The Sun and The Star
Summary
October 1st 1981 the Potters welcomed a new member of their little hidden family, a tiny little girl with a button nose and little wisps of black curls set upon her head. It had been a small light in such a dark time in their lives and although neither Lily or James could contact their friends freely, they still alerted both Sirius, Remus, Peter and Dumbledore of her birth once they had chosen a name that they knew Sirius would be overjoyed to hear of.For Sirius Black may not have been able to be there for her birth, he would certainly be her godparent and had often lamented that if he had ever had a child, he’d choose this name. But that was looking less and less likely to happen due to circumstances they weren’t privy to, Dumbledore's orders anyways. So, little Lyra Rose Potter, Goddaughter of Sirius Black, born October 1st 1981 was hidden away from the world with the rest of her family when the fateful night her big brother became the boy who lived.-Harry has a little sister who’s got some sense and tends to be the voice of semi-reason and has a few special…quirks of her own to deal with. Her existence affects the time-line in an odd way.((yes, this is self indulgent bullshit. shush XD))
Note
Listen. Ok, Listen. I was left alone on holiday with the family and started to jokingly think ‘awe, what if Harry had a little sister’ and then started putting notes in my phone, then I got addicted to the idea and hyper fixated and now you have a crummy little OC story that Beanie is officially obsessed with because I was left alone with books, hogwarts legacy and a hogwarts movie marathon during a stormy two days.In other words. This story was written for myself and I figured you guys might enjoy a silly little story of a child just going ‘what the fuck’ and changing the history from book 3 onwards. ((Please stop leaving Beanie alone, they end up writing things!))This first Chapter is just about Lyra's life during books 1 and 2.Updates are going to be hopefully every Wednesday, but we will see depending on the body being made of broken jenga pieces. I hope you enjoy the prologue, chapter 1 will be next week.

2. Goblins, Gold and Revelations (Part 1)

Lyra woke up to the sound of yelling and horns blaring outside of her and Harry’s room, the sound of a train’s brakes being the final piercing sound to fully pull her from the fog of sleep. The room itself shook as the train passed by and Lyra found herself sighing as she sat up and rubbed at her face.

“Morning.” Harry muttered, already dressed for the day and organising the books so that his were on one side and hers were on the other. She noted the large bound book groaning on the coffee table and shivered.

“...that book looks terrifying,” Lyra muttered, covering her mouth to yawn as she slipped off the bed and padded over to her brother. “The monster book of monsters? So it's like…alive?” she asked her brother. Poking the book's cover and shivering at the feel of fur and the enraged noise the book made at her touch.

“I suppose so,” Harry muttered, picking it up and inspecting it before removing the belt and pointing the opening to his face. Lyra shivered as the eyes reminded her of a rather large spider. “It’s not-” Harry started to say but the book suddenly opened its mouth and attempted to leap towards Harry. Lyra let out a squeal and immediately climbed onto the bed. “Lyra! Help me!” Harry all but shrieked out as he dropped the book to the floor and tried to move away from it.

“No way! If it looks like a spider and launches itself like a spider, that thing’s a damn spider and I don’t deal with them!” Lyra all but squeaked out, clinging to her legs and resting her chin on her knees as she watches Harry avoid the snarling, snapping book as it chases him.

“Oh, I am so introducing you to Aragog when we get to Hogwarts!” Harry snapped a little and jumped onto the bed beside her, Lyra nearly fell off as she had little balance in her position. Thankfully, her brother was kind enough to grab her and pull her onto the bed properly as the book launched itself angrily against the bottom of the bed before vanishing under it.

“...look at all the mess it made…what if it's destroyed pages you’ll need for class? Or-or-” Lyra started to ramble as she looked around the room for the book, as if expecting it to suddenly gain legs and attempt to climb up the bed.

“Oh sure, the damage to the book is what you're more concerned about than your own brother,” Harry muttered under his breath, but Lyra could see the slight smirk on his face, clearly teasing. “I’m hurt-”

“You’re going to be if I shove you off this bed and let that thing eat you,” Lyra scoffed back, crossing her arms and looking towards the end of the bed whilst Harry moved fully towards it. “What are you doing?”

