Moiraine’s POV

She could hear voices talking. A small warmth nearby. Lan’s voice she could make out better than the others. There was another voice. It sounded so familiar. Who was it? She felt the poison slowly reaching towards her heart. She knew. She had known from the start. She was not going to make it. Has it really come to this? The end? She spent over twenty years searching for the Dragon only to be taken down by a Trolloc? No. There had to be something. Something else. She had found four potential young adults. Five is she counted the one in Tarabon but she didn’t channel. There was a new warmth. It had spread through her body. Her energy slowly returned. She gasped and leaned up. Her vision blurry but slowly came back. She blinked a few times and looked at her savior.
“Alessia? What are you doing here?” Moiraine asked as she saw the young channeler sway a little before falling to her side onto the ground. She quickly moved over and felt the young woman’s forehead.
“Where are we?” Moiraine asked while looking at Lan. He had a look on his face that she did not like. Hearing a scream as the horses began a commotion. “You’ve doomed us all!” Moiraine spoke in a calm voice. “Grab her.” Moiraine ordered as she slowly stood up. She was still weak but managed to quickly move. Seeing the darkness spreading around the place. They were getting separated.
“What do we do?” Egwene’s panicked voice made her look in the direction it came from.
“Get to the White Tower as soon as you can! We will be separated but for a short time!” Moiraine spoke as she quickly mounted the horse. Seeing the darkness quickly spreading. Seeing Alessia on Lan’s horse before taking the lead. Moiraine grunted and kicked her horse’s sides and made it gallop out of the now darkened city.
“What were you thinking?” Moiraine asked as they slowed down. Pulling on the reins.
“Can you heal her?” Lan asked as he dismounted. Setting Alessia down gently. Moiraine followed. Getting on her knees and placing a hand upon the woman’s forehead. She closed her eyes and called upon the Source. Nothing came.
“I am afraid that I cannot until my body is more rested. How did this happen?” Moiraine asked while looking at Lan again.
‘She followed us into the city. She said something was attacked and that she was chased. She said she’s never healed a Trolloc wound before. I assume it took a lot out of her.” Lan explained.
“Either she is weak in the One Power or she is untrained.” Moiraine spoke.
“She’s a Wilder?” Lan asked. Moiraine nodded her head lightly at this.
“Yes. We’ll need to take her to the Tower. Hopefully we can find a sister before then. She needs healing.” Moiraine spoke as a twig snapped. She jumped up with her dagger in her hand. Seeing someone come out of the shadows.
“Where are my friends?” Nynaeve’s voice came.
“The Dark One is after them.” Lan spoke as he stood up as well.
“If anything happens to them.” Nynaeve began.
“If anything happens, they should know to head to the Tower.” Moiraine spoke while watching Nynaeve. “You’re a healer right? Can you heal her?” Moiraine asked as she waved her hand towards Alessia.
“Who is she?” Nynaeve asked.
“She’s someone we are taking with us.” Moiraine answered.
“You said that about my friends. Now look where they are!” Nynaeve spoke as she swung at Lan who was quickly.
“Oh, You actually tried to kill me.” He spoke while holding Nynaeve’s arms from behind her and took the dagger from her. Tying her hands with a rope. Hearing a roar in the distance again.
“We need to go. Now!” Moiraine ordered. Seeing Lan hoist Nynaeve on his horse as Moiraine had Alessia on hers.

Night had left as morning came. They were resting in a lush green clearing in the forest. Moiraine was silent while keeping her eyes upon Alessia.
“Can you do something?” Lan’s voice asked Nynaeve who was tied to a tree nearby. Watching her warder take the water skin and give Nynaeve a drink.
“Why should I help you? She’s an Aes Sedai for all I know.” Nynaeve glared at them.
“She’s not. She’s from Tarabon.” Moiraine spoke as she moved a strand from Alessia’s face to behind her ear. Watching the woman slowly breathe.
“How do you know her?” Nynaeve asked.
“I met her in Tarabon. Several months back. I did not know she tracked us all this way.” Moiraine answered. Seeing Lan untie Nynaeve as the young Wisdom took her leave to another part of the area. Watching her gather herbs.
