thoughts were running through her head at once. She bumped into Liandrin when the red ajah stopped while looking around. Feeling her arm gently grabbed as she was hidden in an alleyway now. Alessia looked over and saw several yellow sisters walking past.
“Why are we hiding?” Alessia asked in a whisper.
“Are you sure no one else knows about you?” Liandrin asked. She was obviously asking about her being the Dragon.
“Moiraine Sedai said to tell no one as did Mother.” Alessia spoke. Liandrin nodded and took the lead again. She followed.
“Will I be starting with red?” Alessia asked.
“No. It will be whatever ajah Sheriam Sedai thinks you should start with first.” Liandrin spoke.
“Oh.” Alessia spoke plainly. “Knowing her journey as an Acceptance only just started.
“I wanted to ask you.” Liandrin spoke as they made their way into the Tower entrance. Alessia looked at Liandrin. “What is sister Alanna teaching you at night after your classes?” Liandrin asked.
“Oh. Dance.” Alessia replied with a smile. Liandrin raised a brow at her. “It’s something that I really enjoy doing. It helps me loosen up.” Alessia added. She was then pushed against the wall. Liandrin was against her. Looking around to make sure they were alone. They were.
“I can help you with that my dear.” Liandrin whispered into her ear. Alessia shivered at this. Feeling a hand Rest against her stomach and slowly inched downwards. Alessia gasped as she felt the tension build between her legs. Liandrin was teasing her and teasing her well.
“Aren’t you supposed to be teaching me weaves and lessons?” Alessia asked in a low voice.
“Yes, but let me give you a taste of what I want.” Liandrin spoke in a seductive voice. Feeling kisses against her down going down, Alessia let out a soft moan. Feeling her own body heat up as the red ajah pulled back. Catching her breath as she started to fan herself. Seeing Liandrin smirk at her before stepping back. Alessia pushed herself off the wall.
“That was mean.” Alessia spoke as she took the lead this time. Heading up the stairs.
“Well, the fun will be later. Today, sister Sheriam wishes to speak to you.” Liandrin spoke as she nodded ahead of them. Alessia looked up and sure enough, the blue ajah was waiting for her. She gave the woman a bow.
“Did sister Liandrin explain about your tasks?” Sheriam Sedai spoke.
“Yes, Sheriam Sedai. I can use the One Power on my own. My studies on my own. Teach Novices if a class requires it. Oversee Novices using the One Power. My punishments will be more severe.” Alessia spoke as if she was reciting from a book.
“Very good daughter Alessia. You will be starting with the gray ajah. Under Sister Joiya. Starting right away.” Sheriam spoke. Alessia gave the woman a bow as she took her leave.
“Shall I go and find Joiya Sedai?” Alessia asked while looking at Liandrin who nodded.
“Yes. Come find me once she is done with you for the day.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia nodded. She saw Liandrin lean in and gave her a quick kiss before taking her leave. Alessia took a deep breath and turned. Knowing where the gray ajahs stayed. She was rather curious about what she would be learning.
She knocked on a door. Hearing footsteps as the door was opened. Seeing a woman in gray. Bald with a kind smile. Though, her eyes look mischievous. Alessia gave the woman a bow.
“Joiya Sedai. I was sent to you for lessons.” Alessia spoke.
“Good to finally meet you daughter Alessia. I heard you are quite powerful. Come.” Joiya spoke as she left her room. Closing the door. Alessia followed her with her hands behind her back. “What do you know of the gray ajah?” She asked.
“They are no fans of war. They prefer solving things through talking. Politics and mediation. Harmony above all else. They are also our best teachers.” Alessia spoke.
“That is correct. We also make choices that make many happy and choices that many disagree or hurt more than others.” Joiya spoke as Alessia was listening carefully. She was following the gray ajah who led her into the Tower Hall. There were a few different ajahs inside already.
“My sisters have recently returned from a mission. A man who is a channeler.” Joiya spoke as she put her hands behind her back as well.