“Just checking,” Harry stated, leaning his head over the end. It’s quiet for a moment, a couple of growls coming from the bed before the repeated sound of snapping returns and Harry pulls himself up once more unto the bed with a gasp. “Oh sure, assign a man eating book to a bunch of students taking this class for the first time. Real smart, brilliant. Utterly brilliant plan-” Harry began muttering under his breath as he watched the spider for a moment before rolling onto his back and yanking one of his boots off.

“What are you-” Lyra tried to ask but Harry had quickly hushed her, moving back to the end of the bed quickly. A train passes by once more, shaking the room and Harry waits till it stops before dropping his shoe. In an instant her brother jumped off the bed and onto the book. “Usually…I’d be upset about hurting a book like that…but like..” Lyra made a ‘eh’ sound and slipped off the bed as her brother rebound the book.

“Right, I’m going to go put this back and then pop to the loo. I’ll knock before coming back in, just in case you're still getting dressed,” Harry told Lyra, a little out of breath as he moved towards the books on the table. “I checked the book list by the way. They got every book we’d need for the year, but I noticed that they hadn’t actually gotten any other supplies, so we’ll need to go out anyway. How they expected us to go the year without parchment or anything-” Harry shook his head, muttering to himself as he left the room.

Lyra waited a moment before moving over to lock the door, just in case Harry forgot to knock on his return or if some sort of cleaner came by, before moving over to Harry’s trunk and pulling out one of her more ‘nicer’ shirts and jeans. They weren’t brand-new but they weren’t full of holes either, plus the dark purple shirt brought her eyes out nicely if she said so herself.

She’d been in the middle of tying her laces on her shoes when she felt the familiar fuzziness that accompanied one of her visions. She blinked, trying to force the fuzziness to go away but it did little to help as she soon found herself standing in a building almost made of gold.

The pillars stood tall and seemed to be marbled with golden chunks, rows of desks lined either side of her and a single desk stood in front of a golden archway with a large G on the top of it. She blinked for a moment as she looked around.

You cannot let Harry or Lyra Potter access their vaults without an adult present. Do you hear me? They cannot have access to anything Gringotts offers. Not a single service. ” An older man with a beard longer than she’d ever seen and moon-shaped glasses, spoke to a tiny man with sharp teeth and ears. “ Do you understand me, Griphook? If you let them, then I’ll have no choice but to remove you as the account manager for the Potter accounts. It's within my rights to do so. ” the old man stated, looking like he’d be anywhere but here, talking to this ‘Griphook’.

I cannot deny them access to their vaults or services that we offer. It is against the rules of the Great Goblin Nat-” Griphook, the Goblin? Yeah, Lyra was going with Goblin, told the man in front of him.

Be that as it may, I am their magical guardian and I am telling you my wishes on the matter and it should be carried out justly- ” The room changed then and the old man vanished, replaced by another goblin, this goblin seemed older and wiser than Griphook.

“I do not know what to do in this situation, Sharpknife. They have a right to their vaults, they have a right to our services. But he’s enacted his right as their legal magical guardian. Is there anything that can be done? ” Griphook asked the other, who fell quiet for a moment.

If they were to request it as heirs to their rightful house of Potter, then they circumvent him as he is no Potter. The boy should have had his inheritance test done when he was eleven and the girl is due for it as well. It is something that we might not be legally obligated to do, but presenting it as such… ” Sharpknife trailed off and Griphook joined the other in a toothy grin.

Lyra?” someone called faintly, but Lyra was doing her pay attention to Griphook and Sharpknife. This sounded important.

Then I can inform them of their rights to their vaults and offer them guidance in the usage of their coffers. Perhaps even insist they remove Dumbledore’s access to them, ” Griphook muttered, tapping his chin. “ But to even do that, I’d need one of them to bring it up… ” Griphook looked annoyed.

And being muggleraised they wouldn’t know to ask…” Sharpknife looked just as annoyed now.

Lyra!” Lyra jolted and the vision around her faded and crumbled. Lyra gave a small groan as it fully fell away around her and rubbed at her face. She could hear the door handle to the room jiggle and quickly got off the bed, one shoe still on her foot and quickly unlocked it. “Merlin's tits, Ly. You gotta answer back, you can’t just go all silent on-” Lyra rolled her eyes and nearly closed the door in her brother's face as he geared up to lecture her.

“I was in the middle of a…episode.” Lyra indicated and tilted her head into the room. They’d had a few chats during the summer about what to call her visions around people or the public, mostly because the books she’d managed to get during Harry’s second year trip had mentioned that Seer’s would often be highly sought after and Lyra was not willing to be hunted down to chat about the future with random people.

