Days had passed since she started working with Joiya of the Gray Ajah. She yawned lightly while setting the book aside she had been reading on her own. Hearing voices in the hallways while walking past. She tilted her head back and felt the sun against her face.
“I was wondering where you went.” A voice she knew well came. She looked to her right and saw Jane walking up to her and sat down. Enjoying the weather with her.
“I want to go on a mission already.” Alessia sighed at this.
“You will. Don’t worry. Any mentors?” Jane asked.
“You can’t tell anyone.” Alessia spoke as Jane gasped with a smile. Folding her hands in her lap.
“Who is it? I promise!” Jane spoke.
“Liandrin Sedai.” Alessia whispered. Hearing Jane gasp yet again before hugging her. Alessia chuckled and patted her back. Hearing footsteps as they both looked up to see Alanna heading towards them.
“Daughter Jane, if you do not mind. I would like to take daughter Alessia for a lesson.” Alanna spoke with a smile.
“Not at all, Alanna Sedai.” Jane spoke as she stood up and bowed before taking her leave. Alessia stood up with her book and bowed as well.
“A lesson on the weekend, Alanna Sedai?” Alessia asked as Alanna nodded.
“Yes, I am taking you out of the Tower actually. Just for a little fun.” Alanna spoke with a wink. Alessia gasped at this and smiled. “Go pack a few clothes and meet me by the stables.” Alanna spoke as Alessia nodded. She turned her heels and quickly made her way down the hallway to the Accepted quarters of the Tower. Alessia was humming while entering her room. Grabbing her bag and placing her necessities with her clothes into the bag. She stopped and looked around to make sure she didn’t forget anything. She decided it was best to tell Liandrin what was happening. Putting the strap over her shoulder and taking her leave. Looking into her room one last time before closing her door to leave. She had her hand against the wall tracing it as she was walking down to another hallway. Wondering if Liandrin was in her room or the common room for the reds. She stopped and looked around.
“Tarna Sedai.” Alessia spoke as she spotted the red ajah and walked up to her. Giving her a bow.
“Daughter Alessia. What brings you here?” Tarna asked.
“Have you seen Liandrin Sedai?” Alessia asked.
“Yes, she’s in the common room. Everything alright?” Tarna asked.
“Yes, I wanted to let her know that Alanna Sedai is taking me out of the Tower for a few days.” Alessia spoke.
“Oh, yes. Sister Liandrin will want to know. Wait here.” Tarna spoke as Alessia nodded. She leaned against the wall. The sun was past noon now as she heard the footsteps again.
“Sister Tarna told me you are leaving?” Liandrin’s voice came as Alessia pushed herself off of the wall and nodded. “Where?” Liandrin asked.
“She didn’t say. Just for a lesson.” Alessia spoke. Liandrin sighed at this and shook her head.
“I do not want you going.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia raised a brow at her. “I would like to speak to daughter Alessia in private.” Liandrin spoke as Tarna nodded and took her leave. Once she was gone, Alessia felt her arm grab gently as she was guided down the hallway and into a room. Hearing the door close as Liandrin turned to face her.
“What are you not telling me?” Liandrin asked.
“All Alanna Sedai said is that she is taking me out of the Tower for a few days for a lesson.” Alessia replied.
“Hmm.” Liandrin spoke as she did not seem convinced. Liandrin then grabbed a bag and opened the door. Motioning her head for Alessia to follow and she did.

“Ah, sister Liandrin. What brings you here?” Alanna asked with a smile.
“If you allow it. I would like to join you out of the Tower.” Liandrin spoke.
“I see. I was hoping it would just be my warders, Alessia and I.” Alanna spoke. “Though, the more, the merrier!” Alanna spoke as Liandrin smiled at this. “Come. Day is wasting.” Alanna spoke as she mounted a horse. Alessia mounted a horse that Liandrin was on.
“Are you sure you want a Red with us?” One of Alanna’s warders whispered to Alanna.
“We will be alright.” Alanna replied. Alessia wrapped her arms around Liandrin’s middle so she would not slip. Feeling her hand caressed as she blushed and hid her face against Liandrin’s back.