“What are you doing?” Moiraine then asked.
“Medicine. It should give you some strength and her. Hopefully it helps.” Nynaeve spoke as she crushed the herbs in her mortar. Hot water was added. Like it was tea. Nynaeve poured two cups. Moiraine took one and blew on it. Cooling it down.
“Help me.” Nynaeve spoke as Moiraine nodded. Reaching over as she helped raise Alessia’s head. Hearing a horse neigh as she looked over.

“Where are you going?” Moiraine asked.
“To see if the camp is nearby. You heard the White Cloaks. The Tower sent out seven of your sisters.” Lan spoke. Moiriane nodded her head and watched her warder leave. She took her own cup and drank it slowly. She could feel the effects slowly take in. She sighed a little and leaned back.
“Blood.” Alessia’s voice weakly spoke. Hearing a grumble as Moiraine was touching her forehead.
“Alessia, can you hear me?” Moiraine asked.
“Calls blood.” Alessia weakly spoke before she was out of it.
“Why couldn’t you heal her?” Nynaeve then asked.
“The Trolloc poison took a lot out of me. Sometimes when you drain your energy tremendously, you cannot channel for a time.” Moiraine explained.
“And her?” Nynaeve nodded towards Alessia.
“She came to us last night. Used her power to heal me. Exerted herself in the process. She will be fine once we get her healed.” Moiraine explained. “How did you find us?” She asked while looking back at the young Wisdom.
“I tracked Lan down. I assume the same way she did.” Nynaeve waved at Alessia.
“Come with us. To the Tower. Your friends should be making their way there. You can also learn to use your Wisdom power much better as well.” Moiraine spoke.
“Think I don’t know how to use it?” Nynaeve asked in a snap.
“No. All I am saying is that the Tower can make you stronger.” Moiraine spoke. She was watching the Wisdom closely. Watching her body language. She knew the woman was uncomfortable around her.
“Get some rest. It may be a while before he returns.” Moiraine spoke as she laid down near Alessia. Making sure she was warm. Hearing the gallop of a horse as she sat back up. It felt hours when Lan had finally returned.
“Well?” Moiraine asked.
“I found a camp. Definitely your sisters. Especially the Reds. Can she ride?” Lan asked while nodding towards Alessia.
“Yes. Just make sure she doesn’t fall off.” Nynaeve spoke. Moiraine nodded and packed up quickly.
“Ride with Lan. I’ll take Alessia.” Moiraine instructed as Lan picked up the young woman. She mounted her horse and sighed. Pulling Alessia up while watching the other two. Lan had taken the lead again.
“Let's go!” Moiraine shouted at her horse as it picked up speed right away.

The sun was now past noon. The shadows flickered around the trees as they slowed down. Moiraine looked around. They were riding for hours. She was getting tired again. Then she heard other horses going silent. She looked up and saw green ajah on the cliff. A green to her right as well. Hearing a wagon being pulled as she looked to the front. It was two reds riding behind a cage as a man was inside of it.
“Moiraine Sedai.” A voice spoke.
“Liandrin Sedai.” Moiraine responded.
“If you’re here to help. You are too late.” Liandrin spoke as she was smiling with pride.
“What do you speak of?” Moiraine asked.
“We captured a man who calls himself the Dragon.” Liandrin spoke. She knew the man was not the Dragon. He was too old.
“Can we camp?” Lan asked.
“We still need to be moving.” Another voice spoke. It was more cheery and upbeat. A green had moved her horse forward.
“Alanna Sedai.” Moiraine spoke with a smile.
“Good to see you sister. It seems you have company?” Alanna asked.
“Yes. This one needs healing. I exerted myself.” Moiraine explained.
“You have odd company. Very well. We will settle here tonight.” Liandrin spoke loudly as more came into view as they dismounted their horses. Seeing another warder walk up to her.
“Let me take her.” He spoke.
“Thank you Stephin.” Moiraine nodded her head.