“...Ah…” All of Harry’s steam seemed to leave him at the mention of her ‘episode’ and he quickly slid into the room and closed it behind him. “Right, I gotcha. Did you see anything…bad for this year or…?” Lyra shrugged a little helplessly.

“I saw an old man demanding me and you not be allowed near our vaults or given any information by the Goblins in this building full of gold. Then the Goblin he’d made the demand too went off to another and they’re trying to figure out how to get us to ask for an ‘inheritance’ test? Something you should have had apparently?” Harry tilted his head a little.

“Inheritance test? Isn’t inheritance like the stuff you get from dead people?” Harry asked confusedly as Lyra settled down to put her other shoe on and tie the laces on the both of them.

“I think so? But like, magic and families are a big thing in the wizarding world right? So maybe it's about confirming you’re who you say you are and not some imposter? Cause you said last year you made that potion that turned you into those two boys right? So maybe it's that kind of thing?” Lyra hummed out, standing up properly now and stamping her foot a little to make sure the shoes stayed on.

“Oh, that’s possible,” Harry hummed out, before a snicker escaped him. “Yeah, Hermione was spitting hairballs for a month after that.” He grinned a little, Lyra rolled her eyes at her brother's enjoyment of his friend's suffering.

“You’re so nice to your friends. I’ll be sure to let them know of ways to annoy you,” Lyra chuckled and quickly slipped out the room as Harry let out an offended shout, she paused on the staircase and waited for him to come over after locking the door. “So, the bank first?” Lyra asked, ignoring the eyeroll her brother sent her.

“Yeah, alright. Let's go, I’m sure we’ll discover I’m actually an only child and you’re actually a troll left beside me-” Harry let out a grunt as Lyra elbowed him in the ribs. “Urgh, you're the worst.”

“Love you too, Pot.” Lyra grinned as she followed him down the stairs, Harry rolled his eyes at the nick-name.

“Sure thing, Kettle.” Harry teased back, leading her out the doors of the Leaky Cauldron.

⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆

Lyra held onto Harry’s hand as he pulled her through the streets of Diagon Alley, even though it was still rather early in the day, the streets were alive and Harry was keeping her close as they made their way to Gringotts.

“I’ve not been back here since my first year.” Harry muttered out as they walked through the doors, letting go of her hand now that they weren’t in such a crowded area.

“Seriously?” Lyra asked, pausing as they moved off to the side. “I thought that’s where you went at the start of the trip last year when Mr Weasely dragged you off somewhere?” Lyra asked curiously.

“No, he wanted to ask me about some muggle things and he didn’t want to bother you with it because you weren’t even eleven yet. I guess he figured that because I was older than you he thought I’d have more information.” Harry shrugged a little and Lyra frowned more.

“Then how did they have money from your vault?” Lyra asked, Harry paused for a moment and shrugged a bit.

“I guess Dumbledore gave them the key to our vault?” He made sure to emphasise the ‘Our’, Lyra didn’t react, just continued to frown.

“That doesn’t sound right. I mean, why is someone else holding a key to you- our -vault. That's like letting someone have your bank-card right? Uncle Vernon gave Dudley a whole lecture on that sort of thing when he gave him his own bank account this year, remember?” Lyra explained, glancing at all the Goblins around them as they worked.

“Oh…I forgot about that,” Harry muttered, looking around as well. “I’m sure there's a reason for it,” Harry shrugged before moving towards one of the smaller lines in front of a teller, Lyra followed quickly. “I’ll ask about that test thing you brought up and to speak with whoever is in charge of our account. That should get us all sorted, then we’ll go grab your wand and everything else we’ll need for the year and get back to the room.” Harry whispered to Lyra, who nodded along quietly.

“We want to ask about properties as well, so that we can stay somewhere other than that…building.” Lyra reminded him gently, Harry just nodded briefly as they moved towards the teller as the person in front of them left grumbling under their breath.

“Hello, I’m Harry Potter and this is my sister Lyra Potter, we’re here to-” Harry began, but the Goblin in front of them had looked up intrigued by their names and leant forward, cutting Harry off.

“Potter, you say?” The Goblin asked, voice almost scratchy as it looked at both children almost hungrily. Lyra found herself stepping closer to her brother and gripping his sleeve a little in uncertainty.