“Let us head out.” Alanna spoke as she took the lead. Alessia felt the horse move. Gripping tighter before letting loose.
“May I know where we are heading?” Liandrin asked. Seeing the people of Tar Valon parting ways to allow them through the street.
“The forest. There is a place there where I want to teach daughter Alessia some things.” Alanna spoke.
“I thought Joiya Sedai was teaching me at the moment?” Alessia asked.
“You forget Alessia. I am also one of your teachers in a class.” Alanna spoke. “I also got special permission from Mother.” Alanna added. Alessia nodded her head at this. “Don’t worry. We will not be far from the Tower.” The battle ajah added. They were now crossing the bridge as Alessia was looking around the area now. She was curious. It was in an area she hadn’t been to yet. She could see boats in the river. Fishermen gather fish with their nets. She could see in the distance where there were farmlands. Then she saw a forest not far ahead of them. Looking up to the sky as she shielded her eyes. The sun was setting. The air was cooling off. Then the scene changed. So much lush green now surrounded her. She could smell the fresh air after the rain in the forest. The trees danced when the wind blew. The leaves were singing when they moved. There was a river nearby as she could hear it against the stone.
“We are here.” Alanna spoke as she dismounted her horse. Alessia hopped off as well. Offering her hand to Liandrin who took it and hopped off. Alessia walked over to the men to help unpack the tents.
“Well, Alessia’s tent is small but I am sure you both can make do.” Alanna spoke.
“No worries Alanna Sedai. We will be alright.” Alessia spoke as she was helping set up the green tent. It was smaller than the ones they traveled with a while back. Not that she minded. She smiled once the tent was up as she walked over to start on the one she would be staying in. Seeing it moved on its own as she gasped. Stepping back. She could see weaves. Liandrin had set the tent up in mere seconds.
“Thank you, Liandrin Sedai.” Alessia spoke.
“Alright. We are heading out to get dinner.” Ihvon spoke as Alessia nodded. Watching the two men take their leave.
“Alanna Sedai. I am going to gather firewood.” Alessia spoke.
“Very good. Sister Liandrin, go with her please.” Alanna spoke. Liandrin nodded and bowed before taking the lead. Alessia turned on her feet and followed Liandrin down a small path that led into a thicker part of the forest.

Alessia ran past Liandrin and stopped by the river. Taking her boots off.
“What are you doing?” Liandrin asked.
“Going into the water.” Alessia spoke as she moved quickly. Splashing as she went. “Oh, it’s refreshing!” Alessia spoke with a soft laugh.
“You are much different now.” Liandrin spoke as Alessia looked at her with a smile. Liandrin had taken a seat near the riverbank. Alessia splashed the woman in red a little. Liandrin gave her a look before weaving. Alessia shouted and fell into the water. HEaring the river in her ears as she pushed her way to the top again. Seeing Liandrin smirking at her. Alessia scoffed with another laugh before slowly making her way out of the river. She was now shivering. A wind gust went against her. Instantly drying her clothes and hair. Liandrin was standing next to her as she dropped her weave.
“How come I haven’t learned that yet?” Alessia asked.
“It’s really simple.” Liandrin spoke as she was showing Alessia the weave. She took her stance and followed the movement and the weave.
“It is a weave of air. Easiest to learn.” Liandrin added.
“I thought earth was?” Alessia asked while looking at Liandrin. Seeing the red ajah gave her a questioning look.
“Earth is easier for you?” Liandrin asked as Alessia nodded.
“I guess it’s because I always feel more connected to the earth.” Alessia explained as she weaved. Moving rocks around them with ease in a circle before dropping them.
“So, healing may be your talent.” Liandrin spoke as Alessia looked up to her.
“I don’t know. I thought I almost killed myself from healing Moiraine Sedai.” Alessia spoke.
“No. You exerted yourself. Drained up your energy.” Liandrin explained. Alessia nodded at this and put her boots back on. She was now walking next to Liandrin on the path. Picking up any sticks that seemed good to burn. She stopped by a tree.