“Who is that?” Liandrin asked as she was helping unload the wagon.
“You’ve met her before. Alessia.” Moiraine spoke as she dismounted her horse to help.
“From Tarabon? Why is she here?” The red asked.
“She’s a channeler.” Moiraine answered.
“How did she find you?” Liandrin asked. Moiraine only kept her silence as she turned to help Alanna set up the green tent. It did not take long as her sisters used their power to help get everything set up right away. A fire was built and a few warders sent out for dinner. She entered the green tent to see Alessia on one of the makeshift beds. Moiraine sat down near her and sighed.
“Where did you find her?” Another green asked as she came in. Slowly channeling from her chest. The weave circled her wrist as she placed it against Alessia’s chest. Hearing a soft gasp as Alessia’s breathing was normal again.
“She’ll wake up in a minute.” The green spoke as she poured a cup of tea.
“You’ve held back armies Kerene. Surely a simple healing weave should have not tired you out.” Moiraine spoke. Taking a cup of tea as well.
“It didn’t. He did. It takes two of us to shield him. There was a soft grunt and the makeshift bed had moved. Moiraine looked over and saw Alessia sitting up while holding her head.

Normal POV

Alessia felt a warm sensation upon her chest. She took a deep breath and laid there for a moment. She was hearing voices. One belonged to Moiraine and the other Kerene. She had gotten her name. She then shifted on the bed and groaned. Holding onto her head. Blinking a few times as she looked up. Both Aes Sedai were watching her.
“Thank you, Kerene Sedai.” Alessia spoke softly as the woman in green nodded her head. “I see it worked.” Alessia then spoke while looking at Moiraine who nodded.
“Where did you learn to channel?” Kerene asked.
“I never learned. It just came to me.” Alessia spoke.
“You brought us… A Wilder Moiraine. Not many at the Tower will like her.” Kerene then spoke.
“What is a Wilder?” Alessia asked with a confused look.
“A channeler who learned how to channel on their own without the training of an Aes Sedai.” Moiraine replied. Alessia frowned at this. She nodded her head to show she understood.
“Come. Let’s get you walking. I want to see this False Dragon.” Moiraine spoke as she stood up. Alessia stood up as well. She stretched her arms to get her body loose. She then followed Moiraine out of the green tent. She looked around the camp. There were more reds than greens. Moiraine was the only blue. She only saw one familiar face and that was Lan. He was speaking to another young woman she hadn’t met before.
“Alessia.” Moiraine’s soft voice guided her as she turned and followed the woman in blue. They had entered a cave where a man was caged. His eyes were closed as he was sitting on his knees.
“How did you get him?” Moiraine asked. There was a red and green shielding the man.
“A plan after your own heart. We snuck into their camp and shielded him before taking our leave.” Liandrin answered.
“Hello there dear. What’s your name?” Alanna asked. Alessia felt all eyes on her as she turned to her right.
“Alessia.” She spoke and gave Alanna a bow.
“Ah. She’s beautiful.” Alanna spoke with a smile. “No wonder why you brought her.” Alanna chuckled. Alessia raised a brow before turning back to the man. His eyes were opened as he was watching her. She slowly walked around the cage as the Aes Sedai were talking with each other. The man never broke eye contact with her.
“Can he hear us?” Alessia asked.
“We plugged his ears with weaves of air.” Liandrin spoke as she kept her eyes on Alessia as well.
“He claims to be the Dragon. That’s just a child’s story.” Alessia then sighed while standing near Moiraine again.
“It may be but it gives people hope.” Alanna spoke.
“Rumors have been going around a lot lately. That the Dragon has been reborn to us again.” Liandrin added. The light blue eyes never left her.
“Let me help. I’ve gotten most of my strength back.” Moiraine spoke as she weaved.
“You’ll need to put your shield on him before Liandrin drops hers.” Kerene explained. Alessia watched the weaving Moiraine had done. Hearing a grunt from both women.
“Feel that? That’s half his power.” Liandrin spoke before taking her leave.
“You may go.” Moiraine spoke to Alessia who nodded her head.

