Chapter 6
Regulus woke up to the sound of the doorbell going off, he checked his phone 2 missed calls from Sirius, 3 text messages from Sirius, one missed call from Bartemius, Sirius called and texted to let him know the he and Remus would be over soon so he knew who was at the door. “The doors open, come in” he yelled so they would quit knocking on the door “Reggie! Your still alive!” Sirius shouted as soon as he saw Regulus, Sirius got flipped of by both Remus and Regulus “Right, sorry moons” he said apolageticaly to Remus whos head still hurt from the moon the night before. James rubbed his eyes and yawned “Hey pads, sorry I couldn’t be there last night but Reggie fell asleep and i didn’t want to leave him alone, I also wanted to stay with him” “It’s ok prongs, I get it” Sirius sat in a chair by the window, while Remus sat on the couch, “I’ll be back in a moment” Regulus said and then walked through the hall. It had been about a half hour since Regulus walked away “Where did Reg go?” Sirius asked, “I’m not sure I’ll go look, you guys stay here” James got up and went to look for his boyfriend, he checked Regulus’ room, the bathroom, the kitchen, and finally he opened up the door to the library and hear quit sniffling, “Reggie, love, are you okay, I’m worried” “I’m over here” Regulus called out, but he sounded different. James found him sitting in a chair in the farthest corner of the library, he had been crying, his nose was pink, and his eyes were red, James ran over as soon as he saw him “Reg, love what happened?” James asked concerned for his boyfriend, “I just cant be around everyone right now, and there has been someone here almost every second of everyday since the surgery and it’s to much and I need people to go. Its all to much and I can’t do like anything for myself right now. I just can’t!” “sorry” Regulus said quietly “I didn’t mean to yell at you, I understand in don’t want to see me anymore” Regulus was so tired, and overwhelmed, and he needed Sirius and Remus to leave. “Hey, love, none of that, I’m not mad at you, I’m not gonna leave you, I still love you, now, what do you need?” James was so calm and nice to him “can you ask Sirius and Remus to go home?” “yeah, of course, I will do that now and come right back okay?” Regulus nodded. James came back about 5 minutes later “They are gone, Barty is calling you though” Regulus took his phone and answered the call “not now Barty” “Regulus why have you been crying?” “Barty I said not now” “I swear if its Sirius, or any of his friends-” “Barty, j'ai dit pas maintenant” Regulus hung up and put his phone down, James pulled him into a hug and they stood like that for about 5 minutes. “Do you want me to make you anything?” James asked “Butter noodles?” “I can make some, just let me know how you like them” “Thanks Jamie” “Of course love, anything else?” “Non, merci” “ok”. James went out to the kitchen, Regulus followed him and taught him how to make the butter noodles. James finished making the noodles while Regulus sat on the couch with Jinx in his lap and picked out a movie to watch. Regulus and James sat together on the couch, watching a movie, eating the butter noodle, and petting Jinx, when the movie was over James cleaned the kitchen and washed the dishes, while Regulus played with Jinx. It was probably eight when James was done cleaning the kitchen “Jamie, do you wanna watch another movie?” “Sure, just a moment” “ok” Regulus continued playing with Jinx until James got back, when he got back he sat on the seat next to Regulus, “What movie are we gonna watch?” “I was gonna see if you wanted to pick the movie since I picked the last one?” “Ok, what do you think of Hamilton?” “Never seen it before, but I can probably watch it” so they turn on hamilton and Regulus watches all 2 hours and 40 minutes. Regulus enjoyed Hamilton, he didn’t fall asleep watching it like he had with the other movies they had watched, he didn’t even try to get a book or his phone, he actually watched and enjoyed Hamilton. When James and Regulus went to bed it was half past eleven, it didn’t take long for either of them to fall asleep. James was out first, fifteen minutes after they laid down, Regulus was next, half an hour after they laid down. Regulus woke up a couple of hours later, he looked at the clock and it said 2:27 am, he let out a frustrated groan, carefully he slid out of his boyfriend's arms, walked out to the living room and sat in front of the coffee table and began working on the coffee shop. Regulus didn’t know how long he had been in the living room for, he finished the coffee shop, so he went to get another Lego set the would keep him busy for at least another week. He set up the first bag and then went to lay back down with James. Regulus layed awake in James’ arms for another hour and was gonna keep lying there but Pandora texted him so he went back out to the living room and called her “Regulus your talking to people again, Barty said you wouldn’t answer him earlier, and when you did you spoke in french, so I wanted to make sure you were ok and hadn’t gone ghost. You aren’t gonna go ghost are you?” “No, I’m not gonna go ghost on you guys, I was overwhelmed and was having emotions, and Barty was spamming my phone so I left it in the living room while i went to the Library and cried, James found me and sent Sirius and Remus home, then he made me butter noodles and we watched movies and slept for a while ad now i couldn’t sleep so, I finished my coffee shop and started a castle, and now im on the phone with you.” “Ok, next time text me or someone else, or tell James if that happens again instead of hiding in the library, I have to go Lily is making pies, and i would like to kee my flat, bye Regulus?” “Bye Pandora, tell Lily I say hi” and he hung up and went back to his room and snuggled back into his boyfriends arms.