“What is it?” Liandrin asked. Alessia was focused on the tree in front of her. She saw a small white orb that was made from silk. Seeing it split open and hundreds of spiders came from it. She stepped back and bumped into Liandrin who was behind her also watching. Seeing the spiders all hurry out of sight either up or down the tree then a larger black spider came. Alessia reached out and placed her hand on the tree. The spider slowly crawled onto her hand. Watching her. Alessia held it close and smiled.
“How are you not terrified of that?” Liandrin asked as she was now a few feet away from Alessia who was watching the spider.
“Release me…” A voice on the wind whispered.
“Did you hear that?” Alessia asked as the Red Ajah shook her head. “Am I going mad?” Alessia then frowned. Putting the spider back onto the tree. She turned right into a pair of hands. Liandrin was cupping her cheeks.
“Of course not my love. Hearing the wind speak to us is part of our power. It tells us the weather and what will happen on the horizon.” Liandrin spoke. She raised a brow.
“Your friends Nynaeve and Egwene both spoke about listening to the wind. Maybe speak to them about it once we get back?” Liandrin asked as she nodded. “Come. Let us head back, hmm?” She asked as well. Alessia had finished picking up more sticks as her arms were now both full. Following the red ajah back to the camp. Alanna had a small fire already lit. Her warders were not back yet. She set the firewood nearby and walked over to the green ajah. Sitting down next to her.

The moon was slowly rising as they had finished eating their dinner. Alessia was cleaning the dishes they had used. Setting them aside as she finished. Weaving the air that Liandrin had taught her and drying the dishes. Smiling at her work before packing them back up. She sat back down. There was silence between everyone.
“What lesson am I going to be learning, Alanna Sedai?” Alessia then asked while breaking the silence.
“Moon dancing.” Alanna spoke with a smile.
“Ooh. What is that?” Alessia asked.
“It’s an old dance that has been taught for centuries in my family. I wish to teach you. Only women who can channel can do this. We draw energy from the moon when it is its fullest. We draw power from the moon.” Alanna explained. Alessia was curious on how to do this.
“Oh, I cannot wait.” Alessia spoke.
“Good! Come! Let us get started.” Alanna spoke as she stood up. Alessia did as well and began to follow Alanna down another path. Liandrin was also following. Not wanting to let Alessia out of her sight. Alanna in the lead, Alessia in the center and Liandrin behind. Both warders decided to stay in camp just in case. Alessia was humming softly with her hands behind her back as she kept feeling a hand on her lower back. They came into a small clearing. Alessia looked around with a small smile. Seeing several wild flowers in the bushes between the trees all around them.
“Here it will be perfect.” Alanna spoke as stopped in the center. Closing her eyes as she tilted her head back. Alessia looked at Liandrin who was now leaning against a tree watching. Alessia turned back and walked up to Alanna who looked at her. “Close your eyes and open yourself up to the moon. Feel the energy that it gives you.” Alanna spoke. Alessia closed her eyes as she tilted her head back. Feeling the moon’s shining on her. She stayed there for a moment and then felt it. She smiled softly.
“Feel it?” Alanna asked.
“I do.” Alessia replied. She looked back at Alanna again.
“Now. Come. Let us dance.” Alanna spoke as Alessia was watching. Stepping around in the circle while watching Alanna. “You won’t learn unless you follow.” Alanna spoke while eyeing her.
“My apologies, Alanna Sedai.” Alessia spoke as she started following the battle ajah in her moments. “I was wondering. Could you teach me what you did back at the battle?” Alessia asked as she began to channel as she felt the moon.
“Teach you what?” Alanna asked as she turned. Alessia turned as well.
“That battle weave. The one that looked like air.” Alessia spoke while describing the weave that was used.
“Curious about battles now are we? We’ll make you into a battle ajah yet!” Alanna chuckled. “Well, I can show you tomorrow if you wish.” Alanna spoke as Alessia nodded with a smile. “You better pick up the moves here first.” Alanna added. She stopped and bowed before following again. This time, she was in sync with Alanna. Smiling non stop when her eyes caught Liandrin’s. The older woman had this look upon her face that Alessia had seen once. When Moiraine was looking at Siuan. She knew that look. She gave Liandrin her rare smile before following Alanna again. Stepping to the side as she let the energy take over, she didn’t hear a twig snap.
