Chapter 2
When Lily Potter met the young girl, she thought she was only 5 or 6. When she learned that the girl was in fact 10, she cried. After the case was solved, they couldn’t find her parents. She didn’t tell them anything about them, as they wanted to charge her parents for human trafficking.
They never believed her when she said she was kidnapped.
After making sure everything was in order, they went to the magical bank called Gringotts. There she met the wonderful but blunt creatures called goblins. She liked them so much after the very first meeting that she decided to learn their customs, language, history, and everything about them.
During her first meeting with the goblins, she was taken with the Potters to go get adopted. She was vehemently against the adoption but didn’t really have a say as she was only 10 years old. While the adults and one goblin were conversing on how to proceed with the adoption since she doesn’t agree to it.
Lily and James decide to tell her that her parents were dead because of the cult. She started to cry and proceeded to agree to the... blood adoption but asked to keep her first name. They agreed and proceeded with the adoption.
When she was asked for her blood, she started to have a panic attack. Once they got her to calm down, she gave her blood willingly. Her blood was then put into a vial along with Lily and James Potter’s blood. She was told to drink the contents of the vial.
Once she drank the liquid she felt a tingling sensation in her core, on her skin, and her hair. After the tingling sensation left her, she looked at Lily and James only to see them crying. She paused startled, “Why are you crying” she asked, only to have her answer of being shoved in front of a mirror.
Her first thought was “who is that and why are they looking at me?” She then realized it was herself. She noted all the changes, she noticed her hair became blacker with a blue sheer to it.
Her eyes were now an emerald color. She had shot up a few inches in height. She belatedly realized that she had begun to cry. Lily thought it was happy tears while James realized that they were tears of sorrow, sadness, and acceptance. She turned to the goblin and asked for some time alone with the Goblin. Lily and James agreed with some reluctance on Lily's part. James finally convinced her after 15 minutes. Once she was alone with the goblin, she asked for a way to have her old appearance back but make everyone think she looked like Lily and James Potter.
He gave her a necklace instructing her to never take it off until she sees her family again, he also gave her a map and told her to give a letter he was about to write up to any Goblin for help to get away from Lily and James Potter.
She gratefully accepted the items and hid them once James came in. He knelt in front of her and gave her a pretty gold ring.
He then told her that it is the heiress ring and that to make up for everything he was going to give his fortune to her. She accepted a little reluctantly. He then told her that he would find her parents and take her back to them. After a year she went back to the goblins. The goblin that helped her had sadly passed 6 months prior. She handled the letter and map to Rangnorock and asked for help running away from the Potters.
See you after 1 month with them James set her down and told her that even if she felt left of her own volition that she would still be the heiress to the Potter fortune and how he would be happy either way.
A few days later they announced they were pregnant, and it was a boy. Lily wanted him to be the heir and have full power over everything. When James heard this, he threw a fit and put his foot down, saying that she was the sole heir. She then waited till the babe was born and gathered her possessions and planned to run. Once she got to Gringotts she went straight to a goblin and asked for help.
After getting help in finding where her parents where she left the wizarding world without knowing she was a witch by blood adoption. After a month of travelling, she made it back to her parents' manor and took off her necklace showing her true appearance.
She walked straight up to the door and knocked. She was hoping for Tanaka or the other servants she knew to open the door. Thankfully, the door was opened by Tanaka. Once he had seen her, he teared up but did not let her in.
"What is my favorite coffee?" He asked testing if it was her.
She laughed, "Oh Tanaka, you have never liked coffee you prefer tea. Especially ones from Japan."
Tanaka laughed and started bawling "Come in mistress. Please have a seat while I gather your mother, father, aunt, and brother!"
She smiled and waited as he walked out of the room preparing to tell them everything that happened. Rachel, Vincent, Madane Red, and Ciel came running into the room. They stepped and looked at the 11-year-old and noticed the differences and everything that was the same. Rachel stepped forward and brought Ciel forward.
"Do you know who this is?" she asked hesitantly.
Persephone turned to Ciel and looked at him closely. "I honestly have no clue."
Ciel stomped his foot "how could you not know I'm the only child of the Phantomhive's, the other one has been missing for 6 years."
Vincent stepped up and asked the most important question "what is the nickname me and your mother gave you that was never said in public?"
She paused confused by all the questions.
"Two things 1) you used to call me your godling since I am named after the queen of the underworld" she smiled "2) what's with all the questions?"
Tanaka stepped up, "when you disappeared, we had many women come and try to be you. You are the only one to answer all 3 questions correctly, but I have 1 more question. Who is your best friend and confidant?"
She smiled at the question remembering all the time her and Tanaka had, "it's you silly."
Everyone smiled and started to tear up, but Ciel wasn't convinced. See he desperately wanted to meet his sister but was scared. "Prove you are the real Persephone Phantomhive. Where is your room, what age were you when I was born? How can we biologically prove you are who you say you are?"
She thought for a moment, "for your first question I can show you where my room was/is. second question I was five and it was the night of your birth. Third I know where we can go to get that check but... I now need to prove you are the real Vincent, Rachel and Tanaka of the Phantomhive manor/family."
She smiled sadly, "Can you prove you are who you say you are?"