“I did. I’m Harry James Potter. This is my sister, Lyra Rose Potter, we are here to-” Harry tried again but the Goblin cut him off.

“I shall get your account manager. One moment.” The little goblin jumped down from his desk and left the pair of them standing at the till.

“Huh, he looked…excited?” Lyra offered up and Harry scoffed a little.

“Elated, obviously.” Harry chuckled, before straightening up as another Goblin approached with the previous one.

“Mr and Miss Potter?” The new Goblin greeted, Harry nodded quickly. “Do either of you have your keys?” The new Goblin asked, Harry paused for a moment and looked a little miss-footed.

“No, we don’t. My brother and I never received them, sir,” Lyra offered up to the two Goblins, Harry shot her a look to quiet down but she had both of the Goblins' attention, so she continued on. “We’d be happy to prove our identity, you see, I read that you guys do an inheritance test-” the new Goblin grinned like he just won the lottery and the one beside him looked overly pleased as well.

“Ah, yes. An inheritance test. Common thing to have done for witches and wizards of eleven and up. It’ll provide us with proof of who you are and what you own.” The new Goblin repeated, Lyra nodded her head.

“Me and Harry are happy to do one, eager even. We’d like to understand what we have access to and I’m sure you and the other Goblins here do a brilliant job of keeping track of such things, Mr…?” Lyra knew she was laying it on thick, but neither Goblin seemed upset by it. In fact, they seemed rather amused. Harry, on the other hand, was watching with an uncertain look in his gaze as he kept a hand on Lyra’s shoulder.

“Griphook, I am the Potters account manager. The Goblin from the tills is Boneknuckle,” Lyra nodded to the two and Harry copied her, seeming to let her take lead for a moment. “Follow me to one of our rooms and we shall confirm your identities.” Griphook turned quickly and started to walk away, Lyra and Harry were quick to follow.

“What happened to letting me talk?” Harry whispered to her as they moved through the foyer of the bank. Lyra shrugged a little helplessly.

“You were getting annoyed and then they brought up the key and we’d just talked about it. Your reluctance to tell them was kind of a boot up my butt to speak up, sorry.” Lyra did give him an apologetic look then, but Harry just rolled his eyes and sighed.

“I’ll let it go, only because you actually get things moving. But seriously, Ly, let me handle things in the future. You’re only eleven.” Harry reminded softly, Lyra just hummed back, not fully agreeing with the request but letting it drop for now as they entered the private room with the Goblin.

“Little young wix like yourselves would do best to remember that just because you are whispering, your conversations are not private or unable to be heard,” Griphook commented as he settled into one of the chairs and pointed them to the two opposite him, the two children had the decency to look abashed at least. “Now, as I stated at the front desk, I am the account manager for the Potter Vaults, my name is Griphook. I am recognising that you do not have your keys on you and that you’ve made the claim that neither of you have ever been in possession of your keys for your vaults.” Griphook stated clearly, Harry just nodded his head whilst Lyra looked to the side where a glowing crystal sat at the end of the table.

“Is there a reason you’re re-stating everything?” Lyra asked, glancing back to the Goblin who just smiled at her like an almost elated shark.

“That crystal is recording this conversation for our archives to ensure that any attempt to make…claims of coercion are possibly supported or disproved with the audio recording of this meeting.” Griphook stated calmly.

“Huh, I didn’t know the wizarding world had recorders.” Harry muttered, leaning around Lyra to look at the crystal. Lyra hummed in agreement.

“Now, at the front desk you requested an inheritance test without prompting, is this correct?” Griphook confirmed, taking a quill and scribbling on the parchment in front of him.

“Yeah.” Harry confirmed, nodding his head as he settled properly into the chair.

“We did, yes. I’d read about it in some books I was able to get last year. I’ve been interested in it since then.” Lyra lied easily, the Goblin paused in his scribbles and looked at her intensely for a moment before nodding, that same sharp smile on his face. He taps the crystal and the glow stops.

“Wonderful, thankyou for confirming and giving us a plausible reason for why you are aware of such a test.” Griphook commented, setting the quill down, Harry frowned and rested a hand on Lyra’s shoulder.

“You said it was plausible…are you insinuating something else?” Harry asked, eyeing up the Goblin. Griphook just kept his smile and tilted his head a little.