“Stop!” Liandrin’s voice whispered harshly. Alessia stopped and looked around. Alanna was battle ready. She looked over her shoulder and saw a shadow move. Alessia stopped as she was watching the shadow.
‘Release me…’ The shadow called out to her. Alessia felt a connection to it. She wanted to move to it. Help the shadow. As if…it was part of her.
“There!” Alessia whispered. Alanna had shot a weave of air towards it. Hearing a shot. Both of her warders had come running in.
“Take her back to camp sister! I’ll handle this!” Alanna spoke.
“I can help!” Alessia spoke.
“No. Get to safety.” Alanna ordered. Alessia nodded as she felt Liandrin grab her hand and pulled her away. Leading her back to the camp.

“What do you think it was?” Alessia asked as Liandrin was silent. Seeing the red ajah was on alert. Alessia sighed and looked around. Calling air to her as it was swirling around her arms.
“You can relax.” Alanna’s voice came. Alessia did by dropping her weaves with a sigh of relief.
“What was it?” Liandrin asked.
“I do not know. It was gone quickly as it came. Ihvon thought it was deer Wildlife.” Alanna spoke.
“I do not think it was a deer or wildlife, Alanna Sedai. It looked too tall.” Alessia spoke with a frown.
“I believe you, dear. For now, get some rest.” Alanna spoke as Alessia nodded. She turned and entered the tent she would be staying in. She was on her knees while pulling out a gown from her bag. Changing into it right when Liandrin had entered. She stopped moving when she felt the older woman’s presence right behind her. Touching her bare shoulder gently. Then a pair of lips.
“Are you alright?” Liandrin asked in a whisper.
“Yes.” Alessia replied back. Pulling the gown over her shoulders and turning. Facing Liandrin. “I just can’t shake the feeling it gave me when I saw it.” Alessia then spoke.
“What feeling?” Liandrin asked as she was now changing. Alessia could barely make out the scars across Liandrin’s back. She frowned at this.
“It called out to me. I…” Alessia began as Liandrin cupped her cheek.
“You what?” She asked.
“I wanted to help it. Be with it.” Alessia confessed.
“The Dark One may have found you.” Liandrin whispered. “You are safe now.”  Alessia nodded her head lightly at this. She leaned against Liandrin who in turn, wrapped an arm around her.
“Have you heard from Moiraine?” Liandrin asked.
“No. I haven’t written to her yet.” Alessia confessed.
“Maybe you should. Ask if she knows anything yet.” Liandrin spoke as she pulled out a writing tool and parchment. “Write to her.” Liandrin spoke as Alessia nodded. Taking the items. Pulling out a book she took from the Tower and set the parchment on it. She began to write.

Dear Moiraine,
How are you? I apologize that I have not written to you sooner. I took my Acceptance test and passed. I am now an Accepted at the Tower. It’s been silent at the Tower when the sisters are away with my friends. Alanna Sedai has been teaching me to absorb energy from the moon. To use it. I enjoy learning what the Tower has to offer and teach us. I have learned much. I still struggle at some things. Such as Old Tongue. I hope to catch up. I am also writing to see how you are. I hope you are well. Have you found any more information about the dreams? I have decided to do some research on my own as well while I am at the Tower. Many wishes that you are well.
-Alessia.

Alessia folded the letter a few times and tied it shut. Setting it into her bag for now.
“Done.” Alessia spoke. Liandrin was already laying down. Alessia laid down as well. Right into Liandrin’s arms. “You gave me a look earlier. During the dance.” Alessia added.
“Did I?” Liandrin asked with a smile. Alessia nodded her head. Tracing the older woman’s jawline with her finger before leaning in and kissing her. It was soft and gentle. Feeling her wet lips sent shivers down her spine. Blushing as she pulled back. Laying on her back while looking up. There was no top on the tent, how she wanted it. Looking at the stars that some of the trees were covering. Alessia felt a hand against her stomach.