She found herself on the cliff. Leaning near a tree while looking around the camp.
“So, you can channel.” A voice spoke as Alessia looked to her left. Sure enough, Liandrin was walking up to her. She nodded her head. Seeing the older woman sit down on a stump. Alessia sat down as well.
“Why didn’t you come with us when we took Daughter Jane?” Liandrin asked.
“I do not know.” Alessia answered.
“No matter. You are here with us now. That matters.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia was still silent. “Sister Moiraine said you healed her.” Liandrin spoke. It wasn’t a question but pressing for more answers.
“I just did what I thought was right at the time.” Alessia spoke. Her eyes were on the other reds who were in a group speaking to each other as they kept looking over towards her.
“Did she say why you were traveling with them?” Liandrin asked.
“No. I ran into them along the way.” Alessia spoke.
“Them? There are others?” Liandrin was pressing.
“Alessia. Come.” Moiraine’s voice spoke. Alessia stood up and was stopped. She turned as Liandrin’s hand then came to her cheek.
“We’ll talk more later, hmm?” She asked. Alessia couldn’t break eye contact. There was just something in those light blue eyes.
“Alessia.” Her name was called again. Alessia turned and headed down the slope by the cliff. Feeling the dirt slide under her feet as she followed Moiraine to the green tent. It seemed that two other sisters had taken over as Alanna was sitting on a pillow while eating what seemed to be a berry.
“What did Liandrin want?” Moiraine asked.
“You don’t seem to trust each other.” Alessia spoke as Alanna patted a pillow for her to sit and she did.
“She only asked if I could channel and how I ran into you.” Alessia spoke as she took the apple she was offered.
“I would like to speak to Alessia alone please.” Moiraine spoke. Alanna only smiled and nodded before standing up to take her leave. Followed by two men. Once they were alone, Moiraine took no time to talk.
“You need to stay away from the reds.” Moiraine spoke. Alessia raised a brow at the woman in blue. “They are known for getting their noses in things that do not concern them.” The woman added.
“I do not understand. Why are you being so secretive?” Alessia asked.
“You might as well tell her.” Lan’s voice came from outside of the tent.
“I went to the Two Rivers because I believe the Dragon Reborn is there.” Moiraine spoke. Alessia shook her head at this.
“The Dragon again.” Alessia sighed.
“Yes, the Old Blood runs deep there.” Moiraine spoke.
“Old Blood? My mother is from the Two Rivers.” Alessia spoke. Moiraine’s eyes went wide.
“That means you have it as well. Why didn’t you say anything?” Moiraine asked.
“Didn’t think it was important.” Alessia spoke.
“Where is your mother now?” Moiraine asked.
“She passed away when I was born. I only had pictures of her.” Alessia frowned. Feeling her shoulder touched.
“I am sorry to hear that.” Moiraine’s tone was now different. Alessia nodded her head lightly at this.
“If she has the Old Blood and is of age, what would that mean?” Lan began.
“That Alessia is now one of them that could also be the Dragon. There are five of them now.” Moiraine spoke. Alessia felt goosebumps rise on her arms before sighing. She didn’t believe a word Moiraine said.
“I don’t believe you. You could be lying for all I know.” Alessia added.
“An Aes Sedai cannot lie. We took oaths when we rose to the shawl. An unbreakable oath.” Moiraine spoke.
“So, you cannot lie?” Alessia asked as Moiraine shook her head.
“No. Though we can twist our words.” Moiraine smiled softly at this.
“Who are the others?” Alessia then asked.
“Rand, Egwene, Mat, and Perrin. All from the Two Rivers. You.” Moiraine answered. “I can feel the Source again and I can sense that you are strong. How strong is my question.” Moiraine then spoke as she stood up.

Alessia followed Moiraine out of the tent as Lan followed as well.
“Our sisters are wanting to know how strong your little channeler is.” A red spoke as she tilted her body to the side to look at Alessia.
“I’m Tarna Feir.” She spoke.
“Pleasure to meet you Tarna Sedai.” Alessia spoke.
