Chapter 5
“Reginald” Marlene and Dorcas as they were letting themselves in “Hello Mickey” Regulus said sarcastically “Hey Marls” James said happily. Dorcas came in after Marlene because she had a box of stuff in her hands, after she got in she sat the box down next to the chair Regulus was sitting in “What's in here?” he asked “It's a care package Regulus” Dorcas told him. James handed the box to Regulus and he opened it, he pulled out a blanket, a couple button ups, a candle that smelled like the ocean, 3 new books, some fuzzy socks, and a pair of pajama pants, Regulus was very happy and because Regulus was happy James was also happy. Marlene and Dorcas stayed for about 2 hours. Regulus fell asleep soon after they left and didn’t wake up until the next morning. When Regulus woke up James wasn’t in the living room but he could hear him talking so he got up to find his boyfriend. Regulus found James in the library on the phone with someone, he didn’t know who though. “Jamie, whats going on?” you could hear the sleep in his voice, and James loves sleepy Regulus. “Hold on Pads I’ll call you back later” James tells Sirius, then he hung up the phone and walked over to Regulus and pulled him into a warm hug being careful of his boyfriends upper body, they stay like that for a few minutes, until someone rings the doorbell. Pandora and Lily are at the door, Lily is holding a gift bag and Pandora is holding a drink carrier of what he thinks is coffee, James lets them in while Regulus puts on one of the button ups Marlene and Dorcas got for him the day before. Regulus gets the last couple buttons done just in time as they walk in, “Hey Regulus, feeling better now?” Pandora asks, Regulus nods “Yeah, I was gonna text you last night but one I fell asleep I didn’t wake up until about 10 minutes ago” he tells them “Is this a bad time then? We can come back later if-” Pandora is cut off by Regulus “Panda it’s ok now is fine, if it wasn’t I would have told you” “are you sure?” Pandora asks Regulus “Panda, I said it’s fine” he tells her as he pulls her into a light hug, he gives Lily a light hug as well, she hands him the bag “Here Regulus it’s for you” he sets it on the table and starts opening it, a blanket, a mug, citrus and linen scented candle, a deep green hoodie, a special edition copy of Red, White, and Royal Blue, and some of his favorite candy. “Thanks guys, you didn’t have to” Regulus them “of course we did Reg, you just had surgery, and you deserve gifts every once and a while” Pandora tells him “no I don’t” he dead panned “Yeah, you do, even if you don’t like gifts, we also didn’t you were getting the surgery until two days before you had it, and you didn’t tell us Cas did, so we infact will get you gifts, even if you don’t want gifts” Lily replies. Lily, Pandora, James, and Regulus sit in the living room and talk until Lily and Pandora have to get ready for a concert. James pulls Regulus into a hug “Are you alright love, you look sad?” “I’m ok, just need a break from people for a while, you can stay though” Regulus told James. James kissed his head “Do you want me to turn on a movie and we can cuddle?” Regulus nodded into his boyfriend, they walked over to the couch and regulus curled up next to James, they turned on a movie and Regulus fell asleep in his boyfriends arms.