“What’s on your mind my little Dragon?” Liandrin whispered into her ear. Alessia shifted to turn onto her side. Facing Liandrin.
“How can I be safe? There are going to be missions that I will have to go on without you.” Alessia spoke.
“Hmm.” Liandrin spoke before cupping her cheek. The older woman was now moving. Above her as Alessia was watching her. Staring right into her eyes.
“What are you doing?” Alessia asked softly.
“Bond with me.” Liandrin spoke softly. Alessia felt shivers again.
“We aren’t supposed to.” Alessia spoke softly in return.
“You are mine. In every way.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia was wondering why this woman was going soft on her. She was used to seeing the older woman hard as a shell. All the Novices and Accepteds feared her. With good reason. Then here she was. Falling for this woman more everyday. Alessia nodded her head lightly. Liandrin leaned in and took the lead. Kissing her deeply while weaving. Alessia gasped as she could feel the weaves slowly circling both of them. Returning the kiss with passion. Then there was a tightening feeling on her heart and body. There was an overwhelming sensation as Alessia pulled back a little. Liandrin took advantage of this and kissed down her neck. She could feel Liandrin now as the older woman could feel her. The Red Ajah kept kissing down to her collar bone and then she felt it. Liandrin placed her knee between her thighs and pressed up. Sending shockwaves of pleasure all over.

Many birds were singing in the trees nearby as Alessia was leaning against a tree. Reading a book. Looking up and shielding her eyes while seeing the sun was high in the sky. It must have been noon for a while now. She stood up and brushed off the dirt from her clothes. Picking up the basket that was by her. Looking around, she was not in her Accepted whites. Shrugging at this while putting her hands behind her back with her book while walking down a dirt path. She sidestepped to get out of the way of a wagon heading into the town. Children running after the wagon. Shouting for sweets.
“No sweets!” The man shouted while laughing. Alessia smiled. She was in Tarabon right now. The town seemed peaceful. Not like when it was attacked. The women were still there. Even the young girls.
“Alright there?” A voice spoke. Alessia turned and nodded her head.
“Of course sir! How are things with you?” She asked as she stopped. It was the blacksmith. He was working on making iron tools for the farmers.
“Well enough. My son is nowhere to be found. Have you seen him?” The man asked.
“I have not. I shall let him know if I do see him.” Alessia replied. She gave the man a small bow before taking her leave. Walking down the street again as the man at the wagon pulled out his trinkets and items. She stopped to look around at it.
“May I have a few of those herbs.” Alessia spoke while pointing.
“Four marks each.” He spoke. Alessia raised a brow at him.
“You raised the prices?” She asked.
“Got to make a living.” The man spoke. Alessia sighed and pulled out eight marks and handed it to the man. “Pleasure doing business.” He spoke.
“Yeah, sure.” Alessia replied while putting the herbs into her basket. Hearing the man chuckle again as she took her leave. Shaking her head. She inhaled the fresh air before stopping at the market. Looking around to see if they had any fresh meat or fruit. She sighed a little.
“What is it dear?” A woman asked.
“I was hoping for some fresh meat.” Alessia spoke. There was only jerky now.
“I have a small roast. That is all.” The woman spoke.
“I will take it.” Alessia spoke. Pulling out the money and handing it to the woman.
“Here are some carrots and potatoes to go with it.” The woman added.
“Thank you!” Alessia bowed to the woman and headed back to her home.

She lit the fire and sat down near it. Grabbing the small firewood to place into the fire before making the food. While it was slow cooking, she went into her bedroom and stopped. A woman she had never met before was sitting on her bed.
“Hello dear. Such an interesting room you have.” The soft voice spoke. The woman had dark hair past her shoulders, dark eyes, and pale skin. She looked kind.
“Who are you?” Alessia asked. The woman chuckled lightly and stood up. Walking up to Alessia. She backed up into a wall. The woman was taller than her. She is wearing black slacks and a white button up shirt. Long sleeves with a black coak. Watching the basket taken from her and set aside. Alessia was looking to the side when she felt her chin lifted. “Who are you?” Alessia asked again.