“We were just about to test her.” Moiraine spoke.
“Gather!” Tarna’s voice carried over the camp. Alessia felt uneasy as she watched all the Aes Sedai but two. Liandrin had her arms crossed while watching.
“What’s going on?” Alanna’s voice came.
“We are going to test Alessia’s strength here.” Moiraine spoke. Seeing the woman in blue turn towards her. “This is a simple weave of air. Following my movements.” Moiraine explained as she showed her. Alessia nodded as she was copying the weave before seeing her stand back.
“You all need to stand back.” Alessia gave them a warning. Seeing all the Red Ajah form a circle around her and raise shields. She wondered why they did this. Seeing Moiraine pull out an object.
“This will absorb your power and tell me your strength.” Moiraine then explained. “Hold nothing back.” She added. Alessia nodded and took a deep breath. Closing her eyes as she pulled from the source. She opened her eyes and weaved. Recreating the weave Moiraine showed her. Her hands moved firmly and quickly. Pushing the source not only from her hands but chest as well. Seeing a wave of the source sonicboom from her body.Hearing the trees crash and fall over. The camp was now destroyed. The ground under her shook. A massive cloud of dust hovered over them. Alessia blinked a few times and looked around. Many of the Aes Sedai had worried looks upon their faces. Others had a hopeful look. Liandrin. When their eyes met. There was a look in her eyes that had awoken something up inside of her. The woman in red had a prideful smirk upon her face.
“Look at the trees.” Tarna’s voice came. Once the dust cloud was cleared away, Alessia saw the damage she had caused. She frowned. So many trees around them were broken in half. It looked as if it had gone for miles from her spot.
“I had never seen someone so powerful!” Alanna spoke in a cheerful voice. Alessia was looking at Moiraine with a frown.
“Do not frown my dear. You are very powerful.” Moiraine spoke as she was no longer holding the object. In fact, the object was shattered on the ground. The only reason anyone was standing was because of the red ajah shields.
“I am sorry. I didn't mean to cause such destruction.” Alessia spoke with a frown.
“Do not fear my dear! You are strong. With training, you can get even stronger.” Alanna spoke as she pulled Alessia into a side hug.
“Let’s get this place cleaned up!” Kerene’s voice spoke as the sisters and their warders began to pick up the camp. Alessia went anywhere she could lend her hand to help.

It was now after dark as Alessia was sitting away from everyone while listening to others talk. She couldn’t make out the different voices. Hearing footsteps near her as she turned and saw Liandrin sitting down next to her.
“My sisters have been talking.” Liandrin began.
“I can hear them.” Alessia spoke softly. Her eyes were now on the campfire.
“They are saying you are the most powerful channeler they have ever seen.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia shook her head at this. “Who are you?” Liandrin then asked.
“No one. Just a peasant from Tarabon.” Alessia spoke softly.
“No, you are more than that.” Liandrin spoke as she grabbed Alessia’s chin and held onto it. There was a look in the older woman’s eyes again. She didn’t know what it meant.
“I should find Moiraine Sedai and figure out sleeping arrangements.” Alessia spoke as she stood up. Liandrin did as well.
“You are welcome in the red tent as all women are. We have warm meals and warm beds.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia raised a brow at this before taking her leave. She had no idea what the woman meant by that. Following a small path as she found the green tent. She entered to find Lan and Nynaeve alone. Seeing the other young woman turn away quickly and leave.
“I didn't mean to intrude.” Alessia spoke.
“You didn’t. Moiraine should be back in a moment.” Lan spoke as Alessia nodded her head. It was in the moment when the tent entrance moved. She sidestepped to allow Moiraine to enter.
“I assume you are here for the sleeping arrangements?” Moiraine asked. Alessia nodded her head.
“Unfortunately we do not have room for all of us here.” Moiraine spoke.
“What do you mean?” Alessia asked.
“Here in this tent. We are all sharing beds as well. Red has more room.” Lan spoke.
“I do not want her near the reds.” Moiraine spoke.
“Then have her sleep outside in the cold then.” Lan spoke. It felt like a slap in the face.