“I thought the Amyrlin Seat is the one who passes judgment on them?” Alessia asked.
“Yes, our mother does pass the judgement.” Joiya spoke as the doors opened again. Alessia looked behind her and bowed along with the others. Siuan came in and took her seat. Seeing the man dragged to the center while looking up at her. She felt Joiya gently guide her to the side.
“You come before me because you are a male channeler who killed innocents.” Siuan spoke softly. Alessia looked at Joiya then back. “What do you say in your defense?” Siuan asked.
“Male channelers are gentled to save hundreds of lives. Sacrificing his life to save many more. If we do not, then he kills many innocents.” Joiya explained.
“Isn’t this what the reds are supposed to be teaching me?” Alessia asked.
“Yes. Though, this here is a trial. We make choices.” Joiya spoke. She understood now. The grays make choices to better benefit the societies. To end wars. Make treaties with other countries.
“Daughter Alessia.” Siuan’s voice spoke. Alessia walked up to her and bowed. “You heard his plea. What do you say?” Siaun asked.
“Mother, are you having me make this choice?” Alessia asked. The Amyrlin nodded her head at this. She turned to face the man on his knees who was looking at her.
“Please…don’t do this.” He spoke.
“You have killed innocents because of your power.” Alessia spoke.
“It was not my fault! I have no control over it.” He begged.
“Yet, you know right from wrong, yes?” She asked. He nodded his head. “You could have left. Stay away from those you loved but yet, you killed them.” Alessia spoke/
“What is your choice, daughter?” Siuan asked. Alessia looked between the two and sighed.
“Gentle.” Alessia spoke. Hearing the man scream as the reds came up and circled him. She saw him rise in the air much like Logain. Hearing him scream as the power was ripped from him. She gasped at this and looked away. Feeling her shoulder touched. She looked up at the gray ajah. Their eyes met as she nodded.
“Now. We have matters we must discuss about Andor.” Siuan then spoke as Joiya guided her to a chair next to her.
“Isn’t this a Sitter’s chair?” She asked. Joiya nodded.
“Yes, though today it will be yours. You will be learning about the choices we are making today.” Joiya spoke as she nodded and sat down. Listening to the sisters talk about the issues and plans to solve them. Alessia was rather curious about this.
“The Queen wants more Aes Sedai in the city to defend it just in case it gets attacked.” One of the greens spoke. Alessia raised a brow at this.
“If you have a question, you may raise your hand.” Joiya spoke as Alessia nodded and did so.
“What is it, daughter?” Siuan asked.
“If I may ask, who would attack Andor? It’s well fortified and guarded.” Alessia asked.
“Rumors that a Forsaken has been awakened.” The green spoke. There were many gasps at this. Alessia felt her own body react to this. The goosebumps rose all over her. She was watching Jeanie now. Her dark eyes were watching her. She had shoulder length light wavy hair.
“Sister Jeaine here has been back and forth between Andor and the Tower. Keeping tabs and us updated.” Joiya explained. She nodded to show she understood.
“I doubt the Forsaken will go after the city.” Siuan then spoke. “I will not send any more daughters there. Go with the Light.” Siuan spoke as they all stood up and bowed. She followed Joiya out of the Tower. Seeing Jeaine walk past her with a wink before leaving. Two men were following her. Alessia guessed she was one of those green ajahs.
“That will be all for today.” Joiya spoke. Alessia smiled and gave the gray ajah a bow. Watching her take her leave, Alessia turned and dashed down the hallways.
She slowed down and caught her breath before knocking on a door and letting herself inside. She stopped and bowed.
“Well hello there.” Tarna’s voice came as Alessia smiled and walked up to her.
“Good to see you Tarna Sedai.” Alessia spoke. Seeing Liandrin smile while drinking from a wine glass.
“Congrat on raising to Acceptance. Don’t expect me to go easy on you.” Tarna warned her.
“I would hope not.” Alessia spoke while returning the smile.
“I will take my leave. Got a mission to head to.” Tarna spoke as she stood up.
