Time travel and House Change
Back in time, around 1943:
“Lucius. I have something to tell you.” Tom mumbled quietly.
“What is it Tom?” Lucius asked Tom.
“I umm-sort of am a Slytherin now instead of a Ravenclaw.” Tom replied.
“Oh. Well nothings wrong with Slytherin. Now we’re in the same house at least.” Lucius said, trying to comfort his boyfriend.
“Yeah, it’s just, you know, different. At least I’ll be with you though,” Tom reasoned, “but why do you think I’m being switched. Did I do something wrong?”
“No, I think that green just suits you. Maybe that’s why.” Lucius said jokingly.
Tom nodded and looked down at his shoes. He couldn’t believe this was happening to him. Had he changed his future? If so, how?
Later as Lucius and Tom laid peacefully in bed sleeping, until Lucius was awoken by a nightmare. It wasn’t a normal nightmare though, no, it was much more. It was the future, but not for them. A boy, named Harry and a boy named Theodore. Harry had become a Slytherin, much like Tom except for the fact that Tom used to be Ravenclaw and Harry used to be Gryffindor.
Lucius couldn’t believe the nightmare. It went from seeing the boys change houses, to The future. Lucius and Tom were standing by each other, dead bodies littering the ground. But no, this wasn’t the Tom he knew and loved. He was warped, and Lucius was cold and dead in the eyes. Like he was alive, but barely, like he had seen some stuff.
Meanwhile Tom’s nightmare consisted of his future. He was Voldemort, but didn’t know it yet. It was so scary. Tom then saw Harry in the dream. He saw himself kill James and Lilly, then he watched as he attempted to kill an innocent baby, Harry. Why would he do this. He had no idea. It was terrible. It was horrifying, could this really be his own future?
Narrating paragraph:
You thought Tom Riddle was bad, you just never understood him. You just assumed he had always had the destiny to be Voldemort, well you thought wrong. Tom Riddle changed. And now, Harry will too. I’m sure of it. But what if he doesn’t, the only way that will happen is if he changes his destiny. But how, you may ask. I don’t know. Why don’t you tell me.
Present day Hogwarts:
Harry lie in his bed, wondering how to fix this mess. He wonders if he should inform his Dads. But he ultimately decides on not bothering them. Theo also lie in his bed wondering the same as Harry. Neither of them know what to do.