“Goblin magic…is different to wix magic. Some of us are able to…see when people aren’t being forthcoming. I won’t ask the real reason you were aware of what to ask for, seeing as I assume it’ll reveal itself on the test.” Griphook gave them both a look and Lyra gave a wobbly smile.

“Could you tell us about what this test will tell us?” Harry asked, keeping his hand on Lyra’s shoulder. Lyra lent into the touch a little, grateful her brother was beside her as the Goblin’s smile was making her feel nervous.

“With three drops of blood this test shall confirm who you are, who your parents are, who your godparents are and what heirships you are entitled to. After that we can test for family magic and gifts.” Griphook listed, Lyra glanced at her brother, who just nodded along, biting her lip for a moment before she spoke up.

“What about vaults and properties?” Lyra asked curiously, Harry glanced at her before looking back to the Goblin across from them.

“Properties and vaults shall be gathered and passed over once the inheritance test is completed. The test will compose a list of all things intended for you and a separate document that I’ll go to my office to collect once both tests are completed.” Griphook stated calmly.

“And you’ll actually show us, or is there a charge?” Harry asked, leaning back in his chair. Griphook grinned even more.

“The test is fifteen galleons per test, everything else is included in that price.” Griphook mentioned, Lyra tensed a little at the price and glanced at her brother, unsure if he even had fifteen galleons on for just one test.

“Is that up front or can it be taken from our vault once the test is finished?” Harry asked, Griphook tilted his head for a moment before answering him.

“Usually, we would take funds up front. However, I have permission to allow you to pay afterwards. As collateral, I shall take your wands to ensure you do not leave us unpaid.” Griphook held his hand open expectantly, Harry tensed a little and rested his hand on his hip where his wand no doubt sat.

“Our wands?” Harry asked, voice hesitant.

“Yes. For collateral. If you can’t pay via your vaults then we shall hold onto your wands until you are able to produce the funds to do so.” Griphook explained calmly, Lyra looked between the Goblin and her brother for a moment, unsure. Harry seemed to take the que and spoke up.

“Lyra’s not gotten her wand just yet,” Harry began, glancing awkwardly at the Goblin. “I can do the test first, then use the funds to pay for hers and mine afterwards.” Harry offered, Griphook nodded his head after a moment of silence and slid over a long wooden box.

“Place your wand in here and we shall begin,” Griphook requested and Lyra watched as Harry reluctantly parted with his wand. Once the box was sealed, Griphook passed over a long silver blade. “Create a small cut to allow your blood to drip onto the parchment. Once there is enough blood, the magic shall start to work.” Griphook explained, Lyra turned her head away from her brother as he placed the blade to his palm, unable and unwilling to see blood.

“Wuss,” Harry chuckled under his breath, but it was quickly replaced by a hiss of pain. “Alright, all done. You can look back now.” Harry told Lyra, who cautiously turned her head to her brother, scrutinising his unhurt palm.

“The magic in the blade heals the injuries inflicted once the correct amount of blood is given.” Griphook explained, bringing Lyra’s attention back to him.

“Oh, that’s actually really cool. Is that like a charm or rune? Or is it something forged into the-” Lyra started to ask, but Harry quickly hushed her, covering her mouth with his now uncut palm.

“Sorry, since Lyra discovered that magic existed and brought some books she’s been a bit…obsessed with learning what she can about magi-ow!” Harry hissed as Lyra bit at her brothers hand with a huff. Griphook looked amused as he tapped a finger to the parchment.

“Wisdom is a brilliant tool to have on the battlefield. Strength and courage is always more suited to the Goblin nation, but wisdom and knowledge? You cannot win a battle without such things,” He nodded, once more tapping his long finger. “Shall we discuss your results.” He stated, turning his attention fully to Harry. Lyra barely listened to what was being said as she looked over Harry’s parchment.

“Hadrian? Redacted?” Harry asked, voice unsure. Lyra scrunched up her nose a little, curious about how magic could withhold information. “I don’t understand?” Harry asked, looking back to the parchment and Griphook in confusion. Griphook glanced down at the parchment once more before sighing.

“I assumed something like this would happen. Odd that he’d block his own name on such parchment…” Griphook muttered to himself, Lyra looked between the two before speaking up.

