Lost Pet Meet Cute - Pietro Maximoff & Reader
You’d spent the day putting up posters to find your lost dog. He’s got grey fur and you’ve had him for five years. He went missing a few hours ago and you really wanted to find him again.
You were on your way home when your phone rang. You didn’t recognise the number, so you hoped it was someone that found your dog.
“Hello.”
“Hi, I think I found your dog. Silver, green eyes, very fluffy, no?”
The person on the other end had a thick accent, and it sounded so pretty. “Yes, that sounds like him. What’s the name on the collar?”
You heard a chuckle as he responded, “Quicksilver.”
“Yes, that’s him.” You were unsure why the person on the other end was chuckling, but it was fine as long as you got your dog back. “Would it be alright with you if we met somewhere? Or I could come to you?”
He named a few places close by and you chose one. You were thankful you had Silver’s lead with you. You both decided to meet in about 10 minutes, which would be how long it would take you to get to the location. You also share your names, so you know their name.
You head that way and when you get there, you see your dog and someone playing with her.
When you get close enough, you only say his name, “Pietro?”
He looks up and over at you, calling Quicksilver back over to him. He stands up, holding her and you take him in. He’s very pretty. Stunning, actually. He smiles and asks about your dog, handing her back to you. You took her hand held her tightly and muttered something about her never leaving you again. You finally looked back up at him and said, “I was so worried that I wouldn’t find her again.”
“I’m happy to bring her back to you.” He stares at you for a moment before he looks at you a bit confused. “Why Quicksilver?”
“Have you seen how fast she runs?”
He smirks and nods.
“Well, add that to her pretty silver fur, and Quicksilver is what I came up with.” You paused before finally asking, “Is there something I can give you in return as a reward?”
“Coffee.” He seemed happy.
“That’s what you want?”
“Yes, we get coffee together.”
“Oh, ok. I’d like that.” You pulled out her lead and went to put it on her, but pulled back. You looked up at him and shyly asked, “can you please hold her? I need to put her lead on her so she can walk with us.”
“Of course.” He took Quicksilver from you and held her for you. You put the lead on her and he set her down. With this, she led the two of you away and you had coffee with him. When you both went to leave, he asked for your number and made plans to go on a date. He kissed your cheek before you both walked off.
You turned to see him speed away and that’s when it hit you, you just had coffee with Quicksilver from the Avengers. It was either that or someone else had the same power he did.