“I’ll be fine.” Alessia spoke. Moiraine looked at her. It was a hard emotionless look that Alessia could not read. She shrugged her shoulders. She was handed a nightgown to wear. She turned to enter a corner of the tent to change and took her own leave. Leaving her bag at the foot of Moiraine’s bed. Her too small of a cloak was around her shoulders as she sat down on a log by the fire.
“Everything alright?” A voice spoke from her right. Alessia nodded her head. “Know where you are sleeping?” Tarna asked.
“Right here.” Alessia spoke as she was making herself comfortable.
“Is there no room in the other tents?” Tarna asked with a worried look. Alessia shook her head.
“Moiraine said everyone is doubled up on the beds.” Alessia spoke as she was handed a plate of food. She nodded her thanks as she felt her stomach growl. Seeing the red leave from the corner of her eyes as she was eating her food. Wondering if they were leaving her alone now. Though she was very wrong when another pair of footsteps approached her.
“Sister Tarna told me that you’re sleeping out here?” Liandrin’s voice came. Alessia sighed in annoyance.
“Lan said outside since all the beds are doubled with everyone.” Alessia spoke as she finished her plate and stood up. Walking over to the bucket and placing it inside.
“Come with me.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia raised a brow at this before following. She shivered a little as she entered the tent. There were hushed voices as Liandrin took the cloak she was wearing.
“This is too small. Have you no clothes?” The woman in red asked.
“I do.” Alessia spoke. Knowing full well all her clothes did not fit.
“Come.” Liandrin grabbed her shoulder and guided her to a bed. “Get some rest.” Liandrin spoke as the other reds were weaving out the candles. Alessia raised a brow again before taking her boots off and crawled under the covers. Near the edge by the wall of the tent. Liandrin climbed in after. She was shivering again. Feeling arms wrap around her middle and she was pulled close.
“You are shivering. Take a deep breath and relax.” Liandrin whispered into her ear. Alessia nodded and did as she was told. She took a deep breath and relaxed. Feeling the older women against her. For the first time, she felt relaxed as sleep had taken over her.

It was morning as Alessia sat up and looked around. The tent was empty. She stretched her arms above her head and got out of the bed. It was warm outside. She pondered for a moment before taking her leave. Wrapping the cloak around her shoulders as she looked around the camp. There were blurs of red and green colors around her. She couldn’t make them out. The voices were distant. Alessia called out the names she knew but there was no answer. She frowned before moving away from the tent. The fire lit but it was cold.
“Blood Calls Blood.” A voice spoke. Alessia shivered and looked around. There was a wave of shadow moving. It wasn’t a shadow but spiders. Several small spiders moved in sync as it moved past her. The fire roared loudly this time. She turned and saw it had grown bigger. It was now red. Feeling her heart race against her chest as she looked around again.
“Red. Blood. Spiders.” Alessia spoke while trying to take in everything happening around her. She held her breath as she stopped. A shadow figure was walking up to her.
“Blood calls blood.” It spoke. She frowned at this. She had no idea what this meant. The shadow’s mouth was opened but nothing else came out. She heard a squeal as she looked around her. Small birds were falling down around her. Falling down dead. She took a closer look and they were bats. As if their necks snapped. Hearing footsteps get closer as she looks up. Seeing the shadow figure closer. She could see it better now. The eyes were ember. Then there was a scream from the shadow. Its arm raised as it made a jump towards her. Alessia screamed and shielded herself. Hearing nothing as she looked up again. Seeing the pile of spiders covering the shadow before it fell to the ground and turned into spoke. Then, there was nothing around her as she stood up.
“Hello?” She called out.
“Softly softly.” A small female’s voice came from the shadows. It was so light, she almost did not hear it. It was gone as quickly as it came. Alessia was so confused about what was going on. Hearing a loud hiss and something sharp against her hand. Alessia screamed as darkness engulfed her.