“Our magical Guardian, right?” Lyra asked softly, keeping her gaze now on the paper. “We don’t know who that is…but if this person is going through all these hoops to not be found out, is it because this paperwork can be accessed by the ministry to confirm heirship rights and stuff?” Lyra questioned.

“Exactly. If you choose to accept your Lordships or heirships, then we’re obligated to alert them of such changes,” Griphook explained. “Because Mr Potter is under-age, he’ll have to wear the heirship rings, making him Heir Potter. Once he is seventeen he can take his Lordship rings and become Lord of the houses.”

“But what about the redacted heirship? Is there a way to fix it?” Harry asked, curious.

“No, until you are seventeen the redaction shall stay or if you fall under someone else's care and that legal or magical guardian enters and requests its removal. For now, you cannot do so because of your age. You can’t accept that heirship until it is revealed but once you turn seventeen you can do so.” Griphook stated.

“Oh…that…makes sense…damn.” Harry trailed off, sighing a little. Griphook gave him a small nod before tapping the box that held Harry’s wand.

“I shall return this to you as I am aware you, at least, can pay for your test,” Griphook stated. “Are you willing to pay for Miss Potter’s test before we carry on discussing the ways in which you can accept your Heirships for the time being?” Griphook questioned.

“Oh…urm, yeah. Yeah, do her test. I’ll pay for it.” Harry assured, taking his wand back gingerly as he continued to look over the short parchment.

“Alright,” Griphook pulled out the parchment and Lyra watched with quiet uncertainty as he cleaned the knife from before and passed it to her. “Just a little cut and we’ll know what you are entitled to.” Lyra’s grip shook as she held the knife, looking between her finger and the knife before looking to her brother hopefully. Harry seemed to get the hint and took the knife, Lyra turned her head away quickly once more as he pricked her finger.

“There we are,” Harry muttered, guiding Lyra’s hand over the parchment and gently squeezing the cut, Lyra continued to look away from her own injury and closed her eyes tightly. “She’s not a fan of blood.” He explained to Griphook as he let go of Lyra’s hand.

“Most young witches aren’t,” Griphook commented, Lyra glanced at her hand and sighed in relief as she saw it lacked injury once more. “Hm…more retractions.” The Goblin muttered before turning the parchment once more to them.

“Two Lordships? Ladyships?” Harry muttered, looking over the paper with Lyra. “and an heirship…what could be so important about hiding this information?” Harry muttered, Lyra hummed quietly as she looked over it.

“Peverell?” Lyra questioned, glancing up to Griphook who was looking them both over with a critical eye before sighing.

“I cannot talk to you about these before I retrieve the Peverell account manager. I'll also collect the other documents about your accounts, Mr and Miss Potter. Do you want me to grab the family magics forms as well?” He asked.

“That’s not-” Harry began, clearly annoyed that the questions weren’t being answered, but Lyra spoke over him.

“That would be brilliant, thank you,” she told the Goblin, watching him leave before looking at Harry. “I think he has to bring the other Goblin in. I don’t think he’s trying to dodge our questions, he just needs to follow the rules…it's like when Aunt Petunia broke those bottles of wine at M&S, remember? They had a…a protocol to follow?”

“...I guess. I just…I dunno, the lack of answers is getting to me. The fact that someone is supposedly trying to stop us from getting those answers-” Harry began, crossing his arms over his chest and sighed. “I dunno, maybe I should speak to Dumbledore about-” Lyra cut in.

“Why go to the headmaster?” Lyra asked, watching her brother's confused face she pushed. “Why go to Dumbledore if the answers we need are from the ministry. Surely they’ll have documents on who our magical guardian is and if we have that information, then we can contact them and get answers that way, right?” Lyra asked, tilting her head a bit.

“...But I’m supposed to go to Dumbeldore when I need answers…” Harry muttered, looking at her in confusion, Lyra frowned and opened her mouth to answer when she was interrupted.

“I believe you are correct Griphook, an influence test is needed.” Lyra’s head whipped around and the other Goblin from her vision stood in the doorway, a pile of parchments in his hand.

Sharpknife ..” Lyra muttered almost unconsciously and the little Goblin just grinned at her, looking too pleased at her calling his name.

“Oh, this is going to be fun. ” Sharpknife chirped out, Lyra wondered if it was too late to re-start the day and just avoid this Goblin in general.

Probably not. But hey, maybe they’d get some answers now.
