You made plans to go on a run with your friend, Sam Wilson. When you got there he was already running, but you didn’t let that stop you and decided to catch up to him.
You’d been running for a while when you heard from behind you, “on your left.” You weren’t thinking when you looked to your right. “Other left!”
You looked to your left and saw Sam finally running beside you. The two of you ran until you got to a tree and you both sat down next to each other, breathing heavily.
“I can’t believe I forgot my left and right,” you laughed. “I wasn’t thinking.”
You leaned against him as he smiled, kissing the top of your head. His breathing got slower and he whispered, “it’s alright. Sometimes that happens.”