Alessia sat up quickly. Feeling the cold sweat as she wiped it off and sighed. She stood up and stretched. Feeling the slight cold air as she heard voices talking outside of the tent. Alessia saw some clothes on the edge of the bed with a note. It was from Liandrin. It was a red tunic and black pants and boots. Alessia quickly changed into the clothes. They were a snug fit. She smiled at this before taking her leave from the tent. The first thing she saw were the dead bats all over the camp. The Aes Sedai were burning them. Alessia frowned while looking around.
“What is it?” Moiraine asked as she quickly walked up to Alessia. Liandrin was nearby listening in.
“Not here.” Lan spoke as Alessia was guided away from prying eyes and ears. She was led into the green tent. They were alone. Lan was keeping watch from the entrance.
“What do you know?” Moiraine asked. Alessia wasn’t sure if she trusted this woman.
“I dreamt of the bats.” Alessia spoke.
“Dreams have power. What else did you see?” Moiraine asked. Alessia knew this woman was going to keep pressing.
“There was a shadowed man. Eyes like embers.” Alessia added. She did not dare mention anything else.
“The Dark One is upon us. He knows about her.” Lan’s voice came.
“What does he mean?” Alessia asked.
“We know for sure now. You weren’t the only one who had a dream like this. Before you ran into us, the other four had a dream similar to yours. Dead bats and a shadowed man with ember eyes.” Moiraine spoke.
“So, we all shared the same dream?” Alessia asked.
“Yes, we believe that may be the Dark One trying to contact you. Whatever you do, do not reply back or contact him.” Moiraine spoke in a warning voice. “Come. Breakfast.” Moiraine added as Alessia nodded. Following the woman in blue out of the tent as they made their way to the fire. It seemed Nynaeve and Lan were talking and eating together with the other warders. Moiraine was smiling at this. Alessia raised a brow. She had a feeling that Nynaeve was taking an interest in Lan. She did not understand this. She grabbed a plate of food and sat down next to Moiraine. She was rubbing her hand now. It was sore. There seemed to be a cut on her hand that was now bleeding. Moiraine covered her hand and felt a weave. There was now a scar but the pain was still there.
"Thank you." Alessia spoke softly as she was eating. Moiraine nodded her head.
“Who gave you those clothes?” Moiraine asked as she now noticed the new clothes on her.
“Liandrin Sedai. She said my clothes looked too small on me.” Alessia explained.
“I told you to stay away from her.” Moiraine spoke in a cold tone. Alessia looked at the woman in blue.
“Lan is the one who told me to sleep outside and you said nothing. Liandrin Sedai took me out of the cold and gave me clothes.” Alessia replied back in a cold tone as well. Moiraine stood up once they finished eating. Taking Alessia’s plate and setting it in the bucket before turning back. Feeling her wrist grabbed as she was then pulled away from everyone again. Once out of sight again, Moiraine rounded onto her.
“I am trying to protect you!” Moiraine spoke. There was something in her voice that confused Alessia.
“From what? There is nothing out there that wants to harm me.” Alessia replied back.
“That is where you are very wrong.” Moiraine spoke in a low tone. Taking a step back away from the woman in blue.
“What do you mean?” Alessia asked as she was now worried.
“My sisters got a taste of how powerful you are. They will stop at nothing to get their claws in you.” Moiraine added.
“So, that means I’m staying at the White Tower?” Alessia then asked.
“Do you want to be an Aes Sedai?” Moiraine then asked. Alessia was silent at this. She had never been asked that question before. It was not something to take lightly. “I will let you think about the question but do not take the answer lightly. It is something you must prepare yourself for. It will take years.” Moiraine then spoke. Alessia nodded her head at this and sighed. Seeing the woman in blue take her leave. Alessia felt a small panic as she closed her eyes and took deep breaths. Trying to lower her heart beat.
“Everything alright?” Liandrin’s voice made her look up. Apparently the woman in red saw in her eyes as her cheeks were cupped. Alessia could feel the closeness of the red ajah. “Are you alright?” Liandrin then asked again. Alessia was staring right into the blue eyes. Her cheek was caressed and she melted right against Liandrin as she hugged the woman. Not knowing this was going to change her.