“I cannot wait to help on those.” Alessia spoke while putting her hands behind her back.
“You will. Do not worry. Have a goodnight.” Tarna spoke while taking her leave. Once the door was closed, Alessia weaved air. Sending the weaves around her room.
“Look at you.” Liandrin spoke as she pulled Alessia close by her hips.
“I was in the Tower Hall.” Alessia began urgently.
“What’s wrong?” Liandrin asked.
“There’s a Forsaken awake other than Ishamael.” Alessia spoke. Feeling her heart race at this.
“Do you think they know about you?” Liandrin asked.
“Ishamael does for sure. If he told anyone else, I do not know.” Alessia spoke. Feeling her cheek cupped as Liandrin was smiling.
“You are safe here. They do not know where you are.” Liandrin spoke as Alessia nodded. “What else did you learn?” Liandrin asked while handing Alessia a nightgown. Giving the woman in red a curious look before she changed into it. Taking out her hair as she watched Liandrin change as well. She blushed and looked to the side. The red ajah then sat on her bed. Leaning back. Her back was arched as her head tilted back. Her eyes closed. Alessia stood up and slowly walked over to her. Facing her now. SHe leaned in and kissed Liandrin’s neck before sitting on her left knee on the bed.
“Mmm.” Liandrin spoke softly. Her eyes were still closed.
“Do you want to still hear what I learned today?” Alessia asked in a whisper.
“Tell me.” Liandrin spoke as she opened her eyes. Light blue eyes met her dark ones.
“Mother gave me the choice to have a man get gentled.” Alessia spoke. Liandrin’s attention snapped to her.
“And?” She asked.
“I made the choice to gentle him. They did.” Alessia spoke.
“Did you hesitate?” She asked.
“No. I do not think so. He murdered innocent people from what Joiya Sedai told me. That we have to make choices everyday. That no matter what choice we make, it will either make people happy or not.” Alessia spoke. She laid back and sighed a little
“I think you would make a good red.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia looked at the woman and turned onto her side.
“I do not know. I have much left to learn.” Alessia spoke. Liandrin rolled her eyes and chuckled before sitting back up. Finishing her wine as she turned to face Alessia again. Caressing her cheek.
“I’ve also had dreams.” Alessia spoke. Liandrin was listening carefully now. Her eyes are studying her. She looked into the light blue eyes.
“About what?” She asked.
“It’s usually the same thing but in different scenes. Once in a forest. Another maybe in a city or field. I hear my name whispered in the wind. Telling me to release someone.” Alessia spoke. Feeling her cheek cupped.
“Dreams have meaning. Whether we know exactly what they mean or not. I wouldn’t dwell too much on it.” Liandrin spoke.
“There is a saying that is repeated over and over again in them.” Alessia spoke. “Blood calls blood.” Alessia said. There was silence between the two of them before the red ajah spoke.
“Have you told anyone this?” Liandrin asked. Alessia nodded.
“Moiraine Sedai knows. She said she would do research on it.” Alessia replied. Liandrin had this look on her face that she did not know. “Do you know anything about it?” Alessia asked. Liandrin sat up and sighed.
“I guess it cannot wait any longer.” Liandrin spoke.
“What do you know?” Alessia asked. Watching the red ajah closely.
“There is a prophecy. About a Forsaken by the name of Lanfear. The Dragon is supposed to wake her when the time comes but if they do not, his lieutenant will.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia was confused at this.
“I was supposed to wake her? I didn’t.” Alessia spoke.
“No. The Dark One got impatient. Ishamael is known to take his time. Draw things out.” Liandrin replied.
“What does that have to do with me?” Alessia asked.
“The Dragon broke the world last time. People are going to be afraid that you will do it again.” Liandrin replied.
“That is not going to happen. I cannot dream about hurting those I love and care about!” Alessia spoke. Liandrin’s eyes went a little wide at this. They glistened.
“Are you saying you love me?” Liandrin asked. Alessia blushed and nodded her head without breaking eye contact.