Vincent and Rachel nodded while Tanaka smirked, "Always a clever one my 'lady."
He looked at her, "Give us your questions and we will answer truthfully."
She looked over at Vincent "who is your biological child?"
He turned to Ciel and put a hand on his shoulder. She then turned to Rachel, "Who is Persephone Phantomhive's real father?"
Rachel shook her head and muttered something, "I'm sorry, I can't hear you," Persephone said lightly.
"I have met your father one time, and you were 9 months later." She looked down as if disappointed.

"He met me in the beginning of mine and Vincent's relationship."
Vincent nodded sadly as he knew the story of having asked after Rachel had fallen pregnant, he asked as they had been trying for a kid. Persephone looked at Vincent "who will take over the estate, the oldest or your biological child?"
Her face had fallen as she expected Ciel to get the estate. Vincent looked at her and asked how she sat and held herself. He thought about how Ciel wasn't taking anything with the etiquette classes. He looked at his little godling's posture the way her mask fell at the perfect moment. "You shall be my heir, as we have planned since you were 3. Now tell us what happened please." He sounded desperate wanting to know what happened to his eldest child.
Persephone smiled sadly, "this is not a story for little ears."
Ciel's face turned into one of indignation. "I am your biological child which means I should get the heirship."
Vincent turned to him, his face turning red from anger, "this is why you are too self-centered to be a good earl. She will carry the name to greatness, and she will keep everything great."
He walked off for a few minutes and came back with a box.
He looked at Rachel and smiled. He knelt in front of his little godling. “Here my little godling, this is the heiress ring. Don't disappoint the Queen.”
He winked at her, so she was able to know there was a hidden meaning there. Persephone looked at Vincent and smiled lightly and looked at him with tears in her eyes. “I feel like I should tell you what happened when I was kidnapped. But it is up to you on whether Ciel should stay.”
Ciel looked at her Persephone and realized she was trying to keep him safe from the horrors of the world. With that in mind he decided to just let her have the heirship.
“Hey Persephone?” He waited for her attention. Once she had turned towards him, he asked the question that had been bothering him, “what's that other ring?”
Vincent and Rachel turned to her confused. “What other ring? Are you married!?” Vincent asked.
The question promptly received a slap to the back of the head by Rachel. Persephone looked at her Potter ring.
“Actually, it is another heirship ring. See, once I was rescued from where I was held by the cult.”
Here Vincent, Rachel, Ciel, and Tanaka gasped and sat on the floor while Tanaka left, to quickly get some chairs for everyone to sit.
Once back he put them in a circle.
Everyone sat down in the chair that was put next to them. Once Persephone sat down, she looked at everyone and saw them sitting down and noticed that her mother and father were crying while Ciel looked confused with why everyone was crying over that one sentence.
“Let me begin with the day I was kidnapped. See, l even know who kidnapped me.”
She held up her hand to silence them when she noticed that they wanted to speak out.
“Save questions for later or after I am done with the retelling. Please.” She asked once she got confirmation nods from everyone she smiled and took a deep breath.
“It started as every day does. Tanaka woke me up and took me down to breakfast. We had french toast with eggs and bacon. My favorite breakfast meal. After breakfast I went and took a bath. I do not remember the name of the housekeeper that took me to take a bath but enough about the boring things.”
Everyone chuckled at that statement.
Tanaka turn to her his face one of realization, “I just remembered her name!” He yelled. Everyone turned to him.
“Well, what was her name?” Ciel asked.
“Her name was…” He paused no sound coming out of his mouth like he could not say anything.
Persephone paled once she felt magic in the air, “Tanaka, do not think about saying her name. You will not be able to.”
Tanaka paused. “What do you mean?”
He looked at her concerned.
“Well, that's part of the story, you know? I was taken by this cold who tried to sacrifice me to the devil. Speaking of, I wonder why it did not work.” She paused thoughtfully and kept thinking until Ciel threw his hands up in the air.
“Continue the story!” he yelled.
“Patience is a virtue” his mother scolded.
Persephone jumped at the voice of her little brother. “Yes, yes. I will continue the story. Well somehow this community heard of the cult and came to save us.”
Vincent smiled, “we must reward these people for bringing you home safe.”
Persephone grimaced.
Vincent looked at her, “What's wrong?” he asked, noticing her grimace.
“Well, they did rescue me but that was last year.”
Everyone looked appealed “w-what do you mean last year?” Everyone said.
“Well, while they did save me, they told me you all were dead and so they adopted me. With their blood. Luckily for us I know the potion to make it to where dad is my dad biologically. So, I would have 3 dads and 2 moms. I know that if I call for James, which is one of the people who adopted me.” She paused gaging everyone's reaction.
“He also helped me escape and I am also his heir. He had a kid when I left, his son should be around 5ish months, maybe more. Well, enough about that he said that if I were to never find you then I would have a place with him.”
Ciel chimed in, “what don't you call him then? I wanna meet him.”
She smiled at Ciel, “Well I'll go give him a call and he can help me explain what happened.”
She got up and left the room to go call James.
Once she left everyone else in the room started to talk over one another. While they were talking Persephone made her phone call. She pulled out a mirror that James gave her to call/check in with. She opened it and called for James.
Once James answered, she jumped into an explanation.