“Someone who has been dying to meet you.” The woman replied. She leaned in. Alessia could have sworn the woman took in her scent. The taller woman’s forehead was against her temple. She could hear her heart beating in her ears. Fingers tracing down her arm sent waves of goosebumps across her arms.
“You my dear. Very much prettier than I expected.” The woman spoke.
“What did you expect?” Alessia asked. Her chin grabbed again as she was now staring into the dark eyes.
“Someone well, short and immature.” The woman replied. Alessia scoffed.
“Wait until you get to know me then.” Alessia spoke as she moved away. Feeling her arm grabbed as she was pushed against the wall again. Her cheek cupped and caressed by a thumb.
“Oh, I am going to do just that.” The woman whispered. Feeling the taller woman’s nose against her cheek as she could feel the hot breath against her.
“Why are you here?” Alessia asked.
“I want to know you, Alessia.” The woman spoke. Her voice. It was familiar but how? She asked herself.
“How do you know my name?” Alessia asked. She was now getting nervous.
“Don’t you know? Blood calls blood.” The woman spoke. Then it clicked.
“Lanfear!” Alessia shouted. She weaved so fast, she pushed the weave from her chest. Pushing Lanfear back. The woman looked at her and then laughed.
“I knew I’d like you!” Lanfear spoke as she weaved. Pushing Alessia against the wall.
“What do you want?” Alessia asked.
“You my little dragon.” The Forsaken spoke.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Alessia spoke.
“Hmmm. But you do know. You’ve heard my voice as well. Ishamael told me all about you.” The woman spoke. Alessia was only silent at this. “Don’t be afraid my dear. I am not going to hurt you.” Lanfear spoke.
“How do I know you are telling the truth? You’ve sworn to the Shadows!” Alessia hissed.
“My my. He didn’t tell me you are a feisty one.” Lanfear spoke with a gasp and a smile.
“Let me go.” Alessia hissed. Feeling Lanfear sighs and steps back. Releasing her. Alessia kept her eyes on the woman before her.
“You should wake up.” Lanfear spoke as she leaned back in. Placing a kiss upon Alessia’s cheek. She gasped as the wind had hit her.

Alessia leaned up quickly and gasped. Liandrin had sat up quickly. She had a worried look upon her face.
“Just a nightmare.” Alessia spoke while catching her breath. She could feel the older woman as she closed her eyes and inhaled. This was new territory to her.
“This is new for me as well.” Liandrin spoke.
“How did you?” Alessia asked with a raised brow.
“Lucky guess.” Liandrin replied. Alessia nodded at this and laid back down. Her nightgown was off to the side. Feeling a finger on her cheek as she was forced to look at Liandrin who was lying next to her.
“What happened in your dreams?” Liandrin asked.
“I hope it was just a dream.” Alessia spoke with a frown.
“Tell me.” Liandrin spoke. She knew the woman could feel her. Her worries. Her fears.
“I think I met Lanfear.” Alessia spoke. Liandrin was studying her. Her eyes shone worry in them
“Did she say anything?” Liandrin asked.
“She knows.” Alessia spoke. That was all she had to say as Liandrin sat up and began to dress. Alessia grabbed a clean dress and put it on along with other things. Putting her boots on.
“Come. We should head back to the Tower.” Liandrin spoke as Alanna was already eating.
“Why?” She asked. Tilting her head with a curious look.
“I thought she had other lessons.” Liandrin spoke while hearing a horse come to the clearing.
“A rider.” Ihvon spoke as the other warder walked up to it.
“What is it, Maksim?” Alanna asked as she stood up.
“A rider. Message for Liandrin Sedai.” Maksim spoke as he handed the note to Liandrin. The red ajah took the note and opened it. Reading it before sighing.
“I am called onto a mission. I am to leave as soon as possible.” Liandrin spoke. They all nodded. The red ajah went back into the tent as Alessia followed her. Seeing the older woman pack her things as Alessia sighed.
“Do not worry. I shall be back before you know it.” Liandrin spoke as Alessia nodded. She stepped in front of Liandrin and cupped her cheeks. “Keep yourself open to me.” Liandrin added.
“I can’t mask because I do not know how.” Alessia spoke. Seeing the woman smile at this before leaning in. Alessia went straight in. Feeling the wet soft lips against hers.
“Be safe, love.” Alessia spoke with a smile. Liandrin nodded and kissed her forehead before taking her leave.

She took her leave from the tent in time to see Alanna handing out plates of food that was hunted down earlier.
“We will head back after your lesson today.” Alanna spoke as Alessia nodded and sat down on a log. Eating her food slowly. “You and sister Liandrin seem close.” Alanna spoke as she nudged Alessia who coughed on her food. Hearing chuckles from the men. She managed to swallow her food.
“She wants to be my mentor.” Alessia spoke while looking into the fire.
“How does that make you feel?” Alanna asked as she took the finished plates and handed them to her wardres.
“I admire her. Much. She’s strong and confident. Cares about her sisters.” Alessia spoke as she faced Alanna with a smile.
“Well. If she does become your mentor, I hope she treats you well and teaches you. Not to go easy on you either.” Alanna spoke. Alessia nodded at this. She stood up and walked over. Helping clean up and pack up. Knowing the battle ajah would want to leave right after the lesson. “Come along dear.” Alanna then spoke as she stood up. Taking the lead to the clearing out in the field. Seeing the woman began to weave air and earth around her. Alessia was watching closely. Remembering the warning that Liandrin had told her. Seeing a ball of controlled air, or was it? It made her curious. Watching Alanna throw it forward with such elegance and ease. It exploded not far from them. Alessia gasped and clapped her hands. She was ready to start.
“You call air and earth to you. It is a ball of uncontrolled air. Why?” Alanna asked.
“Um. Because they are two elements working against each other?” Alessia made a guess.
“That is correct.” Alanna spoke. Alessia was shocked and smiled. “Because they are opposite of each other, when done correctly, it becomes a powerful weave.” Alanna spoke as she began to weave again. Showing Alessia the weave. Alessia was watching closely. She knew earth would come to her easily. The weave itself was easy but she pretended to struggle. She was at this for hours. Concentrating on the weave. Knowing full well she already had it down.
“It will not be easy. You may not get it the first few tries.” Alanna spoke. Alessia nodded and dropped the weave before picking it back up again. Weaving the two elements together before she felt a gust of wind. Coughing as dust was surrounding her now.
“Want to take a break? It is a complicated weave after all.” Alanna spoke.
“No. I can do this.” Alessia spoke as she weaved again. Another gust of wind. Coughing and waving her hand to clear the air from her face. She weaved again. This time, she created it perfectly. Feeling the uncontrolled air between her hands before tossing it ahead of her. Creating a small explosion. She laughed and jumped up and down a few times.
“Look at you my dear!” Alanna clapped with a chuckle before patting Alessia’s shoulder.
“Another weave?” Alessia asked.
“You have too much energy my dear. We need to head back to the Tower.” Alanna spoek. Alessia frowned and nodded at this. It started to rain lightly. She looked up to see a few clouds covering the sun.
“Best to head back then!” Alanna spoke as Alessia nodded. She quickly went to the horse she came on and mounted on it. Seeing Alanna take the lead. Alessia was now sweating and tired. Wanting to bathe when she got back.
“You know. You did really well at that battle a while back.” Alessia spoke.
“You saw?” Alanna asked.
“Yes. I was really impressed. I always wanted to learn after that day. I want to learn everything that I can.” Alessia spoke.
“I see. Perhaps I can convince you to become a green.” Alanna spoke as Alessia looked at the green ajah who winked at her. Alessia chuckled at this. Hearing a single voice in the wind now.
‘Release me…’ It was a woman’s voice. It called to her. As if it was pulling her heart. Alessia looked around to see where it came from but she saw nothing. Wondering what it was. She wanted to help whoever it was. Taking a deep breath as she followed the green ajah back to the Tower.
